00:00If I give you just a couple of examples, the defense industrial debates where their drones
00:04and their missiles and their navy were degraded by 90%. They have about 10% left. For the navy,
00:10my military assessment would be that the navy will not begin to rebuild for 5 to 10 years.
00:16Many of you serve in states that build ships. It's complex. It's particularly complex when you
00:22don't have an industrial base to build it. My professional perspective on this also is that
00:27Iran would not return to the same level of navy that it had for a generation.
00:33Now, this 10% of drones left, are they exquisite or the sort of relatively inexpensive drones we've
00:41been hearing about? Senator, thank you for this question. I think I'd like to use the opportunity
00:45to myth bust on drones. The days of $35,000 drones that we saw in the last couple of years,
00:52particularly in the fight against the Houthis in Yemen, those days are behind us. Today, we face
00:57an increased threat from drones that are highly sophisticated. They're jet powered. They have
01:03high-end sensors. They have electronic warfare. They have signals intelligence. So those days of
01:09using high-value defenses to shoot down cheap targets are behind us. Quite the contrary. What we
01:15have been doing lately is using our own low-cost one-way attack drones attacking Iran, making them use
01:24higher-end, more expensive weapons. So I can confidently tell you we have flipped the cost curve in many
01:28ways. Always work to be done. But I like where we are in this regard. Okay. And you know, there's
01:34been a lot of
01:34talk about a part of the negotiations being giving up the nuclear ambitions. But almost as important to me
01:45is the support of terrorist proxies. So has Iran ever been willing to support for the terrorist proxies, Hamas,
01:56Houthis, Hezbollah? They have not, Senator. So to what extent has this exercise, this operation,
02:04denied Iran resources for funding terrorism? Senator, this has been a significant priority from the outset.
02:12And as we sit here today, there are no resources and equipment that are flowing from Iran to Hamas,
02:19Hezbollah, or the Houthis. Those transfer paths and methods have been cut off.
