00:17in a second but Ben let's start at week one uh in Indianapolis taking on the Colts
00:23we don't exactly know who the starting quarterback will be for the Colts just yet could be Danny
00:29Dimes but I don't anticipate him being there could be Anthony Richardson that'd be even worse
00:34but the Colts do have you know things that scare you Jonathan Taylor's in that backfield they bring
00:41back Alec Pierce Michael Pittman's gone he's in the division now so we'll see but I'm a big fan of
00:46Josh Downs when he's on the field uh Warren was great for them last year that defense can be up
00:52and down but that's not an I don't think that's a gimme game going to Indianapolis
01:02I'll say the Ravens win but here I am falling in a trap already here I am falling in a
01:08trap want to
01:09know but I'll I'll give them the win because of the question marks at quarterback to start the year
01:15for the Colts I can't trust Anthony Richardson I just can't without a doubt I'm right there with
01:20you uh if Daniel Jones was able to finish last season first off he finishes last season this team
01:26makes the playoffs but if he was able to finish last season healthy and make things work I would
01:32probably give this a loss on the road in Indianapolis and we know the players that they added to that
01:37defense and and how much that defense can play some football to that as you mentioned Anthony
01:42Richardson where he got hurt with a stretching band during like I'm not guaranteed he's going
01:48to be healthy to go week one it's just the reality of it they're going to have to get him
01:51preseason
01:52snaps if he's still on the team and if not it's going to be Riley Leonard that doesn't scare me

01:57because of their quarterback it's not an easy game this is not me say oh check I didn't check it

02:02right when I saw it like I do um uh well when I was in high school and before that

02:06was a win but it'll be a tough one because it's on the road and it's a team's you know

02:11opener uh but I do just with the quarterback situation I lean the Ravens week two home opener
02:16against the New Orleans Saints nah I don't think I could I can't pick the Saints in good faith
02:26I can't I can't do that in good faith assuming that and look I'm gonna be honest I do think
02:32there has been a little bit of overboard talk in terms of the in terms of like the Ravens defense
02:40being back like I do want to see it on the field first before I start going crazy yeah like

02:47giving credit to mentor yeah and I do think the defense will be better I gotta see them between
02:55those white lines before I start saying that they're back that said that Saints team fights
03:02they fight and they kind of found ways to make games uh tough for their opponents last year where
03:12I just thought that they get ran off the field and as the year went on they got more and
03:17more confident
03:20I'm gonna pick the Ravens to win this one but I I'm calling it now I think the Saints are
03:27going to put
03:27up some sort of fight in that game I the Saints are my dark horse to win the the NFC
03:33South this year
03:34that's how far I'm going with the Saints and it's less about how good how high I think of the
03:38Saints
03:39is more of how little I think of the division I mean who am I to put stock into the
03:44Falcons what are
03:44they doing they've had they've had the most talent in that division for a while but they've done nothing
03:50with it the Bucs I want to see what they look like without Mike Evans that's a huge huge loss
03:56for Mike Evans and what's his uh what's the back out there uh gosh he was hurt most of last

04:03from Oregon uh yeah um why am I drawing a blank Bucky Bucky Irvin Bucky Irvin it looks like he's
04:10still
04:10dealing with uh that shoulder issue that he was dealing with a lot last year so I I'm not really
04:17buying the Bucs uh who and the Panthers I mean we'll see what the Panthers they got they got better
04:23they were a playoff team I I actually think uh Bryce is a little more worthy of that first round

04:31than he showed early in his career I've always been high on Bryce to be honest with you I've always
04:35liked him but it's a toss-up division the Saints could honestly win that division I I'm not putting
04:43it past them but I do think they lose week two I'm with you and this team did win four
04:48of their
04:48last five games down the stretch last year and once things changed over from Spencer Rattler to Tyler
04:53Shuck things changed for the offense now their defense was horrendous the first half of the season
04:58the bye week is when things got right for them and they did start playing better football I don't buy
05:02the defense I just don't and I do agree where we need to see the Ravens defense be better before
05:10I can
05:11say Jesse Minter is the the key that that opens the door for the defense but I think they'll be
05:16able to maybe force some turnovers with Shuck and do enough to win this game it's also the home
05:20opener I know they've they had the letdown against Las Vegas a new coaching staff it feels like kind
05:28of revamped with they value and getting out to a hot start you have to think both sides offense and
05:33defense is going to be ready to go to start the season so I'm taking a win as well I'm
05:37not liking
05:37where this is headed because I know I'm not liking where this is headed it's getting tough I I but
05:42week three they they go to Rio Rio uh they they take on the Cowboys I see this as a
05:50game where
05:52this is going to be the defense's first real test this this is going to be the one where we
05:58see how
05:59real this defense is in the sense of it's it could end up being who has the ball last it
06:06might end up
06:06being Dallas can the defense go out there and get a stop we know that team's going to throw the
06:11ball
06:11all over the field especially if Dax healthy can the defense get the stop when they have to to seal
06:19the win in that game I don't think Dallas is going to do too much to necessarily stop the Ravens
06:24offense and even though that Dallas defense has improved uh and I think the world of Caleb Downs
06:30I'm on record for saying I think he could be the best player in this class
06:36I can't in good faith give it to the Cowboys though I just can't pick the Cowboys that's the
06:41biasness in me a little bit but the professional in me might have to go Dallas just because
06:50I don't know if the Ravens can stop them in a two-minute drill I don't think they have the
06:55corners to stop them in a two-minute drill and until I see otherwise I'm not buying that
07:02granted Trey Henderson is a bona fide pass rusher that's when it's going to come time is he earning
07:07his money because somebody's going to have to get to Dak in the two-minute drill to stop that drive
07:13I just got to see it first I probably got to go Dallas in that one yeah I told you
07:19last segment that
07:20that was the scare for me early and that's where it is for me I am picking Dallas uh
07:26Dallas is more together I would say in terms of the changes for them came in the second half of
07:33last season and we see you bring in Quinnen Williams and that changed their run defense was horrendous
07:38before they brought him in you add him to Kenny Clark on that defensive line DeMarvian Overshone
07:43has always been a dog the issue is he just can't stay healthy week three I would expect him to
07:48be on
07:48the field you draft as a Raku who showed some flashes for them um again their defense isn't
07:55special but it's not where it once was as bad as it wasn't Caleb Downs could be another special
08:00piece that can make different plays um and the wide receiver core like Flournoy is a thing that they
08:06were able to get things out of him Kamonte Turpin I know he only does stuff on the the returns
08:10no he
08:11can also catch short passes and we know short passes have hurt the Ravens with little gadget type of
08:15players this is going to be a really really tough matchup and on top of all of it this is
08:20not in
08:21Dallas or in Baltimore it's in Brazil you're gonna have Falcons fans there you're gonna have Cardinals
08:26like this is just a really really tough situation uh I think I again I think Jesse Minter is gonna
08:32change his defense but I think Dallas is gonna be too much so I have them two and one as
08:35well I
08:36mean and you went through a handful of their receiving options I mean Jake Ferguson is coming off a
08:41career year Javante Williams was really good for them on the ground last year that that's going to
08:47be uh a tough one for sure one one more and we'll get to a a call real quick the
08:53Titans back home uh
08:55after leaving uh Brazil that should be a bounce back when I'm just concerned about the fact that
09:03they're coming home is why I'm giving them the edge they're coming home from Brazil um but the Titans
09:08should be a bounce back game although again I do think the Titans will be marginally better than
09:12they were last year like all the what does that look like no I'm not look I'm not picking the
09:16Titans to win any more than four games next year no come on I mean they need it they need
09:22a lot
09:22Tennessee is so far away what did he do in New York like he's he's back to these ground zero

09:30again I like Carnell Tate we both do like I like Cam Ward I got him in my dynasty league
09:35so I need him
09:36to really do well this year because last year I couldn't even really play him but I think that's
09:41a bounce back win for the Ravens can't see this Jermaine Johnson's uh interesting signing
09:47Jeffrey Simmons is a bulldog yes even Franklin Myers like that addition I don't trust that
09:52secondary whatsoever uh the linebacking core is what it is their offense is going to take a step
09:57forward Carnell Tate is going to be a true wide receiver one in the NFL fully believe that like
10:02Calvin Ridley has never been what they thought now the Wondell Robinson signing that's interesting
10:07really good if he could stay healthy along with that like that wide receiver core has something
10:11cooking and Cam Ward we know what we project that he can do so no it's they're not what they
10:17were
10:17but if you lose at home to the Titans people will be souring on the Jesse Mentor era quickly

11:47oh dang so we do got two back-to-back uh prime time games um they gonna um the Ravens

11:53though but I mean other than that do I look at the schedule like it's good I know I see

11:57some people complaining oh my god four divisional games to finish the season off ain't that what we
12:03want because I mean that'll show us if we ready for the the playoffs or not right because I mean
12:07you know a divisional game is basically like a playoff game you know what I mean but other than that
12:12happy with the schedule man I can't wait start off with Houston I mean uh start off with the
12:17Colts and the Saints not bad yeah I thought we I thought we would have had some more prime time
12:23game but I'm letting y'all know now I'm saying this first on 105.7 first take from Trippie that

12:37time game at the bank but other than that though I like where we going at but I think we
