00:05you have so much going on right now.
00:07Let's start with Guy Ritchie's new action thriller
00:09in the gray.
00:10Three, two, one.
00:11It's just a really good throwback heist film.
00:15It does have this late 90s, early 2000s vibe to it,
00:19which I love and it's very, very Guy Ritchie
00:22that has a lot of like lock stock
00:25and two smoking barrels vibe to it
00:27where there's just incredibly well written dialogue
00:30and fun and witty.
00:32You think you can recover it?
00:33You know I can.
00:34Between Henry and Jake, your handsome co-stars,
00:37who was making you laugh harder off screen?
00:40Henry's understatedly funny.
00:42You never really realize
00:43and then all of a sudden he'll like drop something.
00:46Exhibit A.
00:47Jake is just more outgoing and outspoken
00:50and he's such a big personality
00:53and I really love being in proximity of him
00:55because he's one of the smartest people I know.
00:57Obviously one of the most talented actors of his generation.
01:00I just told you, it's Silk.
01:03So I just really enjoyed watching them.
01:05You were also in I Love Boosters,
01:07a visually stunning crime comedy with an all-star cast.
01:11How was that?
01:12It was exhilarating.
01:13I was just very enthusiastic of being part of this cast
01:18to start with.
01:19I was really in love with the script when I read it.
01:22I think that Boots has just a brilliant mind of his own
01:26and the way that he is functioning
01:29and firing through every cylinder is above 99%
01:32of the population out there.
01:34I just, I can never keep up with him.
01:37And obviously the cast was like the cherry on the top
01:39and they just lived up to the expectation.
01:41I'd never been on a set where I ran so many parallels
01:44with other actresses
01:46and without realizing all of a sudden I noticed,
01:49oh wow, most of us are women of color
01:51and we've had very similar careers
01:54and experienced really similar things
01:56and hurdles of our industry and whatnot.
02:00And it was really exciting to sit there
02:03and sort of digest and express how we were feeling
02:07and then kind of put our thinking caps
02:08and come to set and have a ball.
02:11Give it to me, it's mine anyway.
02:12Switching gears, we love how body positive you are.
02:16That's inspiring for so many people.
02:18When you're maybe not feeling your best,
02:20what are some ways you pick yourself back up?
02:22It's that interview when they ask Rihanna
02:24how does she pick up in herself in the morning
02:26and do all this and she goes, delusion.
02:28Whenever I'm in a place where, whether I'm not getting jobs
02:32or I keep getting no's or everything's going really wrong
02:36in my life, whether in my personal life or my career
02:39or both simultaneously.
02:42You know, my dog just died and I'm just really having a hard time
02:45and I have to just like keep afloat and keep moving.
02:49Like no one knows what the hurdles of any individual are.
02:53I definitely have my own insecurities
02:55but I definitely have to always search for the yes
02:57and there's no amounts of no's that will take me down.
