00:00The NHL takes center stage game at 7 o'clock tonight. Any game at 9.30 p.m. Eastern. Let's
00:05go to game number one, 7 o'clock. That is Montreal and Buffalo. Zambonis be damned. Let's get some goals
00:11in this. Maybe we get also a game seven as a possibility. Why? They come back to Buffalo. 2-2
00:17series tied. Entertaining series. Two fantastic fan bases here, Joe. But we take a look at the lines. Opened up
00:24around a minus 120 price. Still across the board. Minus 120 price. Slight favor for the home team.
00:30Buffalo Sabres. The total listed between five and a half and sixes, depending on where you're shopping at now. Best
00:36of three. Homeless advantage. Buffalo, Joe. Give me a spread line tonight.
00:41Well, Donnie, I mean, what a different game this would have been had Montreal actually held on in one in
00:48game four there. But much like they didn't do against Tampa Bay, right?
00:53They had an opportunity there. Unfortunately, went back to a game five with Tampa, which they ended up handling business
01:00in the all-important game five in that series.
01:03They're going to have to do it on the road again here in a very tough environment with Buffalo.
01:08But they are going to have to be better on special teams, Donnie.
01:12They can't go one of seven with a man advantage again and think they're going to hold down this Buffalo
01:17team,
01:18who, by the way, went two of four with a man advantage in that game.
01:22And that is why they're here, including, you know, the overtime winner to get them back here,
01:27knotted up at two apiece. Five and a half, Donnie, is an interesting total in this one.
01:32It's priced like a coin flip, but I think the five and a half is interesting.
01:36Are we going to get another one of these two one, maybe three one, even three two?
01:42Or are the goaltenders going to be in trouble here tonight?
01:45I tend to think we're going to get over five and a half goals here.
01:49I think both teams are just going to let it rip here tonight.
01:52I think it's going to be entertaining. I'm looking at the over in this one.
01:56Got great hockey tonight, too. Game number two is going to be 9.30 p.m. out there on the
02:00West Coast.
02:00This one's going to be game number six in a 3-2 series lead for the Vegas Golden Knights.
02:05But as we just talked about with Montreal and Buffalo, minus 120s across the board.
02:08How about this one, Joe? The Golden Knights and the Ducks, minus 111, minus 108 splits here
02:13in a total of six and a half. We are looking forward to some great hockey tonight.
02:17Could it be closing time for Vegas moving on?
02:20Or does Anaheim at home force a game seven back in Las Vegas, Joe?
02:25What's the spread line for you here?
02:27Well, this is, you know, put up or shut up time here.
02:30Now, I didn't expect an under last game like we got,
02:33but that was another fantastic overtime game as well, Donnie.
02:37And I think it closed around six in that last game there.
02:42So we're starting to see the totals come back down as we get a little bit closer here,
02:48obviously, to getting to the conference championships here.
02:52I tend to think it's at six right now, Donnie.
02:55I don't think it's going to get any lower.
02:56But you know what happens in these elimination games, right?
03:00If the Ducks are down and trailing, and boy, that's going to be an empty netter hanging around,
03:05waiting to be scored, which could be enough to get us up and over this total.
03:10I think the Ducks need to score and score often if they're going to beat the Knights.
03:15I don't like the Ducks in a low-scoring game.
03:18So I'm going to look at the over here, over six.
03:21I don't think we get back-to-back, you know, low-scoring games in this series.
03:27Thursday, people, rising and grinding on the early, rising and grinding, I should say, on the early line.
03:31That's what you do.
03:31And now Prediction Markets Edge brings that information that you need to know
03:35to maybe a different way to invest and cash in.
03:38We talk player props.
03:39We talk straight-up angles.
03:40We talk taking the points.
03:42Things that you need to know delivered directly to you.
03:44Donnie Wright said, and Joe Ranieri, Calci, Polymarket.
03:47We get down all over the place, Joe.
03:49We do.
03:51Yeah, we really do, Donnie.
03:53We got a little something for everybody as we have a night off from the NBA.
03:57But we have huge opportunities for the Dawgs.
04:02If you think either Detroit or Minnesota can get this to a Game 7,
04:06there are some great markets available right now that you can double down in.
04:12Exactly.
04:13Now, Joe, some of the best advice that I used to like to give out to people.
04:15They'll say, you know what, how do you handle sports gambling and handicapping
04:18in the predictive markets?
04:19And it's simple.
04:20It's really hard just to win one game.
04:22So enjoy that.
04:23Which means, if you want to take the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys
04:26and go, all right, I'm going to take the Eagles minus three and a half.
04:28Woo, nice.
04:29Won that.
04:30But I lost the over, and I lost two player props here.
04:32I said, why are you talking about that, Donnie?
04:34That sounds like a parlay.
04:35From Sportico, Joe, how about this tweet?
04:37People have lost more than $100 million placing parlay bets from Cal State's retail app
04:44and website this year, Joe.
04:47It seems, hey, man, $10 bet.
04:49Win six different ways.
04:50Get back $600.
04:51Ooh, that's a lot of fun.
04:52Until you realize, like, wait a second, man.
04:54I've got to win six games in order to cash this ticket in.
04:57Just pick the one game out, Joe.
04:58Parlays, that lottery ticket, that seemed like a lot of fun.
05:01Hard to cash in.
05:03And these predictive markets here, they love the fact that you love parlays, don't they?
05:07Yeah.
05:07Well, I mean, you know, the predictive markets have figured out what the sports books figured
05:11out a long time ago.
05:13Boy, everyone loves, nobody wants to grind it out slow and steady.
05:18Everybody wants to hit a home run every bet, except, yeah, at the end of the day, when
05:23you add it all up, it's like, you know, don't show up at the roulette table that has one
05:30zero, double zero, and triple zeros on it, because, yeah, you don't have a good show.
05:36The edge is not with you, Donnie.
05:39By the way, real quick side point.
05:41How do casinos get away with zero, double zero, and triple?
05:44I mean, it's almost like saying, like, hey, we're just going to steal your money.
05:47Where blackjack used to be very profitable when you got it.
05:50Now it's like, we're barely going to pay you on that one as well.
05:52Come on, people.
05:53Stand together.
05:54Stop taking the parlays here.
05:55But, Joe, do you want to take a parlay?
05:57That's certainly up to you.
05:58Let's get to the Kelsey Marketplace and talk a little NHL action in the series that I've
06:02been enjoying, just like the rest of the nation.
06:04It's the Montreal Canadiens, and it's the Buffalo Sabres.
06:07They're even up, heading back to Buffalo tonight for a big-time game number five.
06:12Look at the Kelsey Marketplace right now live, Joe.
06:1551% Buffalo, 49% Montreal.
06:19Those are the probabilities to win that game tonight.
06:21Even, Steven, as it looks, Joe, Canadians, Sabres tonight.
06:27Listen, this has been a fun series with two fan bases that have not had a lot to be excited
06:33about over the years, Donnie, but they're going to have something to be excited about
06:37now, as the now knotted up at two apiece, going back to Buffalo.
06:42The Canadians just did this.
06:43They did it with the Tampa Bay series, where they had to go back to Tampa.
06:48They handled business there, eventually won it in seven.
06:52This is kind of uncharted territory for both of these teams, but I'll tell you what, we're
06:57seeing the total starting to creep down again at this point in the playoffs.
07:01Five and a half, Donnie, a little low for me, especially in an all-important game five.
07:07I think both of these offenses are more than capable of finding the back in the net.
07:13I like the over.
07:14I think we get six or more goals here.
07:16So if you can find, you know, five and a half to the over, maybe even team totals over,
07:22I'm all right with that.
07:24Should be a absolutely fantastic crowd in the building tonight in Buffalo.
07:29And as we like it, too, it's not a blowout situation.
07:31The NBA sees them out of 14, 15 and a half, 16 point spreads here in the playoffs, almost
07:3650-50, which brings us up to our next game.
07:38It's Vegas on the road to take on the Anaheim Ducks.
07:41If you're watching the series, Vegas has a chance to close out the Ducks tonight in Anaheim.
07:45If the Ducks can win, that would force a game seven back in Las Vegas.
07:49Look at this, Joe, on the graphic, 51-49%.
07:52Right now, live on Cal sheet, a 50-50 split on this game.
07:58Absolutely spectacular.
07:59We are anticipating an exciting game tonight, Joe.
08:02You call it.
08:03Flip that heads or tails.
08:04Who you got tonight?
08:05Golden Knights in Anaheim.
08:07Well, this was a series, Donnie.
08:09We also looked at the total originally and said, man, I don't want to sweat out a whole
08:13lot of unders in this series.
08:14And we got a pretty good one there last game.
08:173-2 is what that game ended up.
08:20And Vegas, you know, has an opportunity now to get it done.
08:25But it's not going to be easy.
08:26And you know what happens in these elimination games, especially given the fact that Vegas
08:31lost Brandon McNabb, one of their best defensemen, especially on the blue line.
08:36He's been suspended for a cheap shot that he gave one of the Anaheim forwards there in game
08:43five.
08:43So they're going to be a little shorthanded.
08:45It feels like now's the time to hammer the over.
08:48It's sitting around six, Donnie.
08:50I'd wait to see if it gets to five and a half.
08:52I doubt it will.
08:54But this feels like empty netters coming into play in this game.
08:59I think goals are coming here tonight.
09:01And especially if you are looking like from a Vegas perspective to win, Joe, let's just
09:05call this game 3-1 with five minutes left to go.
09:08You're going to see the goalie pulled.
09:10And it almost doesn't matter, Joe, unless four goals end up winding in the back of the
09:13net.
09:13You're not going to be like, OK, 3-1.
09:15Well, we let one in 4-1 with four minutes to go.
09:17Let's put the goalie back at this.
09:18It doesn't get embarrassing.
09:19No, that goalie is never going to come back out here.
09:21So you also might take a look at the puck line, which you can do on the Calci Marketplace.
09:25If Vegas wins by one and a half goals, by the way, Joe, only trading at 30 cents here
09:29to the yes, which means four to two final that Vegas does win.
09:33A $100 investment pays back $3.34.
09:36So it's almost like, yes, this game could go to overtime and he can't win by two.
09:39But if you think Vegas is going to win, they're probably going to win by two plus goals tonight.
09:42Just the way it shapes up at the end of these exhibition games, playoff games where there
09:48is no tomorrow if you lose.
09:49So just pull the goalie and however many goals happens.
09:51It just happens here.
