00:06I'm Noah, a good farmer, but not much of a boat builder. That weird contraption up there is the
00:14ark. Best I could do in a hurry. When the Lord told me to get two of every kind of
00:20bird and
00:20beast and put them in the ark, they lost no time in accepting the invitation. No sooner was the
00:27last one in, and it started to rain. Then the floods came, and we were off on the wildest and
00:35most
00:35dangerous journey you can imagine. Sometimes even I began to wonder if God had changed his mind about
00:42us. But after 40 days and 40 nights, it stopped raining, and the skies cleared. A mutinous little
00:51group, headed by the crocodile, decided to jump ship and sailed off on his back, looking for a
00:57land. They came upon a small island and were very pleased with themselves because they thought
01:03they'd found the only land on earth. In the meantime, I decided to send the dove out to find land
01:10because we were running short of food and water. The dove flew off into the distance like a brave
01:17little fellow. For hours, we searched the sky, and just when we'd about given him up, we saw him flying
01:24back. Poor little bird. He was exhausted, and I caught him just in time. But when the dove brought out
01:33a twig
01:33from an olive tree, we knew we were going to be saved. So off we went at top speed, and
01:40the little dove
01:41guided us right to the olive tree. When the ark ran aground, the animals were frightened. But then the waters
01:50began to recede, revealing the lush green top of Mount Ararat. But as for the crocodile and his friends,
01:58I guess disloyalty breeds disloyalty. Because they left him alone on the crag, feeling mighty sorry for
02:06himself. The animals were glad to get out of the ark and walk on solid ground once more.
02:15But then they began to worry. God might do this again. But at that moment, a beautiful rainbow
02:23appeared in the sky. God's promise that we'd never have another flood. It looked as though all our
02:32troubles were over. My job was ended. But wait till you see what's happened to us all.
02:51Hmm. Look at these juicy plums. Mmm. You ought to try the graves. Delicious. I've eaten so much,
03:02much. I'm about to bust.
03:05Mmm.
03:12You've got some nerve. Too fat and lazy to pick your own?
03:18Really, my dear, the only problem with living in the ark all these months is having to mingle
03:24with the common herd, so to speak. Well, in some ways she's right, my dear. All this eating
03:32and no exercise, we're all getting somewhat poorly. We should be thinking about leaving the ark.
03:42Leave the ark? You're being absurd. He's right, you know. The reason God saved us all was so that
03:49we'd spread out around the world and repopulate the earth. There you go again. Sticking your nose
03:56into other people's business. We like it here. Yeah. We never had it so good. Sleeping on soft straw
04:05instead of snow drifts. And parties every night. It's, uh, Arcadia. You mean Arcadia, don't you, my dear?
04:17Who would ever leave a paradise like this? Everything we hoped for that the old world missed. Don't know that
04:27it's here.
04:27We're here to sing. Cause Arcadia. Cause Arcadia. Came our way. Came our way.
04:39Don't have to dream no more about the things we need. No political parties cause there's no what to lead.
04:48We just do what we want. Party on our own time. In Arcadia. In Arcadia. Everything's fine. Everything's fine.
05:03I still disagree. And I heartily agree with your disagreement, old sport. But I think we...
05:13Hey, the man upstairs wants to see us right away. On the double, as they say. And for heaven's sake,
05:19old boy, try not to trip on the stairs. Ow! Sorry about that.
05:29Have, uh, have you heard of a new theory that some animals are more accident-prone than others?
05:37Heh, heh. Well, I'd say that if it was a contest, the line would win. Feed up.
05:47Thank you for coming, my friends. You seem to be the only animals who understand why God spared everybody aboard
05:55the ark.
05:55Well, sure do, Captain Noah. And just as soon as we winter animals finish our raft,
06:02we're gonna hightail it back up north to repopulate the pool.
06:11Me too. I wanna help too.
06:14I see.
06:16There is one thing that needs doing before you leave the ark. When God promised to repopulate the earth,
06:23he said that he would do it with every living creature. And that includes Brother Crocodile.
06:31Not the croc. Why, he's a plain, ornery old maverick.
06:36Nevertheless, I want him to come back to the ark.
06:41I'd be glad to do it, but, uh, uh, we aren't on speaking terms.
06:47Well, I don't like the croc any more than you do, but he is one of God's creatures.
06:56I'll try to get him to come back.
06:58Thank you, Lion. We'd all appreciate it.
07:02Don't worry, Captain Noah. I won't let you down.
07:15Turtle! Turtle!
07:17Take me to the croc's crag.
07:20The croc's crag? Not me.
07:23I'm off the duty as of this minute.
07:25A croc's crag.
07:28Noah's orders.
07:30Why didn't you say so?
07:38Oh, crocodile!
07:48Noah wants you to come back to the ark!
07:53Tell Noah I want to be alone.
07:59Is that your final word?
08:02No. This is.
08:12Noah told me to tell you.
08:17And it's very important.
08:22Noah must be in some kind of trouble, or he wouldn't want me to come back.
08:26But I'll never do it, because I'm a loner.
08:30I'm the king of the crocs, and I live on these rocks.
08:35I'm as happy and strong, and I get along. Here's why.
08:39I crave my own crag. I don't need a flag, not me.
08:44Don't need anyone. I'm my own fun, you see.
08:48I'm a loner who has everything I'll ever need to survive,
08:53because I get along with me, myself, and I.
09:00Ho, ho, ho, your lady who?
09:03Found and gave the whole night through.
09:05Ho, ho, ho, your lady who?
09:08Nothing's ever really gonna worry me.
09:10Ho, ho, ho, your lady who?
09:12Dreams and wishes all come true.
09:15Ho, ho, ho, your lady who?
09:17Everybody come along and dance with me.
09:27Oh, when is this thing gonna break up?
09:30I'll have to get up early tomorrow and quick on the wreck.
09:39If they put all that energy into leaving the ark,
09:42we'd have the whole earth repopulated by next Tuesday.
09:46Spoilspart, wet blanket, you're only saying that because you can't dance.
09:51I can too dance. I'm a, I'm a, I'm a great dancer.
09:55I'll show ya.
10:01Daddy was a hooper even though he had a paw.
10:06He taught me how to sing and dance and float across the floor.
10:10And though it's been quite some time, I remember the old routines.
10:15Like the old soft paw, they scream for more.
10:18Oh, how the audience fiend.
10:30It's the crock.
10:35So, what are y'all looking at?
10:38I'm back.
10:44My friends, I'm glad to see we're all here.
10:48Uh, you wanted to see me about something, Captain Noah?
10:52I wanted to see all of you.
10:54I wish to remind you that my mission was to build an ark and take you through the great flood.
11:02My job is finished.
11:04Now your mission is to leave this ark and repopulate the earth.
11:11You, you mean you're not going with us?
11:14But then, who's gonna help us out there?
11:17He'll be there when you need him.
11:20If you need him, just you pray.
11:23He'll be there if you need him any time to guide your way.
11:28But your way must be started and traveled by yourselves, cause God helps those who help themselves.
11:55Well, fine, Captain Noah, but who's gonna lead us?
12:07Who's gonna be the king of the beasts?
12:09Just as God told me to build the ark, he will show you who your king should be.
12:16Um, how's he gonna do that?
12:18God works in mysterious ways.
12:24There's nothing mysterious about it.
12:26I'll tell you who the king should be.
12:29Me, cause I can handle it.
12:32I got no other responsibilities.
12:34You all have families, or you're expecting.
12:38But I'm a loner, a bachelor who can spend all his time carrying the burdens of office,
12:45grappling with the Cares estate, meeting my responsibilities.
12:49Now hear this.
12:51Now hear this.
12:53Will Brother Crocodile come to my office immediately?
12:57There, you see.
12:59Noah needs me for some advice.
13:02Lucky for him, I'm back.
13:06Now what can I do for you, Captain Noah?
13:09You got some kind of a problem?
13:11I did have.
13:12When you came aboard without a lady crocodile, I was worried.
13:17But the Lord provided the answer.
13:21These are yours.
13:23What do you mean, mine?
13:25I got no time for a family.
13:29I'm gonna have too many responsibilities being king of the beasts.
13:33If you can't handle the problems of fatherhood,
13:37why should we believe that you'd make a good king?
13:40Think it over, friend.
13:43Oh, I've been framed.
13:45What am I gonna do?
13:46I gotta get rid of these things fast.
13:54Mama, mama, here we are.
13:58Shut up.
13:59I'm not your mama, and I'm not gonna be your papa either.
14:03I'm gonna be king of the beasts.
14:13You're supposed to put us to sleep like a good mama.
14:17Now that's a good idea.
14:20You kids have a nice, long sleep.
14:23Because I need time to think.
14:25How am I gonna get to be king of the beasts
14:27before somebody finds out about this mess?
14:30What?
14:32What?
14:33Mama?
14:34What's the matter now?
14:36You forgot the kisses goodnight.
14:40I never kissed anybody in my life, and I ain't about to start now.
14:45What?
14:47All right, all right.
14:49Anything to keep you brats quiet.
14:55Now, go to sleep.
14:57Well?
15:01Now, what?
15:03You got fishing us a lullaby, mama.
15:06I told you.
15:07I'm not your mama.
15:08I'm your papa.
15:10What am I saying?
15:12Okay.
15:13Ugh.
15:14Lullaby.
15:16Come on, team.
15:17Now tip the scale.
15:19Give them that good old crocodile tail.
15:23In the right, in the left, in the head, in the shin, fight, fight, fight, a win, win, win.
15:31Wah!
15:34What's the matter now?
15:35That's not a lullaby.
15:38What do you mean it's not a lullaby?
15:40This is a lullaby.
15:43There will be a new day for me.
15:47Live and play in a new day to be.
15:53Tomorrow will open our sleepy eyes.
15:58In a new way, there's a new day to see.
16:03It's so wonderful to be myself.
16:08It's so wonderful to be just me.
16:13There will be a new chance to try.
16:18There will be a question to ask why.
16:23Tomorrow will open our sleepy eyes.
16:28In a new way, there's a new day for me, my son, and my mother.
16:43I must have dozed off.
17:01So, the croc's back.
17:04Who needs him?
17:06Nobody!
17:07I quite agree.
17:10For let me say, with all due modesty,
17:13that I'm the best qualified to be the king of the beasts.
17:17To begin with, I'm very strong.
17:19I shall put this great strength at the service of society.
17:26High society.
17:28And I may even say, the upper crust.
17:32In this world of reform, some must take the platform.
17:40Give the poor a dream to dream in.
17:44Speak so it has a clearer meaning.
17:48In this world of chaos, some must take the dais.
17:54In this world of chaos, I'm a leader born to be.
17:59Nothing's too big or small for me.
18:07That just doesn't seem right to me.
18:11A king of the beasts who's for the few and not the many?
18:16Yeah.
18:17How about me, for instance?
18:19A mouse!
18:20Don't let him get me.
18:22Help me.
18:23Save me.
18:24A mouse!
18:25If you're going to choose that windbag as king of the beasts,
18:29I'm resigning from the animal kingdom.
18:32I say we go and see Polar Bear.
18:35He should be the king of the beasts.
18:38Hooray!
18:41Wake up!
18:42Wake up!
18:45What is it?
18:46We think you ought to be king of the beasts.
18:50Hold on there.
18:52I don't want to be king.
18:53I'm strictly a working bear.
18:57I have the world in the palm of my hand
19:02Cause my hand will build my world
19:06I'm the Polar Tariot who gets things done
19:11And accomplishment is my kingdom
19:17Working, building a kingdom in the snow
19:21Is the only kingdom that I need to know
19:30I guess our polar bear draft is gone with the wind
19:35The time has come
19:39The walrus said
19:44Step right up, folks
19:46Get your free Gatorade
19:48Enjoy a real old-fashioned torchlight rally
19:52I'll tell you what I'm gonna do
19:55Yeah, tell us
19:56It's three o'clock in the morning
19:59Everybody is asleep but us
20:01Thank you, friend
20:02I couldn't have said it better myself
20:04My message to you is this
20:06When I'm king of the beasts
20:08You don't have to leave this ark
20:11You've got a home
20:12Here in perpetuity
20:17In perpetuity
20:18In perpetuity
20:20Cause who wants to set the world on fire
20:23You don't want to set the world on fire
20:25I don't want to set the world on fire
20:43Now hear this
20:47The ark is on fire
20:53Prepare to abandon ship
21:04Something must have happened to Noah
21:10Look, the fire's locked the door
21:12Oh, who's going to help us now?
21:16We're going to help ourselves
21:20Rhino, we need you to batter us a hole
21:22Aye, aye, sir
21:38Giraffe, make the ladder
21:49I'll save Noah
22:05Where, where am I?
22:08You're safe, Captain Noah
22:09Everyone's safe now
22:11No, no
22:13My babies are still in there
22:15Your babies?
22:17We've got to save my babies
22:20We've got to save my babies
22:23Mama, mama, where are you?
22:28Help, help, save us
22:35Hold on tight
22:37You're going for a nice piggyback ride
23:00My babies, where are my babies?
23:05Come to Papa
23:07Thank God, thank God you're safe
23:11Long live the king of the beasts
23:15Long live the king
23:19Long live the king of the beasts
23:24God works in mysterious ways
23:31Well, goodbye, Captain Noah
23:33I guess you know I learned my lesson
23:36I'm glad to be back in the animal kingdom again
23:39Your majesty
23:40Bye-bye, Captain Noah
23:42Bye-bye, king
23:45Cheery-bye, Captain Noah
23:47Good show, lion
23:48I mean, your majesty
23:50I'm bound to say it
23:52You've taught me what a rare king's made of
23:56Goodbye, Captain Noah
23:58So long, your majesty
23:59If any of you ever get up to the North Pole
24:02Drop by and say hello to a fat old bear
24:05I wish you luck in starting your farm again
24:09Goodbye, Captain Noah
24:11And thanks
24:13You taught us well
24:15I'm proud of all of you
24:19Goodbye until we meet again
24:23You've been a man who's been a friend
24:28You've helped us learn to understand
24:33You've saved our families and our land
24:38You kids are gonna love being prince and princess of the Nile
24:43Cheerio, mama
24:45Don't call me mama
24:53He'll be there when you need him
24:56If you need him, just you pray
24:58He'll be there if you need him
25:01Anytime you've got your way
25:03But your way must be started
25:06Traveled by yourself
25:09Cause God helps those who help themselves
25:14Much of us
25:14You've got your nice
25:17Yeah, I also know
25:27You've got yourorden
25:28per se
25:28It's all good
25:28You notice
