00:00I think it was pretty easy to predict here how this was ultimately going to go.
00:05And I am always pleasantly surprised when something actually goes right for the Philadelphia 76ers.
00:12Bag it, Daryl Morey.
00:13Something had to happen because it wasn't just a Knicks sweep, which is bad enough.
00:19It was the Knicks going into Philly and stealing the soul here.
00:24Stealing the soul of the Philadelphia 76ers.
00:28When you look at all the fans and you look at all the ass kickings and the lopsided scores,
00:34something needed to happen.
00:36Daryl Morey, to me, has always been a myth.
00:40The most overrated executive in the history of the NBA.
00:45I thought that he was, you know, frankly, and he had a lot of water carriers in the press in
00:51Houston.
00:52I was always a bunch of noise and a bunch of nonsense.
00:56And then he goes to Philadelphia, and the first thing that he does is he trades for James Harden.
01:02He knew the Harden story from Houston.
01:04A tremendous player, but he's a handful.
01:06He can't win with them.
01:07And he traded for them.
01:08And that was a whole mess.
01:09And Harden called him a liar.
01:11And would he get the extension?
01:13And Morey wouldn't give it to him.
01:14You made a deal with the devil that you knew.
01:16People say, oh, the devil you know is better than the devil you don't.
01:18In this case, Harden was the literal devil here for Daryl Morey.
01:22And I blame Morey for looking at it and saying, this is going to be different somehow in Philadelphia.
