00:00We were all there last year. Forget the crazy circus shot Tyrese Halliburton made.
00:05And remember the fact they were up 14 with or 12 with two and a half minutes to go.
00:10This collection of Knicks teams don't blow leads like that very often.
00:14And that's what I keep going back to. They just close out that game, which I'm sure at one point
00:21they probably had a 98% win probability, about higher.
00:24You close out that game, I think they win that series. Because not only does it precede a pace by
00:30winning the games at home and you have game seven at home, if you need it, part of what I
00:34think dogged the Knicks the rest of the series is, oh my God, how is a team going to overcome
00:38that game?
00:39By rights, I think they should have won last year's series, if not for the crazy events of game one.
00:44I don't know if you can project what happened to the Pacers onto the Knicks.
00:47The Pacers did come within 24 minutes of beating the Thunder for the championship last year.
00:51I think we underrate what last year's team not only did, but what they could have done.
00:56And I think those players had those same expectations last year and were bitterly disappointed.
01:01So I think it's the same level, maybe a little more only because they want to get to the finals.
01:07And that's something the Knicks haven't done since 1999.
