00:27We covered some of this in our recent content review, but here we will dig deeper and even showcase some
00:33potential builds.
00:37Most of the Ascendancy-Klasse is devoted to three aspects of the Spirit.
00:41Vivid, Primal, and Wild.
00:46The Vivid Path conjures Stampeding stags when you attack.
00:52Vivid Stampede gives you extra damage, area coverage, and shocking capabilities.
00:59If you want to really focus on the stags, the Morrigan's Guidance lets you create even more stampedes with even
01:06more damage, trampling your enemies into dust.
01:10The Primal Path, meanwhile, is all about projectiles.
01:18The Owl grants you boons, in the form of their feathers, which can be spent to add extra projectiles to
01:24your next skill.
01:27If you'd rather unleash the occasional barrage, the Mucker's Gift lets you store up and use multiple feathers at once.
01:38And if you're really keen, the Owl Feathers work on spells too.
01:44For those who prefer their animal companions to be more literal, summon a Wild Protector to give your enemies a
01:51bear hug they won't soon forget.
01:53The Bear is a powerful companion in its own right, and can also provide significant utility.
02:00Breaking enemy armor, maiming enemies, violent intimidating roars,
02:06and keeping itself fit to fight with its large health pool and life leech.
02:13Best of all, the Bear doesn't even take up your companion slot, so you can keep your tame beast alongside
02:19you too.
02:21The Karthas' Balance skill can take your companion's damage one step further by giving them extra damage based on your
02:28weapon.
02:30Spirit walkers who master all three aspects of the spirit may attract the favor of the elusive Sacred Wisps.
02:38The Sacred Unity passive is free.
02:41It provides enhancements to all three skills.
02:44The Stags seek out enemies and can turn mid-stampede.
02:49Owl Feather-empowered skills create a new type of ground effect.
02:53And the Bear protects allies near it.
02:57Taking this node also causes all three skills to change appearance to reflect their Sacred Empowerment.
03:05The Spirit Walker has a couple of tricks up her sleeve outside of Animal Spirit.
03:13Idolatry provides massive bonuses to more minion-focused builds.
03:18And last, but definitely not least, the Natural Order passive grants Tame Beasts the ability to tame bosses.
03:28Yep, all of these.
03:31It probably won't come as a surprise to hear that these bosses can cut through packs and bring the pain
03:37to their former friends.
03:39If you'd like the look of the Spirit Walker, but need some further inspiration for what to do with her,
03:44we've put together a couple of end-game builds to give you ideas.
03:48Kindly made by some of our developers.
03:51First up, we have the Stormbringer.
03:55We have a standard-looking Twister build, Dialed to 11,
03:59where we utilize Whirling Slash and Barrage to unleash Twisters to devastate our enemies.
04:05We will use a combination of Barrage and our new, notable, Primal Bounty
04:09to create so many Twisters, it more resembles a full Cyclone.
04:15Allocating Wild Protector, Primal Bounty, and Vivid Stampede
04:19will unlock a notable that empowers all three,
04:22giving them more utilities and features.
04:27Thanks to Primal Bounty and the Mukka's Gift,
04:30we generate a Primal Owl Feather every few seconds,
04:33that will be used when we Dodge Roll to empower our next projectile attack,
04:38firing more Twisters and increasing their speed.
04:42But now, we want to start to empower our Wind Ruckus with the elements,
04:46gaining significantly more damage.
04:49To do that, we take Vivid Stampede,
04:51which grants us a Vivid Wisp every 10 meters we travel,
04:55which we can do faster by following our soaring ground.
05:00And then, we expend those Wisps to unleash a Stampede of Stag Spirits.
05:06Not only do they help kill enemies, they also create shock ground.
05:13There you have it.
05:14All that combined, we have our Storm Brinkers.
05:19And for our second build today, we have the Zookeeper.
05:23This build is for those who prefer to sit back and let your animal army do all the work.
05:27The Spirit Walker has enlisted the entire Zoo to fight on her behalf,
05:32with a whopping 6 Companion Skills active.
05:35This is thanks to Sylvan's Effigy,
05:38a new unique Scepter coming in Return of the Ancients
05:41that completely removes the Companion Cap,
05:43and also gives us a big bad Alpha Wolf that buffs all our other Companions.
05:50We've also got a pack of Regular Wolves,
05:53three different Tame Beasts,
05:55including the Mighty Silver Fist,
05:57and our Trusty Bear,
05:59with our last bits of Spirit used on some Skeletal Clerics
06:03to keep everyone healthy.
06:06All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show,
06:09and maybe remind your Alpha Wolf to summon its Spirit Friends every once in a while.
06:14This might be a good time to mention that Companion Damage
06:17has been buffed across the board.
06:20This build squeezes maximum value out of Spirit Walker's Idolatry node,
06:25even wearing Darkness Enthroned to equip more items.
06:29Finally, we're going all the way to the Karthas Balance
06:33and wielding a Juicy Spear to grant our Companions a lot of damage.
06:41So, are you ready to embrace the full power of the Spirit?
06:45You can do just that on May 29th,
06:48when Return of the Ancients releases.
06:50Thanks for watching, and see you all at launch.
06:53Let's run full charge.
