00:07Welcome to MojoPlays and today we're looking at only the stuff we can say will definitely happen.
00:13No, I'm not talking about global politics or stuff that matters. I'm talking about GTA.
00:17These are 10 things that are 99% confirmed for GTA 6. Let's go.
00:22Before we continue, we publish content all week long, so be sure to subscribe and ring the bell
00:28to get notified of our latest videos. Release Date
00:31What you doing up there? I'm just fixing some leaks.
00:35The wait for GTA 6 got stretched out again, but at least this time it comes with a firm date
00:40attached.
00:41God, I wish I hadn't used the term stretched out.
00:43Rockstar Games confirmed the game is now set to land on November 19th, 2026,
00:49after previously aiming for May 2026 and even earlier, a vague 2025 window.
00:53In their announcement, Rockstar basically said,
00:56Look, we know you've been waiting forever, but we need more time to get it right,
00:59which is fair, even if it hurts. Still fair. Hurry up though.
01:03The upside is that this isn't another coming soon situation, it's an actual date that you can circle,
01:08which I have, in permanent ink. Don't mess with me, Rockstar.
01:14Protagonists
01:18Grand Theft Auto 6 looks like it's leaning hard into a dual protagonist setup, with Jason and Lucia taking center
01:24stage,
01:25basically a modern Bonnie and Clyde with a Rockstar twist.
01:28Jason's got a military background, which explains why he handles combat like it's second nature,
01:32while Lucia's upbringing in Liberty City gives it that scrappy, learn-to-the-hard-way edge.
01:36Around them, you'll run into a pretty stacked cast of side characters, all with their own flavor.
01:41Gameplay-wise, both leads have their own spin-off on slow-motion abilities.
01:45Jason's highlights enemies' weak points in a style similar to RDR's Deadshot,
01:49while Lucia's is a more focused and precise single shot.
01:52There's also a more dynamic interaction system letting you respond to situations on the fly,
01:56with options like greeting, threatening, or just going straight for the robbery.
02:03GTA 6 Online
02:04With Grand Theft Auto Online, Rockstar Games is looking to bring the heart of the Grand Theft Auto experience
02:10to a living online world with multiple players.
02:14Grand Theft Auto 6 isn't just bringing a new story and protagonists,
02:17it's expected to hit reset on the online side too.
02:20Early signs point to a fresh version of GTA Online's set in Leonida.
02:24Don't expect to carry over your empire from the last game.
02:27The idea seems to be a full, clean slate.
02:30No old characters, no stacked bank accounts, none of the chaos from years of updates.
02:35And honestly, it makes sense.
02:36The current online world got pretty out of control, with inflated economies and over-the-top gear.
02:40I'm cautious to include this, as it's probably the only entry that's more like 80% confirmed,
02:46but I gotta bring it up, come on.
02:47After you fly into Los Santos,
02:49you're introduced to the world and its many opportunities for earning and spending money.
02:54Weapons and combat
02:58Sorry, no need to beat up on your average.
03:00Grand Theft Auto 6 looks like it's reworking combat and inventory in a big way,
03:05making things feel a bit more grounded and hands-on.
03:08The weapon wheel isn't just for guns anymore, you can cycle through gear and equipment as well,
03:12meaning stuff like binoculars, armor, medic kits, even food, all sit alongside your weapons.
03:18There's clear indications that GTA 6 is taking inspiration from RDR2, and we couldn't be happier about it.
03:24There's also hints of new mechanics, like tools for braking into high-end cars,
03:28which sounds like it'll involve a proper minigame instead of just press button, car is yours.
03:33Carry limits are tighter as well, more in line with RDR2, so heavier weapons stay in your vehicle,
03:37instead of magically appearing.
03:39On top of that, combat's been expanded, better melee, grabbing hostages,
03:43moving bodies, even switching hands while aiming. I am so excited for this game.
03:53The only way we're gonna get through this is by sticking together.
03:59From what Rockstar's shown so far, Grand Theft Auto 6 is shaping up to be a pretty intense ride.
04:05With Jason and Lucia leading the story, it's clear they're not exactly winning at life.
04:09Right from the start, it's that everything's stacked against you kind of situation.
04:13What's meant to be a simple score quickly goes sideways, and suddenly,
04:17they're dragged into something way bigger than they bargained for.
04:20We're talking about a full-blown conspiracy stretching across Leonida.
04:24The big hook seems to be their partnership. If they don't trust each other and work together,
04:28they're done. So, yeah, in a tense romantic environment, expect things to spiral fast.
04:33The new beginnings.
04:38Wildlife.
04:44RDR2 taught us one thing. Hunting can actually be really fun, pushing it way further than GTA 5 ever did.
04:52Grand Theft Auto 6 looks like it'll really lean into making its world feel alive.
04:56Like, properly alive, not just NPCs walking in circles.
04:59The wildlife alone is kinda ridiculous, with everything from alligators and sharks,
05:04to flamingos and even jaguars roaming around.
05:07It's not just for show, either. Since you can dive underwater and actually explore,
05:10you'll be hunting for hidden loot. On top of that, there are small details that add way more
05:14immersion than you'd expect. Characters wear working watches to track in-game time,
05:18and there's a cinematic camera mode similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 that makes everything look
05:22like a movie. I can't wait to hunt the chupacabra in cinematic mode.
05:26Ah, down you go.
05:29Graphics and world details.
05:34GTA 6 is going all in on realism, and it's the little details doing the heavy lifting.
05:39The lighting system has had a serious upgrade, with ray tracing making everything from sunlight
05:44to reflections look way more natural, like the world actually reacts to its environment.
05:49Characters feel less static, too. Hair and beards grow over time, clothes move with the wind,
05:54instead of sticking to their player-like cardboard, and even individual strands of hair behave realistically.
06:00It's the kind of stuff you don't always notice at first, but once you do, it'll be hard to go
06:04back.
06:05Basically, everything just feels more alive, except anyone that crosses my path.
06:14Vehicles.
06:21Vehicles in GTA 6 look like they're getting a serious glow up, not just in numbers, but in detail.
06:27There's reportedly over 200 options to mess around with cars, bikes, boats, planes, the whole lot.
06:32And instead of just stealing everything, you can actually buy them from dealerships across the map.
06:37But the real upgrade is inside the vehicles.
06:40Interiors aren't just decoration anymore, they're fully interactive, with working dashboards,
06:45mirrors that reflect what's actually behind you, and even little touches,
06:48like moving pedals and adjusting steering wheels.
06:51I play in third-person, so I couldn't give a f**k if the steering wheel's in the back seat.
06:55Still, very neat.
06:57Hey, that rhymed.
07:02Confirmed side activities.
07:04We got this.
07:05We got it.
07:05Grand Theft Auto 6 isn't just about missions, it looks like the game is basically turning into
07:09a full-on life simulator with how much stuff there is to do.
07:12Outside of the main story, you've got a ridiculous range of activities to mess around with.
07:17You can hit the gym, throw hands in boxing or MMA, chill out fishing or hunting,
07:21or just waste time playing pool and mini golf like you've got nothing better to do.
07:25Then there's all the water stuff, diving, kayaking, jet skis,
07:28plus dirt bike racing if you feel like sending it.
07:31Hate that I said that.
07:32And of course, it wouldn't be GTA without nightlife, so drinking, clubbing,
07:36and even just watching TV are all on the table.
07:38There's even things like community service, which feels suspiciously responsible.
07:43I'm definitely going to community service just to mess with the officer in charge.
07:46You might have.
07:53Hey.
07:54The World.
08:00This game is going to be big, like really big, with its version of Florida known as Leonida.
08:06The map is rumoured to be nearly double the size of GTA 5, and you're getting a whole spread of
08:12regions. There's Vice City front and centre, plus swampy areas like the grass rivers, island chains in
08:18the Keys, smaller towns, and even a full national park. It's not just scale either. As we've discussed,
08:24the world is way more interactive. Over 700 locations are said to be enterable,
08:29with restaurants and pawn shops, malls and skyscrapers. This is a massive jump from previous
08:35games. And it doesn't stop at launch either, since Rockstar is planning to expand the map
08:39over time with new areas and new missions. I am so ready for this game, I could poop.
