A year after a fatal accident that killed nine Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnel near Teluk Intan in Perak, Bukit Aman says enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) has been tightened to prevent a similar tragedy.

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail said stronger enforcement of protocols, especially for large convoys, had been implemented following the May 13 accident last year.
