00:00Let's talk bad bosses, because we've all been there. Well, actually, I kind of take that back
00:04because I don't know if any one of us have had it this bad. A Reddit user shared that their
00:08boss
00:08wouldn't let them take off because other teammates took leave at the same time. Okay, annoying, yes,
00:13but I kind of get it, and it's pretty common. However, this person needed off for their dad's
00:19memorial service. Now, the employer went so far as to reportedly suggest that the service be
00:26rescheduled, and they were, pardon the pun, dead serious. The grieving worker posted to the online
00:32forum to let off some steam after their boss made the oh-so-insensitive suggestion. The original
00:37poster said that they submitted for two weeks off shortly after their dad's passing. They explained
00:42that they needed the time for not just memorial, but for legal and court issues surrounding the
00:46death, as well as to clean out dad's house. They then posted the bad boss's response, which reads
00:52in part, quote, please, can you consider limiting your time off during the window of last week of
00:58June through the first week of July to only a week and possibly take the second week off later?
01:03When you were out last year around the same time, it was an undue stress on the team.
01:09Okay, now it should come as no surprise there that the online mob sided with the worker and not the
01:16boss. Some even called the boss unprofessional, and others used choice language, like, and I quote,
01:21F any company who can't see, we are people outside of work.
