00:00Hey there tribe! Welcome to this beautiful scenery here in Las Vegas, Nevada
00:04where we're having the very first Polar Tensor live get-together and I have the
00:09great privilege and honor of bringing you someone that we met on Zoom virtually
00:13live in person to have a sit-down conversation about the future of an
00:18opportunity that could be one of the shining stars in not just our portfolio
00:22but in the industry and this man right here is the guy that is going to give us
00:28the deeper understandings the vision of what he's creating as well as the
00:32insights that we're looking for to make a decision for ourselves so with that
00:36thank you Felix for coming here in person to meet with all of us the very first
00:41question that I have is are you real are you AI as many people ask I guess the way
00:46I sit here and make the conversation with you yes I am real yes that's why I had to
00:50shake his hand but Felix thank you and for anyone that's meeting you for the
00:55first time a little brief background about your life and your journey into how
01:01you got to this position right here because we heard the deeper long story
01:05but just for someone that's seeing you for the first time what is your
01:09background of getting into this seat as the owner of Polar from starting out as I
01:15believe you were a finance yes I that was my first job in Germany I was working in a
01:21small German private bank I was working there for six seven maybe eight years
01:25okay and then I opened my own company in Germany in the consultant area but then I
01:32decided 2001 that I want to see more from the world and I went 2001 already to
01:38Shanghai Shanghai which is you're stationed out of Hong Kong now and now I'm stationed
01:43in Hong Kong yes but as well people who know Asia and who know Shanghai Shanghai 2001 and
01:492024 it's a completely different city it's like pre Dubai before Dubai yes yes 10 years I'm in
01:57Hong Kong I'm stationed in Hong Kong what are you doing there primarily there I was working for a
02:01big inman expert company yes who bought and sold commodities you did something in logistics yes
02:07and did you create an algorithm for that company about optimizing logistics something like that
02:12absolutely indeed yes that gave me some insights about how you got to optimizing algorithms for
02:19the fintech world did that kind of help in creating the foundation of you figuring out the algorithms
02:26could be optimized and that you had a strength in that field how did you go from optimizing logistics
02:34and algorithms for like import export to fintech I I like to say that was a seed knowledge okay for
02:41my
02:42polar tensor later what I gathered what I learned during this employment time yes I programmed AI for
02:49supply chain management supply chain optimizations warehousing everything would come there together on
02:54information and then later I stumbled over cryptos and then I put these both things together that's
03:00amazing now let's dive into we see that you have a credible background that leads you into how you got
03:08to
03:08where you are you you said you worked at a bank yes what was your role at the bank there
03:13I was working
03:14in the ship financing department oh so you should be the finance although actually it's something else but
03:18at least I had a solid background yeah like this in Germany we say Ausbildung this you don't have in
03:23other countries it's like it's three years intrapreneursing in a in a in a bank where you learn everything
03:29from yeah from a to z inside a bank then you get a kind of degree at the end that
03:34you are a certified bank oh wow person and
03:37then you know you go over and work a fit normal you know you have the pieces that make sense
03:44of how
03:44you got to where you are you were saying that the seeds of polar tensor because being in finance being
03:51around algorithms and and figuring out how to combine those first and foremost what is the meaning
03:58behind behind the name polar tensor and what is the big umbrella of many I guess branches of I think
04:06the the polar foundation yeah polar yeah okay polar actually it comes from the word polar star
04:13yeah is you know leading us since ancient times through dark and difficult times and this kind of
04:20symbol I wanted to think oh you know the polar star the brightest star on the planet I think in
04:25the
04:26western hemisphere what we always see in the north yeah you know and this this is a word where I
04:32then
04:32make this creation around and tensor I think as far as I know it correctly it's a multi-dimensional
04:38containment inside the AI system okay I know it's a very technical term tensor there yeah yeah I tried
04:44looking it up that's what I wanted to ask if it had polar sorry polar has a big advantage it's
04:50in Spanish
04:51Italian French German it's we all can pronounce oh yeah polar is an easy word for every language outside
04:57of the name what was the first version of polar that that was an algorithm that you start to use
05:04for
05:04yourself yes how did it get to like what was the baby step what was the first time where you
05:10felt
05:11like you had something that was working that a you were comfortable using yourself and then b you
05:16wanted to open it up okay maybe I I answer your question in a different way why I wanted to
05:23do
05:23that I have seen that emotions in professional tradings are a mistake yeah you know fear greed all these
05:31things what we know from from us when we trade we are anger angry about something and I wanted to
05:36take
05:37this feeling out of the equation and let only data speak and therefore I said okay try to build a
05:42a bot first only something what helps me to make the right decision when and when to buy and when
05:50to
05:50sell maybe as a personal use you know for me only privately you know in a small house in my
05:55house I
05:56wanted to you know have some support for this because crypto is yeah it's big it's fast it's global and
06:02difficult to grasp it actually because so many information go inside and that is the way it yeah
06:09this was this was a starting point and then I could they are not foresee that polar tender will come
06:15out later but over step by step the little baby started to walk you speak of something that I think
06:24all traders have faced which is emotions getting in the way of a set of rules you set for yourself
06:31that
06:31if the Bollinger bands are like this or whatever EA or whatever the parameters are that I will only trade
06:38within these parameters and even then when you see yourself at a loss when you see maybe greed
06:44kicks in or you're trying to revenge trade or all these things the rules go out the window and then
06:49emotions take over and so I can understand trying to solve this for yourself to say only trade within
06:55this I'm gonna take myself out of the equation because I'm a human with blood pressure and heart rate
07:02and adrenaline and and let the algorithm just do its thing and so how did you develop the first version
07:09of the algorithm and is it a evolving algorithm or I believe it started four years ago no actually let's
07:16say like this 2018 things get more serious oh wow so that's already now eight years ago I employed people
07:23to finalize my first AI system which we then implemented with FTX 2020 of course we all know
07:31my the story in November 2022 I opened my laptop FTX was gone so yeah you know option was not
07:40a failure
07:40yeah yeah yeah I like to say that yeah then I decided that we want to work with Binance together
07:45what
07:46was the biggest crypto exchange with the highest liquidity yeah and then we improved our software again
07:51and we put all these little expert agents inside before we had a different system and the diff the
07:56expert agent give a signal to the main AI buy or don't buy we implemented then and then we we
08:03started
08:04everything in April 24 April 24 with Binance 20 2000 24 two years ago now okay two years ago then
08:14a
08:14year later I decided hey my system runs profitable and stable that was for me after a year of testing
08:21you know then I said okay now I can open it to private investors institutional buyers and then
08:27everything came later we have to open the company apply for the license registrations yeah and now we
08:32are in the market for the affiliate since two months and two weeks wow so not that long actually yeah
08:39yeah we had our kickoff in the middle of February yeah yeah that's incredible and this is the first event
08:45here in early May a few questions about when you entered into Binance was it you mentioned you guys reinvented
08:56the
08:56algorithm made tweaks to it made improvements to it was that primarily you your team who who's we are so
09:03yeah okay I don't like to take the credit completely I always say we as a team yes yes for
09:09example yeah people in my company
09:11uh important is the infrastructure in Binance you have to get the infrastructure right and this I
09:18didn't really know how to do it how to to really get our speed up and there our DevOps guy
09:24I was in
09:25charge of the infrastructure he gave me their great input okay so a combination of people and secondly when
09:31you entered uh after FTX went down you still had some funds I believe you were withdrawing funds you know
09:37it was it was only privately that was no only company wise basically no actually it was private
09:42actually and yes luckily I uh uh withdraw some uh some funds on my hard wallet yeah this was later
09:49the
09:50seed money for Binance otherwise I could not have started it with that seed money I believe it was two
09:55million actually more because we still had to buy the BNB coins ah yes they are around three million
10:01dollar already oh wow so we needed around five better rates and and and and uh ideas uh advantages
10:08with Binance you I think you need to hold like five thousand five thousand five hundred twenty I
10:13deposit from the from the first day because we needed VIP level nine from the first day if VIP level
10:19eight is not good enough but but that wasn't involved in the trading that was just um so so I
10:25believe
10:25two million was for the trading you know um and then in 18 months I believe you grew that to
10:33over a hundred
10:33million yeah roughly is that with the same polar algorithm that we're getting access to now yes or a
10:40different one no it's the same algorithm yes may I ask how because uh you're you're averaging 22 roughly
10:46percent a month yeah aggressive compounding or how did you get to from two does the math work out to
10:54that if you just keep letting that grow over 18 months one thing yes compounding is a key word yeah
10:59we can compound every day on daily basis okay um we didn't pull out my any funds and then yes
11:06our
11:07system was running stable we had months for 10 percent and we had months with over 30 percent
11:12so in average around 20 21 any losing months no losing weeks no this I'm really this I'm really proud
11:20never a losing week yes we have losing days of course even consecutive days oh really now now
11:26the funny this is what I like the day we announced that we want to go public that was I
11:32think the 16th
11:33or 17th of February we had two consecutive losing days first two days you know no no we had this
11:39before but on the day I want to announce my baby to the public and I opened the books two
11:44times wet yeah so
11:45that was you know but anyway I I was not uh how to say anxious or nervous I know the
11:51system will
11:51return that is only in accident these two days are no it can only get better from there yeah uh
11:58my first
11:58day was actually a loss and I found it refreshing at first I thought it was a mistake I contacted
12:04the my
12:05friend who I was like is this a mistake it says negative well what's uh but then when I understood
12:10I
12:10was like oh that's really cool most companies don't show the negative they hide it they mask it they
12:15they give us a false illusion that everything's okay until it's not and so I I like when other
12:21companies speak of transparency they're they're showing the the trading but it always tends to be
12:26winning it always tends to be positive growth uh without showing us the losing days and it's really
12:33refreshing to see that um I want to wrap up with understanding where we are right now in this very
12:40first event uh and what the plan and vision is moving forward uh of a company that is just in
12:48its
12:48infancy of of getting to market um because there's so much that you guys have set up in infrastructure
12:54which is another question about like the the polar one the possible expansion of the ecosystem
13:00there seems to be a lot that is in the plans yeah I basically revealed the master plan I think
13:07last week when I announced that we open our polar exchange exchange crypto exchange and this is
13:13actually the master plan behind it that we need a community the exchange can only work when we have
13:20millions of customers we need the community that was another question of mine why did you when you found
13:26a winning algorithm move into a retail client base versus institutional or or accredited investors
13:34that could have given you tens of millions hundreds of millions of dollars but no community but no
13:39community exactly yeah so I guess having the greater vision of opening up an exchange where you you don't
13:44want just 20 people with 10 million dollars each you know I don't want to make it five institutions
13:50rich yeah exactly and I better spread it a little wider and make this over thousands and thousands of
13:55households all right Felix and therefore we have our sweet product in the market okay all right
14:00polar tensor our ai trading system polar money our online neobank yes polar exchange our crypto exchange
14:07but this will be for public in autumn not now now we are in the pre-alpha stage everything is
14:12young
14:13I only want to announce that that people can follow us yes yes they're part of the journey you know
14:18that I take the community with into my journey and then we have polar research what is our yeah I
14:24would say
14:24which is which is has to do with updating the algorithm uh polar research is let's say like
14:29it's our scientific research division uh research and development you know just stay ahead and stay
14:35innovative and see what's working in the market and who in case even public scientific papers oh wow on and
14:40so on that is something what we want to do them or maybe even give knowledge to the people that's
14:44teach people okay I want to wrap up with um where things are headed right now so this is the
14:50first event
14:51um are we looking at um are we looking at more events around the world are we looking at head
14:55offices
14:55the company events that sort of thing head offices now on one one hand yes we will be a global
15:01company or
15:02but I am not really planning to make uh regional offices or something is there going to be one
15:08the office will stay in Hong Kong Hong Kong okay so you know yes so that is um yeah great
15:14opportunity for us to uh
15:15visit Hong Kong I think in the next couple months we set up our public office and we can cater
15:21clients
15:21and uh leaders and business partners they are welcome to to visit us and meet me um offline events
15:29so yes we have the first this weekend tomorrow in Las Vegas I'm already nervous excited for me it's not
15:35normal to stay in front of a crowd of 500 or 1000 people no you're more behind the screens you
15:40can
15:40do your intelligence I let the leaders do but we make a world show in uh in Germany in Europe
15:46oh
15:46really yeah you'll be there yeah I will go from city to city Frankfurt Stuttgart Munich is confirmed
15:53Vienna then we fly over to Madrid Barcelona and Malaga will those be in native languages or English
16:01Germany it will be in German language just saying in case you have people you can possibly send it and
16:06in Spain of course we work with translators in Spanish yeah awesome awesome yeah so this has been
16:11a just a sit-down conversation with someone who is not an AI uh a real guy with a real
16:17company with
16:18real trading with real plans and I'm extremely grateful to be a part of it extremely grateful
16:24to bring you guys the information for your own assessment and due diligence and diversification should
16:29you want to participate with us on an ongoing evolving journey of something that has tremendous
16:35potential but is delivering here and now and we can start to participate as more of this entire
16:42ecosystem comes online and we can say we were part of it in these early stages from the very first
16:49event
16:49very first in-person sit down to hopefully meeting Felix all over the world including their Hong Kong
16:55headquarters office where hopefully we get a chance to connect as well Felix to anyone that is
17:01considering polar tensor as a home as a diversification as an opportunity for themselves but is wondering
17:10because of the past traumas because of the nature of the industry of your intentions of the company's
17:17stability of its legal foundations all of those things they're trying to get from their past trauma and
17:23and go into the future of possibilities and excitement and and hope for the future what would you say to
17:29them of of coming to polar tensor as as their home and and a place where they can start to
17:34rebuild
17:35themselves and their hope for a better future of course i say you're welcome uh i would encourage people
17:40to to try us out that's put your first hundred dollar inside you know the level is very small we
17:45are not
17:46asking for ten thousand dollar to start with us you can start with hundred bucks basically so and then you
17:51see the
17:51results by yourself and you guys don't lock up the capital no and you have apps on the google play
17:57store and apple play store so there's a lot of credibility there there's a lot of legal foundations
18:01yes indeed we have a license in uh in europe in the eu we have a license in america wow
18:08you guys really
18:08put a lot of thought and consideration and and like a real business should and exactly yeah and that
18:28you know that um yeah we're good under the umbrella of licenses that you can work legally as well and
18:37nobody's knocking at your door one day i i really enjoyed uh the online especially the in-person
18:43conversation that i've had with someone that is leading this adventure the captain of this ship for
18:49us it's been quite a delight to get to know felix in person let's get him out of the sun
18:53so he
18:54doesn't uh leave here with a permanent tan um to everyone that is looking at this opportunity i'm
18:59extremely grateful to be a part of it and you can include it in your own journey as always we're
19:04coming together to discover these wonderful gems of opportunity to help people with big hearts
19:08achieve big wallets with that we'll catch felix at the event happening this weekend and then across
19:15the world thank you again my friend yeah welcome see you polar and beyond
