00:00I want to thank also a friend of mine, Secret Service Director Sean Curran.
00:04I see you back there, Sean. Thank you very much.
00:09And I thought you did a great job two weeks ago. You know why?
00:12Because I'm here, okay? We consider being here a success.
00:18And I'll tell you what, your people are all over the place.
00:21You know, you got a little, no matter how well you do, they're going to find fault.
00:26But I will be the one to find fault if I think there was fault.
00:30They had great professional people.
00:33And they came out, and within seconds, I saw them take J.D. by the shoulders and lift him up
00:38like he was a little boy.
00:41I said, how come they didn't lift me up so fast?
00:44They lifted J.D., got ripped out of the chair.
00:47That was a view of the week.
00:50But they did the job, J.D., right? I think so.
00:55The Director of the U.S. Marshal Service, Gaddy Seralta.
00:59Gaddy, where are you, Gaddy?
01:01Great job.
01:02And you, with what you've done in D.C., you, the whole team.
01:05But I'm so proud of D.C. because, you know, they all said that it really couldn't be saved.
01:13You got to remember, we took over 5,000 people out of here.
01:16They were career criminals.
01:17They came in through the border, through Joe Biden's open border, one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, open
01:23border.
01:24We had 6,000, thousands, I won't even go into numbers, because who knows, who knows what they represent.
01:30But we had thousands of criminals.
01:32We had numerous murderers, people that were in for murder, people that were taken out of jails.
01:37They murdered more than one people, more than one person.
01:41And we got them out of here.
01:43We got them out.
01:44And overall, I think we took over 5,000 people, career criminals, out of D.C.
01:49And one stat that's really good, that 2% of the people create 92% of the crime.
01:57And I love that stat because we can solve that problem.
02:00We get rid of 2% and you get rid of your crime.
02:03And that's essentially what we did.
02:04We took a large number of people, but not incredibly large.
02:09We got them out.
02:10And now we have a safe place.
02:12And, you know, people that work in the White House, whenever I'm out, people come up to me and they
02:17say, thank you, sir.
02:18I almost know what they mean.
02:20They say, thank you, sir.
02:22And I said, I think I know.
02:24Go ahead.
02:25Thank me for what you made Washington, D.C. safe.
02:28We live here.
02:29We couldn't leave our apartment.
02:31We couldn't go out to dinner.
02:32The restaurants were closing.
02:34I mean, it was horrible.
02:35Restaurants, hand for the restaurants closed.
02:37You couldn't have run a restaurant.
02:38I, you wouldn't have run a restaurant.
02:39You wouldn't have run a restaurant.
02:39You couldn't have run a restaurant.
02:40You wouldn't have run a restaurant.
