Nvidia has committed more than $40 billion to AI equity investments in 2026, including major stakes in OpenAI, Corning, and IREN, as it expands its AI infrastructure moat.

00:07in early 2026, including a $30 billion investment in OpenAI, according to CNBC.
00:14The company also announced seven multi-billion dollar investments in public companies,

00:25FactSet data showed NVIDIA participated in roughly two dozen private startup funding rounds in 2026.
00:32Critics said the investments raised concerns about NVIDIA funding some of its own customers,
00:37while Wedbush analyst Matthew Bryson said the strategy could create a competitive moat if
00:43successful. Goldman Sachs raised NVIDIA revenue and earnings estimates ahead of the company's
00:48May 20th earnings report. NVIDIA has a market capitalization of $5.23 trillion,
00:54and the stock has gained 83.35% over the past 12 months.
