00:00today and coming on the hills of Mother's Day. I mean, we are thrilled to support mothers
00:04everywhere, whether it's that mom that is getting to experience growing life for the very first time
00:10or the one chasing toddlers or wrangling teenagers or being there when their adult child calls for
00:17advice. Moms are the heartbeats of our families, our communities and our country. President Trump
00:23knows that and he's made sure we've created a comprehensive culture of life. That's what you
00:28see right now with moms.gov. Moms.gov was something that then Senator Rubio and I talked about doing
00:34with Senator Kramer and now Senator Schmidt, but of course, President Trump is actually the way to put
00:39it into action. It supports moms through the prenatal, postpartum and early childhood development stages of
00:45motherhood. Also, as we tackle rural health, look, I stand up here in front of you not only as a
00:50mom of
00:51two, but also as someone who lives in the great state of Alabama, where about 28% of women live
00:57in the current maternal care desert. The work that we did and the working families tax cuts, guys,
01:02that hits it head on. We have an opportunity now to reach those who haven't been reached.
01:07When we look at maternal mortality rates, we continue to invest both in the research that
01:11will help us resolve that issue, but also in the women that deal with so many issues during their
01:17pregnancy. We want them to be supportive. And then in addition to all of that, child care.
01:23So we know last year alone, you had about 455,000 women leave the workforce due to affordability
01:30and accessibility of child care. We've often said, and the president and I have talked about
01:34this, if you have or want the opportunity to stay home, we want that for you. But if you want
01:39or need
01:40the opportunity to reenter the workforce and want to be a part of building back America,
01:44like President Trump is doing, we don't want affordability or accessibility to be an impediment
01:49to that. So not only at his direction, and I was proud to lead the effort in the working families
01:53tax cuts to modernize the tax code to make sure that child care was front and center for the first
01:58time since Ronald Reagan, sir. You're the first one to do it. But today, that comprehensive nature
02:03of whether you're staying home or you're in a faith-based provider or you have a child care center
02:08that you lovingly send your child to during the day as you work to provide for your family,
02:14today, that is easier as a result. And we are proud of what that means for the economy.
02:19We know 24 percent of young families, our young families spend about 24 percent of their annual
02:25income on child care. So, Mr. President, thank you for all that you've done creating a comprehensive
02:29culture of life. This is, this is really groundbreaking.
02:32The President Trump So, do you see now why I endorsed her so
02:35soon?
02:36The President Trump Yes, for sure.
02:37The President Trump And always, well, I'd be afraid not to.
02:39The President Trump Yes, sir.
02:40The President Trump She also is married to the largest human being I've ever heard.
02:42The President Trump He's right there, sir.
02:43The President Trump Her husband is great. He's a 11-year player
02:47in the NFL, an all-star, one of the greatest college football players ever at what he does.
02:54So, he's, and he's a fantastic person. Both, two really fantastic people.
