00:00Well, you'd select a center in the second round because you expect him to play sooner rather than later.
00:09If you draft a center in the fourth round, unless you're in a jam,
00:15he's probably in a sit-and-learn, redshirt-type situation.
00:23But there's going to be a lot of ground, I think, for him to cover between now and September.
00:30To push a veteran with a ton of experience in Garrett Bradbury,
00:35a guy that they went out and got very quickly after the Drew Dahlman retirement.
00:43But absolutely, they got your attention, and I think they told you that when they drafted Logan Jones in the
00:51second round.
00:51Like, this is a guy we envision being a participant and contributor probably at some point this season.
01:02Again, he's got to go out and do it, though, and prove it and be consistent.
01:07But that was certainly the message I got.
01:13And you'll see second-round centers that play pretty well as rookies.
01:19Remember, it was a couple years ago, the best center in the draft was a guy that would have been
01:24an ideal fit for the Bears out of West Virginia,
01:29Zach Frazier.
01:30And he ended up going to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round
01:34and has handled that position pretty seamlessly for them.
01:40So the Bears are going to hope to get the same kind of start to an NFL career from Logan.
