00:03Caren Middleton, I work for the Maternal Mental Health Alliance.
00:07I'm Erica Hayhoe and I work for Her Circle, a charity in the North East of England.
00:11So this project that we're working on together is for women experiencing complex motherhood.
00:15Complex motherhood is indefined, there's women that are going through things like childhood, trauma, substance use, poverty is another one.
00:22But at the end of the day, all mothers experience some form of complexity and mental health of course being
00:26one of them.
00:27We know that as many as one in four women and birthing people will experience a mental health problem during
00:32pregnancy or after birth.
00:33It is common, lots of other people are going through this and there is help available.
00:37Talk to your midwife, your GP, a healthcare professional, talk to other women, there are lots of voluntary sector organisations
00:43out there.
00:44And that's the really positive thing here, there's an opportunity to make care better and to reduce the suffering that
00:50we know that women and birthing people and families experience.
00:53Testing, testing, this is the Free Flying Fish.
00:55My name is Kira Pritch-McLean.
00:56My name is Max Worsley.
00:58We were the youngest team to ever row across the Atlantic Ocean.
01:02I'm a standard comedian and also the co-founder of a comedy school in Shigevni in North Wales called Gnade
01:06Make Do.
01:07I am in November going to be skiing from the edge of the Antarctic to the South Pole.
01:16Our whole campaign was about inspiring the youth of today, inspiring kids to try new things and push boundaries.
01:22I remember being a young person who just was desperate to perform, desperate to write, desperate to make things and
01:28didn't know how to go about it.
01:29My father passed away crossing Antarctica, so it's an expedition about legacy.
01:35We're also trying to use the expedition to help motivate young people to connect with the outdoors.
01:41I'm really proud to be here representing Gnade Make Do because I know how important it was for the students
01:46when Prince William came and visited them.
01:48It means absolutely everything. It's the world to us and it's really nice that we can share our story with
01:53so many other people.
01:54It's very special to be here today to celebrate the expedition.
01:57If we can make it to the South Pole in January of 2027 then I'll be pleased.
