"Dead Pigeon Suite" is an extended version of Can's classic hit, "Vitamin C", recorded in 1972. The suite is a compilation of different takes and improvisations made during the recordings for the soundtrack of Samuel Fuller's film, Dead Pigeon on Beethoven Street (1973). Duration: While the original version on the Ege Bamyası album lasts approximately 3:30 minutes, "Dead Pigeon Suite" is approximately 11:30 to 12 minutes long. It remained unreleased for decades until it was included on the compilation The Lost Tapes (2012), which contains rare material from the band's archive.: The suite begins with softer, atmospheric passages before transitioning into the familiar hypnotic rhythm of "Vitamin C" and includes additional experimentation and "breakbeats" not present on the original release.
