00:00:01four extraordinary worlds steeped in tradition are opening their doors hopefully it's not
00:00:08haunted to four groups of young brits a bit nervous now ready to take a giant leap out of
00:00:14their comfort zones i'm just a 24 7 princess what happens when a generation raised online
00:00:20all we care about is how we look i've really rotted my brain from tiktok come face to face
00:00:26with regimes built on no-nonsense rules how long i've got to spend in silence actually more than
00:00:3110 hours where loyalty and principles really count you had your blazer done up in my school
00:00:38you're a weirdo i don't want to do this anymore will this unique clash of values whatever i was
00:00:44expecting this is 50 100 more welcome to hell and cultures lead to conflict everybody come stand
00:00:52right here and shut the crap or lasting change there comes a point where it's not fun and cool
00:00:57anymore and after each unforgettable week it was amazing i'm top of the world right now will either
00:01:03side ever be the same again i think i've just found three friends it's been the most funniest strangest
00:01:10abnormal week of my life i feel like i've had an epiphany this time you cannot tell me this is
00:01:17not
00:01:17stylish three shopaholics who like to splash the cash i am obsessed step back to the 60s on a hippie
00:01:25commune where they always put the planet first i'm not empty like the toilet no no we're not doing
00:01:34that what type of hippie village am i at can these unashamed materialists why am i going to go and
00:01:40we're in a ditch bin the designer brands to embrace peace and love so you're not a cult no
00:01:49oh no that's grim and when looking good meets feeling good here you're going will everyone
00:01:56break new ground this experience i can't quite has brought so many emotions you would never think
00:02:25have been your life do you think they've got delivery
00:02:31welcome to my closet saffron from essex is the ultimate blonde bombshell
00:02:37this is my bag collection a christian dior gucci gucci gucci this room is my life she's built an
00:02:46impressive haul of luxury goods mostly by wrapping men around her little finger i am a sugar baby a
00:02:53sugar baby is basically a companion when i have a long-term sugar daddy then the items per month
00:02:59will be like a few chanel handbags or a few christian lebu on her life revolves around two things
00:03:06presents and being pampered the men that i've dated they've always looked past me like i'm just a
00:03:1224 7 princess so i don't know what life is without that
00:03:19i don't think i've really ever been in the countryside before
00:03:23this is my room come on in i love shopping so i wanted to make my room look like a
00:03:28shop
00:03:29criminology student umar from derby might work for tk maxx but his taste is strictly designer
00:03:35i have a really bad shopping addiction something new to the collection it's this versace gown
00:03:41you cannot tell me this is not stylish this 20 year old spares no expense on his looks
00:03:47i would describe myself as selfish materialistic superficial and i hate when people say it's
00:03:55a bad thing when it's not a bad thing especially when dad is picking up the tab be a good
00:03:59boy
00:04:00yeah yeah i don't like contribute to anything to be honest and then when my paycheck runs out
00:04:05i'll just be texting my dad oh can you buy me this my sister can you buy me this never
00:04:09say no
00:04:10he does know the value of the money but he doesn't know the value of my money
00:04:15yeah i can't lie i'm really hoping it's not a farm
00:04:1922 year old bridie from salford is a fashion student who makes no apologies for getting what
00:04:25she wants my dad would definitely describe me as a bit of a diva maybe say i'm a bit of
00:04:29a brat as
00:04:30well how cute a tiktok influencer with over 10 000 followers and a serious unboxing habit
00:04:36she rarely repeats an outfit fresh back from the gym to do even if it means spending money
00:04:45she doesn't have i do not live within my means but i'm young and i want to go out and
00:04:50have fun
00:04:51and i want to look really good while i'm doing it wish me luck won't need it our three conspicuous
00:04:57consumers are leaving their luxuries behind to live with people who see the world very differently
00:05:07the whole idea of consumerism of buying things involves exploiting other beings so we have to
00:05:17live differently
00:05:21the inhabitants of cheyenne farm a remote 25 acre site in cornwall live a proudly back to basics
00:05:27existence we're a very simple farm and everything we do is eco-friendly as possible
00:05:34it's more than a commune it's not drink the kool-aid and welcome it is a community
00:05:38it is like stepping back in time inspired by the hippie communes of the 60s and 70s
00:05:44they reject the individualism of the modern world we're not designed to be isolated in little boxes
00:05:50we're designed to live together to solve problems together to play together that's i think the basis
00:05:58of humanity at cheyenne they've ditched the internet for inner peace with strict rules about living green
00:06:04and working for the common good we're all here to make the world better for each other and for ourselves
00:06:18it's going to be a huge challenge for the new arrivals who love nothing more than more more more
00:06:24haven't got a coat yeah i mean there's no coats in here is there absolutely none probably no shoes
00:06:30either she's quite opinionated i'm not too sure how she's going to handle it i can't imagine her
00:06:35without a creature comforts it might be a wake-up call that not everything in life's about designer
00:06:40things and pink you know there's more to life than that well make sure you take some warm clothes with
00:06:44you because it could be cold yeah you've got to give your best shot although umar is known to give
00:06:50up too easily you have to carry on and keep trying he still manages to get exactly what he wants
00:06:56my mom
00:06:57passed away like three years ago now i live with my dad and my two sisters because they do everything
00:07:02for me it feels like i'm just living in a hotel under my staff whatever he asks for he gets
00:07:07it we won't
00:07:09say no to him because after losing his mom we just don't want to upset him in any way maybe
00:07:14i'll have
00:07:14to take an extra case this week-long walk on the wild side could make or break these committed
00:07:23shopaholics i don't think a lot of people fully understand what they sign up to when they come and
00:07:29live somewhere like here the off-grid element of it alone is quite a gnarly shock
00:07:39if i was to change something about my current life i'm feeling like it's a bit shallow and i would
00:07:46like to be a bit more deep because i have got debt i might not look like it but i
00:07:50do
00:07:52i've always lived in this bubble never really taken risks i love my home comforts i think i'm
00:07:57going to struggle for sure i've never had to live a life where i'm not in control or it doesn't
00:08:03revolve
00:08:03around me i want to embrace their life i reckon it only gets to a certain point and then you're
00:08:08like
00:08:08like this if i don't walk out and go home i've achieved still to come for me it's kind of
00:08:19tearing
00:08:19my life apart umar gets off to a bad start actually my iron and it doesn't take long for saffron
00:08:28to break i don't want to do this anymore
00:08:37three cereal shoppers are ditching their dior for dream catchers to spend a week with a hippie
00:08:43community in cornwall hey guys hey welcome to cheyenne i'm brett i'm ben i'm a fruit farmer
00:08:51and i run a circus and he's one of the founders of cheyenne and i live here and i'm the
00:08:57community
00:08:57coordinator so yeah welcome amazing do you need a hand with any of them oh you can take mine thank
00:09:02you very much how long are you staying for i'm moving in babe
00:09:09the things that come to mind when i think of eco community are chaining yourself to a tree
00:09:15shouting probably at me for all the consumerism that i do i feel like everything i say you guys
00:09:23are going to be like you don't know what hard life is girl like that's how i feel different flavors
00:09:28of
00:09:28different hard in there i wasn't really sure what i was expecting but i think whatever i was expecting
00:09:35this is about 50 100 more than what i was expecting do you know what i mean so it'll be
00:09:40exciting to see
00:09:40how they go on through the week i did not bring appropriate attire for the week i would rather
00:09:45be cold and look really stylish this is the bee orchard be aware i think that hippies they're a bit
00:09:53cavemen like i think we're from completely different worlds so there's no similarities there whatsoever
00:10:00i didn't know there'd be kids here hello we all live here we're like a village these people who are
00:10:06all very city based probably don't know a lot of things that they're going to experience here
00:10:12and i think a lot of the experience will be very challenging we're going to introduce you to babu and
00:10:18suzanna who are going to show you where you're staying hi hello hello do you hug yeah yeah i'm
00:10:25hi amazing i'm sad you all right i'm umar hi umar welcome here this is a bath house in this
00:10:32community
00:10:32chemicals are out and natural is in so we use natural products in here because all the waste
00:10:39water goes into that pond there we've got three showers look at the mosaic to be honest my idea of
00:10:47hippies is very unhygienic people and though it's called a bath house our shoppers aren't actually
00:10:54allowed to have one that's not taking a bath because that's all the hot water but there's
00:10:58always water for the showers okay i think i will struggle most with washing my hair extensions this
00:11:03is a really really real one i don't know how i'm going to style my extensions without a curling tong
00:11:08and
00:11:09electronics and how am i going to dry my hair i'm getting stressed while there are strict rules about
00:11:15the products the rest of the bath house vibe is more liberal the whole community uses this so if
00:11:21someone's having a shower someone else will come in and use another share as well and because it's
00:11:25a community wow i think that's shocking i'm not happy about in the bath and i like to have one
00:11:34every
00:11:34night so i don't want anyone disturbing me i've just got here and i don't really understand their
00:11:39choices and reasons and whatever but to me already i'm like oh i it just it feels uncomfortable
00:11:49oh and these are the compost toilets so there's no flushing water you're doing your business
00:11:54and then when you're finished you throw some handful of sawdust in after you
00:11:59right you'll get the use to it yeah it's like a festival toilet i've never been to a festival
00:12:05i've never been to a festival oh come on guys don't know about you never see everyone's turds
00:12:10do not know about that one but i'm just trying to be open and it's not the end of the
00:12:15world
00:12:16pooing in a hole there's no flush there's no flush yeah because we're really uh conscious of
00:12:21water here right when you've got to go for a poo in the middle of the night and it's dark
00:12:27they'll be
00:12:27moving into nature and they'll enjoy it while they won't i'm just gonna have one minute and then i'll
00:12:35join you less than an hour in and saffron's already hit her limit i hate the wilderness so much that
00:12:44i
00:12:45used to live with a balcony and the insects and the grass freaked me out so much i had to
00:12:49swap and
00:12:50get places out about me the reality of her new home is sinking in fast oh my god
00:12:58going for the middle of the steps oh my god oh my god oh my god wait wait wait wait
00:13:03i can't
00:13:05fucking do this you got this come on you got this just like i don't like any of it there
00:13:13you go
00:13:16i don't want to do this anymore no i really don't want to do this anymore
00:13:27there's too much i can't what's too much babe just all of it like the bees the walking the climbing
00:13:36we have had people that came here and before they even got out the car they were
00:13:42you know in shock and they didn't even stay the night they left so it's not for everybody
00:13:47i'm not used to quiet at all well you'll get used to it i'm sure you got this mate yeah
00:13:53she's coming
00:13:54into an environment that's way out of her comfort zone i hope she lasts the week saffron decides to
00:14:00stay at least for now we're here to support you in any way we can thank you come on then
00:14:10while her shopaholic sidekick is struggling to face commune life bridey seems up for the challenge
00:14:16oh my gosh i love it why does it kind of smell like a greenhouse i'd really like to be
00:14:23more
00:14:24sustainable i'm hoping that this is really going to open my eyes and be like hang on a minute all
00:14:28this stuff i take for granted i think there's going to be some tears but i mean you can't grow
00:14:33without tears so oh is that the wardrobe uh there's not really a wardrobe no image obsessed umar is
00:14:43seriously unimpressed with the lack of mod cons do you have an iron um i don't think so can i
00:14:51not get
00:14:52anything much uh you can well the thing is it takes up a lot of electricity but i can we
00:14:57can ask okay
00:14:58okay all right thank you that's okay see you later see you bye bye it's a joke actually my iron
00:15:07it seemed to be a complete shock for them to come here and to see how different life is here
00:15:14to theirs
00:15:17creased clothes or not all three guests are summoned to one of cheyenne's regular community meetings
00:15:23to find out the grand plan for the week our visitors are quite extreme oh they're a little bit different
00:15:30from what we used to but when i say a little bit i mean wow cheyenne's rules and all its
00:15:37decisions are
00:15:38made collectively by the 15 adults and seven kids who live here so all of us here have other jobs
00:15:47than
00:15:47working on the farm so you're not a cult no we're not a cult and the three new arrivals will
00:15:54be expected
00:15:54to get in line so this week is the most important week in our year it's apple season and on
00:16:01sunday it's
00:16:02apple fair which is our annual celebration of everything that is cheyenne you're going to be helping
00:16:07us juice apples bottle apple juice you're coming to the market with us on saturday so we'll see how
00:16:12much juice you can sell i think i'm going to be so good at that oh yeah should you think
00:16:17we should
00:16:17make it into a little competition you should you three will be meeting us two after yoga tomorrow
00:16:23morning to start on farm tasks i have some concerns about some of the activities some of the more
00:16:29farmy bits getting down and dirty might be a bit harder for them but we'll see thank you very much
00:16:34for all of your time um and let's have dinner welcome the guys thank you cheers big ears
00:16:45do the nails have to stay on listen if one comes off it comes off as the shoppers sit down
00:16:52for their
00:16:53first community meal host susanna wastes no time digging into saffron's slightly unusual career
00:16:59is it your sugar baby basically i am a sugar baby so i have like guys that just fund my
00:17:06life
00:17:07i will meet a married guy yes they're always married don't freak out um and he will just need to
00:17:13let off
00:17:13some steam now it's easy to think that more is happening than i'm saying but this is where you'd be
00:17:18very wrong it's nothing intimate right yeah yeah it's conversational it's getting glam on a night out
00:17:25making them feel good i also have pay pigs too which are men who basically want to be humiliated and
00:17:32i
00:17:32will humiliate them and they will gift me items and money so do you just work at night then mm
00:17:36-hmm i'm
00:17:37like a little entrepreneur girl i do i do many things coat hanger man is mine and my best friend's
00:17:43favorite customer we meet him in a hotel but this is all above board okay there's nothing weird going
00:17:48on the only weird bit is that he likes to be hung up inside the closet on a hanger and
00:17:53then we're on
00:17:54the bed ordering room service like with his cards drinking bottles of champagne like rinsing his card
00:17:59out laugh at him and then when that the time's finished we get him out of the wardrobe and then
00:18:04we go
00:18:04home you'd be so surprised how many people seek it out yeah there does seem to be a big gap
00:18:11between
00:18:11their lifestyle and this type of lifestyle especially for saffron so it's just financial yeah
00:18:19my ambition is to actually find what i'm supposed to do in life and i really haven't found it and
00:18:25i'm
00:18:25hopeful that i will find it one day thanks very much you guys for coming down i will be knocking
00:18:30on
00:18:31your door to take you to yoga with bread then we'll be at work from 10. i'd recommend an early
00:18:35night let's have a great week
00:18:46used to starting their day at 3 pm our night owl shoppers now have to rise with the sun at
00:18:52cheyenne
00:18:53oh lovely let me show you the toilet because i don't even think you've actually seen it properly
00:18:59you lift the lid and it's the ground
00:19:05i actually fell asleep fine but umar next door snores like my granddad it was so cold here i don't
00:19:14know how people do it like i'm literally sleeping outside but i look like i never wake up this early
00:19:20and right now i look like a mess and i feel like a mess i feel like they're gonna start
00:19:25seeing the
00:19:26real me oh shit this morning i woke up and i just want to run away again i've only been
00:19:33here one day
00:19:34and i'm so grateful for my actual life morning morning morning hello come on out you ready for
00:19:42some yoga you can leave your phone behind umar there won't be an opportunity to look at it
00:19:47and the doom scrolling detox starts now for our trio we're about people finding themselves you know
00:19:54because you can't really live a full life without knowing yourself inside and to do that you need
00:20:01to have some space and some calm to show that fulfillment doesn't always come with a price tag
00:20:07ben and brett kick off a week of mindful activities with a sunrise yoga class
00:20:17for bridie this enforced phone break comes after two years of non-stop content creation
00:20:23my attention span is non-existent i've really rotted my brain from tiktok and i've tried to meditate and
00:20:29i just can't seem to and then i get frustrated with myself but it's because of the phones take your
00:20:35head down a little bit
00:20:39breathing out open those lungs open the chest i'm breathing out stop it it's all right good
00:20:50let the laughter out hug your knees in this position we're just gonna roll on the back
00:20:56my bum might explode any sort of sports i've ever done in my life because i'm just crap at it
00:21:02it becomes sort of a mindset thing of like oh well i just won't bother then and i think i've
00:21:06done that
00:21:07a lot in my life as well which is a downfall i think it's important that we allow ourselves
00:21:13to experience things without judgment just gently have a go do it as best you can no one's judging
00:21:20around here it's fine so just hold the leg wherever you can and see if you can balance on that
00:21:28leg
00:21:28breathing in and breathing out bridie seems to be the only one properly embracing the stretch
00:21:37i kind of thought that that was going to be a bit silly but it actually wasn't just feeling like
00:21:41really relaxed very zen um namaste
00:21:49so umar do you not cook at high i've never cooked in my life one time when i tried to
00:21:54make a pot noodle
00:21:55it got ruined i just can't believe i've met someone worse than me yeah like i don't cook but i
00:22:00could
00:22:00probably do a pot noodle well sir thank you as they all took into breakfast umar's mind is on more
00:22:07pressing matters i need an iron you need an iron yeah i've got an iron can i borrow it should
00:22:14we
00:22:14talk about what you can do for me first yeah well it depends no no all of you so we've
00:22:20all gotta work
00:22:20for his iron i gotta work for my iron ben wants umar and the others to learn the hard way
00:22:27at cheyenne
00:22:28the group always comes first we're going to do a little task this morning that everyone who comes to
00:22:34join us here at cheyenne has to do at some point uh it's the least pleasant task of living here
00:22:39oh no no no no i'm not gonna no sorry i'm not emptying out the toilet no i'm not doing
00:22:45it either
00:22:45babe we're not doing that so when we finish with the compost loo we close it down and it stays
00:22:51for a
00:22:52few months just closed one of the main things you need in community is you need a sense of joined
00:23:00up
00:23:00purpose people have to be happy to help other people which is a big ask often and when you open
00:23:07it up inside it's just soil at the moment we ask for five hours a week you might do apple
00:23:15pressing or
00:23:15cleaning or building lots and lots of jobs so we're going to dig a hole then we're going to fill
00:23:21it up
00:23:21with the content of a loo the job has to be done still to come wow it doesn't smell honestly
00:23:31say no to
00:23:32that there's a close encounter of the turd kind oh no that's grim look how that is that moldy diarrhoea
00:23:39and bridie starts to question her lifestyle choices sorry i don't know i'm gonna cry oh please
00:23:53guys oh my days look at that down in cornwall our unrepentant shopaholics are trying to come to
00:24:01terms with commune life this is a look trust me girls are going to be walking around with their hair
00:24:07they may never think about what they throw away at home but here the reality of waste is inescapable
00:24:16here's going to be a hole yeah and then we're going to put the contents of that in the hole
00:24:21and
00:24:22then we're going to put the soil over the top of it and forget about it for about three years
00:24:28compost
00:24:29loos may be green but they come with one very real responsibility sharing the load i've not had like
00:24:36a proper laboring kind of job in like two years i've been making tiktoks so the most manual labor i'm
00:24:44doing is tidying my bedroom so bridie and umar get in there a little bit and then oh saffron
00:24:52see everyone's doing it umar's also unfamiliar with hard labor though he works part-time in retail
00:25:00he believes he's destined for greater things i've always had this thing that i'm not meant to work
00:25:08there's just something inside of me that was like no there's something else meant for you
00:25:11so i think in my brain i'm just like why am i working when i already know it's not something
00:25:17i'm going to do forever has anyone ever left after doing this no oh you might get a first today
00:25:25i don't really understand how cleaning the loo makes me at one with the loo it's because we feel better
00:25:32knowing that our turds aren't floating out into falmouth bay we're in like a pressure cooker with
00:25:39everything in life so to then add this into it why am i going to go and wee in a
00:25:45ditch when my life's
00:25:46already hard i think we're good for the hole now the next part is move the soil
00:25:53oh that's it oh that's it
00:25:56it's not yeah what's that it just like looks like soil with sawdust in it to be honest come here
00:26:02come
00:26:02i'm good no come see it i'm here i'm really good ben's message isn't exactly sinking in for saffron
00:26:10and umar i don't know why they have these toilets like why are you doing that like 20 people really
00:26:14aren't going to make that much of a difference so it's not really helping the environment is it
00:26:19you're basically torturing yourself it's weird
00:26:23a couple of shovels but yet again bridey is the one getting stuck in this is actually so minor
00:26:29i can't lie oh good on you bridey there's still chunks of poo like there's no poo in there
00:26:37that's just all broken down into soil oh wow it doesn't say no to that right guys who's going next
00:26:45i can pull the wheelbarrow yeah do that oh no that's grim look at that that is that moldy diarrhea
00:26:53ben i better be getting my iron for this i better be when you move the wheelbarrow you're one step
00:26:59closer to the iron yeah eventually the lure of borrowing ben's iron means umar grudgingly gets
00:27:06his hands dirty was that as bad as you thought yes or no no hey there you go so saffron
00:27:14now it's your
00:27:14turn i'm just gonna respectfully decline because i want to be able to like eat later and like sit
00:27:19in my bed and not feel dirty i thought it was going to be like log log log piss all
00:27:27flooding towards
00:27:29me and the fact i was just stood there like yeah let's go with it is actually a bit baffling
00:27:35but
00:27:35i'm really glad that i did there we go i really needed that iron so bad so i'm okay with
00:27:42getting my
00:27:43hands dirty for it as long as i never had to pick it up with my own hands i'm fine
00:27:46surprise yes you
00:27:50kept your promise thanks i'll keep mine so happy with this and i'll be putting it to you straight away
00:27:57it's not a spectator sport being at cheyenne it's a it's a full contact sport people either get that
00:28:04or run away screaming even with a perfectly pressed outfit umar is still not happy i can't lie i am
00:28:16in
00:28:16the sump right now it feels like human torture every day i wake up and i remind myself okay four
00:28:21days
00:28:21that really is that i can't wait until the day where it's like no days left hi ben tash and
00:28:29their
00:28:29daughter lola have lived at cheyenne for almost two years in a customized old american school bus
00:28:35but umar doesn't get the appeal i'm really intrigued though like did you guys always want to live the
00:28:41simple life we used to live in london you worked in advertising i worked as a dancer in the city
00:28:47we
00:28:48went and got a house and then came lockdown ben lost his job we couldn't pay the mortgage and we
00:28:53had
00:28:53to do something we had to change our life so we ended up buying the bus that's really cool tash
00:28:59runs
00:29:00the year-round allotments and she's on a mission to show our shoppers that not everything worth
00:29:04having comes ready made i probably get about two to three takeaways a day as a single person to buy
00:29:12your own food shopping it costs you more money you guys are just going to fill up scoop it up
00:29:18pop it on
00:29:19and pass it down why would i cook when i can just uber everything in i don't really save that
00:29:24much
00:29:24by cooking and i also waste my energy so yeah thank god for uber eats tash wants to persuade her
00:29:32novice
00:29:32gardeners that good food comes from the soil not a delivery app so part of the wonderful thing about
00:29:39living at cheyenne is that we can pick them fresh and they're not treated with chemicals so they do go
00:29:45off quickly that you've grown them and you eat what you can and you share out so there's no waste
00:29:51just popping it under the soil a little bit make one per square one per square i like to be
00:29:56busy
00:29:57that boring to me this whole life is very still and that doesn't pump me of anything it doesn't make
00:30:05me feel like yes i love this it's the opposite for me busy makes me feel like yes i love
00:30:10this well done
00:30:11your first baby plants thank you job done tash wants to know if any of her green fingered wisdom
00:30:21is beginning to take root cheers everybody well done cheers do you think like spending a bit of this
00:30:29time at cheyenne will make you any more interested in like going out and sitting on the grass or
00:30:35maybe looking at the stars a bit more i think no um i love this for you guys i think
00:30:42it's beautiful
00:30:42but i don't see this working for me we're doing this lifestyle not just because we enjoy it but
00:30:49because it's sustainable for the planet when i'm not here anymore i'd like there to be somewhere nice
00:30:54for other people to live that's the complete opposite of me yeah in what way i do live life
00:31:00for myself only but that's it's my own life who else am i going to live it for do you
00:31:04know what i
00:31:04mean former convenience queen bridey is starting to see the light i think it's quite inspirational
00:31:11what you guys have got going here i am worried about like sorry i don't know why i'm gonna cry
00:31:19it's emotional if you feel it you feel it
00:31:23i often feel like guilty like getting like parcels like pr get sent to me i wear it for a
00:31:31video
00:31:31chuck it in the bin packaging packaging packaging the amount of rubbish it makes me feel like
00:31:37shit but it's my job initially you're like yeah parcels and then you unbox them and that tiny five
00:31:45seconds of dopamine that you get is over i've got all this packaging that's kind of disgusting yeah
00:31:51i when i worked in events you know it was you know we put on a multi-million pound event
00:31:56and half
00:31:57it would go in the bin because it was just for one thing and that's one of the other reasons
00:32:00that we
00:32:00thought we'd leave that i feel your pain but it's learning to be kind to yourself because it's not
00:32:05just our individual choices we haven't made the society it's that i feel it i feel it i want to
00:32:10come
00:32:11and squeeze it because it is it's how we're living oh don't give her a hug thank you i just
00:32:19felt this like
00:32:20urge to cry and like i'm really not cry baby i don't cry like that there comes a point where
00:32:25it's not fun and cool anymore i mean i don't think it aligns with what my values are
00:32:39the outfit today is so good i'm really enjoying being here i had a bit of a moment yesterday
00:32:45where i cried the others it's kind of reaffirmed how much they love their life and i think for me
00:32:50it's kind of tearing my life apart and i'm kind of figuring out what i want and stuff
00:32:59cheyenne's survival literally grows on trees there's over 650 of them bearing apples waiting to be turned
00:33:06into juice and vinegar to keep the whole community afloat apple juice production is our main source of
00:33:12income we mix these together to make a blend of cornish apple juice which we sell first call is
00:33:18always washing it's apple fair week cheyenne's biggest chance to turn apple products into cash
00:33:24so they need stock ready in bulk roll up your sleeves right yeah it's muddy but we're cleaning
00:33:31the mud off it's important do you not put any like chemicals in there to wash it it's an organic
00:33:36farm
00:33:36just like the rest of cheyenne's residence ben expects bridey umar and saffron to put in an
00:33:42unpaid shift to help with the business we're at the seven dwarfs something umar still can't wrap his
00:33:49head around better than working at tk max it's bad tk max because i got paid and i don't have
00:33:54to do like a
00:33:55lot of work yeah but this is our jobs yeah but do you get paid for it well we get
00:33:59to live here we don't
00:34:00get a minimum wage the way the community works is we don't see the money we don't have to pay
00:34:05rent
00:34:05because it goes back here yeah so it's like you living at tk max right yeah you live upstairs they
00:34:10don't give you any wages you live in a cupboard upstairs so you work to live here then yeah i
00:34:15don't
00:34:15really understand what they're trying to do because like yeah you're living here and you have to
00:34:19work to live here i don't work to live at my house do you know what i mean imagine doing
00:34:23this like
00:34:24twice a week no that's an absolute joke get me out of here go that's it keep going come on
00:34:32we got
00:34:32i think we're there aren't we though unimpressed with the compost loo or gardening put a pile of
00:34:38apples in front of saffron and watch her go right go on then you two off you go all right
00:34:44mum give me
00:34:46a crate and get a crate for yourself right put these there stack that on there this is the first
00:34:52time
00:34:52i've seen saff get into something and kind of have her thing do that one babe she was kind of
00:34:57like bossing umar around he was like her little assistant and i think she quite likes that i think
00:35:01she likes bossing men around you're loving it why why so much i think because i found that i
00:35:08could be a leader in this and that's my natural habitat to lead you and i shouldn't work together
00:35:13no no no because we're both alpha so we'd clash yeah still be friends when we was in now i
00:35:19was just
00:35:19thinking these guys actually want to sell these products like this is a real thing that they really
00:35:23do so let's actually help because when they're accommodating us so we can do it back
00:35:31oh it's quick this was like a whole long process no do you know what surprises me babu
00:35:38the fact that you you all do this just for the sake of living here the community yeah rather than
00:35:44it
00:35:45be because i'm only used to seeing people doing things for a profit have you ever had no money
00:35:49yes i grew up with no money okay no just dire yeah that really bad and some months i'm in
00:35:55a real
00:35:55bad situation myself which is why i have a lot of assets that things that i can sell so if
00:36:01it gets
00:36:01that bad it's always on your mind and you're aware of every single month i am constantly thinking
00:36:06about how do i get this money i think i enjoy buying very expensive things because and this is
00:36:11the real truth because i was brought up with nothing and so being able to provide for myself
00:36:16is quite astonishing sometimes things would get bad like we'd have to have water with our cereal
00:36:21because there was no milk that day or that week and i saw my mum struggle but i also saw
00:36:26my mum being
00:36:27such a strong power unit and so i took that span it a little bit and now here i am
00:36:32what bits of the
00:36:34lifestyle that you've got that don't resonate with you i'm asexual and celibate so yeah which
00:36:41is but the whole job is extremely sexualized yeah so then i have to put on this constant persona of
00:36:47something i don't even believe in you're selling yourself oh babe i know i know and it is for finance
00:36:52and it is for money but it also is the only thing that i've ever known how to do really
00:36:56when i was at
00:36:58school i really wanted to be a journalist and i still stand by that i think i would be a
00:37:02fabulous
00:37:02journalist um but that just never worked out for me i needed money and i needed money fast
00:37:07you need to look after yourself first and foremost have strong boundaries yeah definitely and you're
00:37:13a beautiful soul you've got it from the moment i got here babu we gravitated towards each other
00:37:19and i think that's because he just strikes me with someone who's had a complicated life as well
00:37:24who has overcome it and i think he sees i am not to overcome yet and he wants to try
00:37:29and get me there
00:37:29which i really deeply appreciate but he's also got a really like soft understanding patient energy
00:37:36and that's something that i need uh well done we've made 162 bottles wow that's it
00:37:44if we sold all that you'd be over the moon okay that's a challenge thank you very much guys well
00:37:50done
00:37:50still to come i feel like something's been lifted off me umar is still not at one with nature i'm
00:37:57not
00:37:58an animal i don't deserve to have a spider on me when i'm in a shower and what starts as
00:38:03a fun trip to
00:38:04the circus ends in tears this experience has brought so many emotions you would never think of in your life
00:38:11to the surface three compulsive consumers have given up shopping sprees to try living with less
00:38:24for a week my body clock's not used to this life the sun the bright daylight i'm like after getting
00:38:32their hands dirty bridey and umar brave the communal bath house wow look at that oh and they've put a
00:38:40little bit of incense on for me definitely it's going to be super relaxing and bridey's starting to
00:38:46see the upside of going back to basics shower complete sorry look at that in the back i'm loving
00:38:52all this scenery honestly it's literally magical here i've not even dried myself properly it's because
00:38:58the walking fresh air just wearing towels um i'll let nature dry me but for city boy umar the great
00:39:08outdoors has officially gone too far the most traumatic thing happened to me i was having a shower outside
00:39:16like i'm an animal and an actual insect like a massive spider came and landed on me once i was
00:39:21like
00:39:22and washing my head oh it was gross i quickly smacked it out i don't even know if it's dead
00:39:27so now it's
00:39:28probably like bad luck for me for eight years it's a joke i'm not an animal i don't deserve to
00:39:33have a
00:39:33spider on me once i'm in the shower money is always a bit of a juggling act at cheyenne wow
00:39:45that'll be you in a minute babe so alongside the apple farm they fundraise with a summer circus
00:39:51as well as teaching acrobatics and aerial skills all year round the circus and the farm pick up the
00:39:58slack from each other the more strings to your bow you have the more likely you are to survive in
00:40:02this
00:40:02cost of living crisis world that we live in after a long day's work umar saffron and bridey are heading
00:40:10even further out of their comfort zones hello welcome guys this is where we have all of our shows and
00:40:18today we're going to do an aerial workshop former dancer tash and pro acrobat rachel want our image
00:40:25obsessed trio to ditch the mirrors and discover a whole new way to express themselves so first of all
00:40:33thumbs around the bar and then you tuck into a little ball and flex your feet so they come underneath
00:40:39the
00:40:39bar and hop your knees on so this this is called hot you then try and let go and see
00:40:48if you can hang
00:40:48by your knees i'll never get my foot up a little bit okay who wants to do the first hox
00:40:54who's wearing
00:40:54you're wearing yes same and then knees on and see if you can let go it does hurt well done
00:41:08so um if you sink down so you've got straight arms he's got this he's got this now see if
00:41:13you
00:41:13can get one foot to the bar that's it yeah well i'm not even going to try babe so try
00:41:21oh i'm not
00:41:22going to i love it i watch it true to form bridey jumps right in yes
00:41:30and at last umar's discovered an activity he seems genuinely enthusiastic about umar's absolutely
00:41:38killing it and i'm loving seeing this like really confident side of him come out it's really nice
00:41:46to see the morning was a big struggle for me i was ready to pack my bags and go home
00:41:51but coming here this has probably been the most fun i've had meanwhile saffron is hanging back
00:41:56do you want to have a go no thanks babe a little go i'm all right thank you honey no
00:42:01worries being
00:42:02around children reminds her of her unhappy school days when i was growing up i was extremely bullied
00:42:08to the point of i had no friends i wouldn't leave the house i was literally her me and my
00:42:13family were
00:42:14very concerned about me i've never even done a roly-poly in my life let alone all these
00:42:19i think that's probably a lot of like missing a lot of school
00:42:22people that because you do all them kind of you know that handsome roly-poly yeah that's
00:42:27where i thought this is yeah
00:42:28how you felt about it it frightens me honey so i love watching you i think you're brilliant
00:42:36but it really really frightens me
00:42:40it's the weirdest thing because going into this i thought that this would be fun i knew i was going
00:42:46to be terrible at it and that would have been banter but i think what i quickly realized is that
00:42:51tiny
00:42:51things like roly-poly and how i said you're like taught that in school and you're taught that amongst
00:42:56friends and i think because i don't know why this is getting me sad because i don't even care anymore
00:43:01but because i was so so atrociously bullied and like every lunch i'd sit in the bathroom on my own
00:43:09like i never had that opportunity to like play and learn these things i think i started crying at how
00:43:16good you was a lot of my life has just been me being an adult and so when i get
00:43:23into these very
00:43:24like playful situations i don't know how to cope it's just made me upset and i didn't want to get
00:43:28upset in front of the kids so i just took myself away i really really hope that you carry on
00:43:33with
00:43:33this because you're so good you really are and you look so pretty in your dress this experience has
00:43:40brought so many emotions to the surface because i've just suppressed everything and now i'm like
00:43:46a boiling kettle
00:43:57with the apple fair only days away ben and brett need help with constructing one of the big tops
00:44:03but one of the shoppers is a no-show what's happened to saffron she's taking the morning off
00:44:09we're just giving her a bit of space and hopefully she'll be back with us later i think i could
00:44:13do
00:44:13with that don't leave so yeah look here you go this is one of our big tops she's called sunshine
00:44:19and i'm going to teach you how to hit a tent pegging umar and bridey lend a hand that's it
00:44:25that's the
00:44:26swing it's heavy in it but after last night's circus class brought up unexpected emotions
00:44:40saffron steps away from the commune to reflect on the direction her life has taken
00:44:45i know that i need to do work on myself for sure
00:44:52their work done bridey and umar are about to get mystical because at cheyenne it's not about stuff
00:44:59it's about spirit the place where my yurt is it's just got such a magical energy you can just feel
00:45:06it
00:45:07it's supercharged and it's otherworldly susannah the resident shaman has decided they are ready
00:45:14for some feather smudging and aura cleansing have you worked much with energy before i'm dipping
00:45:21my toe into the spiritual world hey yeah but i'm very much a beginner tick tocker bridey's time at
00:45:27cheyenne is reminding her that life didn't always revolve around likes and followers i could feel it
00:45:33from you you do yeah when i first met you you have really good energy good over she may have
00:45:38thousands
00:45:38of fans but somewhere along the way she's lost touch with herself i would absolutely love to meditate
00:45:44i definitely have time for it i just need to put my phone down yeah um i believe in god
00:45:50so this is
00:45:51different so as a shamanic practitioner i help to shift energy through the body if you'd like to stand
00:45:59there righty put your arms out so it's the smoke that that helps to um cleanse your auric field and
00:46:08we use this tool to to move move the smoke move the energy around so just around your head and
00:46:14then
00:46:14down your center if it's all right i'm just gonna go outside for one second you okay yeah yeah okay
00:46:21while bridey continues to embrace her smudging umar's spiritual spring clean is over
00:46:28when she lit the stage up i got like this tightening in my chest so it was like something was
00:46:35telling me
00:46:35that that's not the environment for me how does that feel yeah i feel like quite calm yeah okay i
00:46:41feel
00:46:41like um i don't know something's been lifted off me yeah oh good
00:46:50bridey's not the only one thinking about her life choices
00:46:53umar's circus class has reconnected him with what really makes him happy
00:46:58when i was younger i was always into art fashion acting so it was all really different
00:47:05since his mum died three years ago he started studying criminology but cheyenne has him wondering
00:47:11if he's really on the right path my mom wanted me to go to university and get a degree i
00:47:16never really
00:47:17wanted to go to university what it's like her last wish that i want to fulfill i know that she's
00:47:23looking
00:47:23down on me i just want to do it for her but but would i rather focus on the creative
00:47:26side of things
00:47:28babu wants to give him another chance to scratch his creative itch by introducing him to rick
00:47:34a musician who handcrafts native american instruments hey come on in thank you
00:47:46i'm gonna play some flute and then you guys just sort of come in and accompany me
00:47:50if you just pick that one up from me and you match me and play what i'm playing
00:48:01how's that feel
00:48:04yeah you got that i'm gonna play to what you're playing so don't even worry about me you just keep
00:48:12that solid
00:48:27it's definitely surprised me i thought i had no musical talent i tried to play the guitar once just
00:48:32gave up but yeah it was actually the drums are a lot more easier to play than i thought that
00:48:36they would
00:48:36be how's that man yeah yeah that was good we're gonna be playing at this apple fair here right you
00:48:42come
00:48:42join me yeah for sure yeah yeah i feel like coming here has definitely made me tap into my creative
00:48:50side
00:48:50again and i definitely want to try and pursue a little bit more
00:48:58with saffron still missing in action babu invites bridey and umar to trade chores for a cheyenne style
00:49:05night out on the beach we're gonna have a fire and share some cacao around the fire
00:49:12i'm gonna stop passing this road this isn't your average hot chocolate drinking cacao is a sacred mayan
00:49:20and aztec ritual said to open the heart i'm gonna have oak first
00:49:29love and connection and being to us all do i just pass it say something in your mind or out
00:49:37loud
00:49:37okay love and light love and light the less sacred ritual of the silent disco has its roots
00:49:44in the 90s rave scene and dj babu is the man to kick off the party dancing on the beach
00:49:57the music's really good good isn't it yeah how often have you done silent disco on the beach never
00:50:07good music isn't it yeah it's a good video hopefully they'll embrace it and enjoy just let the music
00:50:13move them do you want to get in the water we're gonna get panoomia it takes a little warming up
00:50:25but
00:50:26the cheyenne effect is kicking in and umar and bridey are getting into the rhythm of it oh it's beyond
00:50:32free i really love it here you feel really grounded this is so good i know that it is an
00:50:38aphrodisiac
00:50:39so it does make you feel those like love emotions um but i'm definitely feeling it
00:50:44different to anything i've done before i do like it
00:50:50feels like there's no judgment and you can kind of just like do what you want i'm enjoying it
00:51:00still to come saffron is welcomed back into the fold it's emotional experience here i needed to
00:51:07sort of take a minute and now i'm ready to come back and the super shoppers get a chance to
00:51:12put
00:51:12their retail skills to the test do you like it we worked really hard for it no i'm all good
00:51:17at it
00:51:17all right that sounded a bit desperate
00:51:27the peace and quiet of the cornish countryside has given saffron a chance to reflect
00:51:32do you have a good rest i did i had a really lovely rest and i i kind of needed
00:51:36it i got
00:51:37no i saw that yeah it's emotional experience here i needed to sort of take a minute and now
00:51:43i'm ready to come back that's beautiful it's time for a heart-to-heart with her favorite cheyenne
00:51:48resident babu so we all had some cacao okay i'd like to share something with you yeah scared don't
00:51:55be scared it's just hot chocolate okay posh chocolate posh posh who seems to be able to see
00:52:01into her soul i think your energy is so calm so real you know i've got some health problems and
00:52:08being stressed doesn't help any of them i'm sorry yeah no sky it's part of life isn't it we all
00:52:13carry
00:52:13these bits of luggage with us luggage you can either wear it on your arm or just get on with
00:52:19it i used to
00:52:20be self-sabotaging all the time without even realizing it you know sometimes i can be that way too
00:52:25even with this experience i think that i'm self-sabotaging you are a bit yes i think that
00:52:32babu is probably just the most purest soul like he makes you speak and he makes you talk and he
00:52:38makes
00:52:38you think about things i keep repeating patterns so in my actual life i have like this character this
00:52:46role that i'm very good at playing and i was hoping to come here and shed that person entirely but
00:52:53i keep
00:52:53going back to it because it's where i feel safe yeah it's one step at a time yeah yeah we're
00:53:00all here
00:53:00to help you even after this oh i mean that i i believe i felt that one in my soul
00:53:07i did i see you
00:53:09not you i see you i know i know there's so much more to you than what you portray you
00:53:17know you said
00:53:17at one point you said this is all i know and it's not i think the lines get blurred when
00:53:23i say
00:53:24oh i'm being this character i was hoping that that was a facade the suitcases you came with that's like
00:53:29the year's supply that's probably all my clothes
00:53:34and then i kind of wanted to run away from the experience because i was a bit disappointed
00:53:38which would have been self-sabotaging but now i'm back so it's probably about like one percent of my
00:53:46water probably i go with a couple of carrier bags saturday is market day umar saffron and bridey
00:53:56have been tasked with trying to flog cheyenne's apple juice and cider vinegar to locals at a farmer's
00:54:02market we're here to try and sell as much as we can to as many of the people who are
00:54:05here
00:54:06finally it's their natural habitat a chance for our trio to dust off their retail know-how
00:54:12and put it to work would you like a try of the apple juice yeah we made it ourselves do
00:54:18you like
00:54:19that yeah i do i'll have a small one amazing ben's thrown down the gauntlet outsell last week's 120
00:54:26pound takings so let the competition begin and it's organic 100 percent while bridey mans the stall
00:54:34saffron takes charge of the mobile sales team does anyone want to try some apple juice right now
00:54:40we've got a very good deal on so this bottle here is only three pound all the stockbroker customers
00:54:46always say to me you should work for us i guess my skill set is getting things out of people
00:54:51she's
00:54:52even managed to whip the normally work shy umar into shape i want to go shopping though i don't want
00:54:58to keep selling stuff no you can't start money now umar it's not the time four pound fifty for the
00:55:04big
00:55:04bottle excellent i'll buy the bigger one we worked really hard for it so no i'm all good actually
00:55:10all right that sounded a bit desperate don't do well i am desperate well you could just buy it right
00:55:16here
00:55:17and you do take cash enjoy bye with sales going well saffron tries her hand at the art of the
00:55:26deal
00:55:26right we've got a proposal so we'll swap here a small bottle and then in return how much are these
00:55:32little tiny things so the basil is you can have three of those let's do that and then there's one
00:55:37each
00:55:37medium and wider here yeah that's what market's about isn't it i mean we all do need a break me
00:55:44and
00:55:44you have been working really hard we've done it for about one minute that's a lot more than i
00:55:48do at my other job so let's do it cheers cheers to working hard so hi we got you one
00:55:55of these oh
00:55:57well we've done a trade okay so we gave them a bottle of apple juice with three cakes lemon
00:56:02yeah it's so good what's going on here 25 minutes in and you need to sit down we've done a
00:56:07trade for
00:56:07trade oh what'd you trade i traded one of your small apple juices that cost three pounds yeah
00:56:13for three snacks that cost three pounds 75 so i actually got a 75p for who for me oh well
00:56:22i'm sharing
00:56:23mine with you i like the philosophy but now one of you needs to pay i'll give you the money
00:56:29back ben
00:56:30i'm going back to work now guys after literally eating into ben's profits saffron and umar head back
00:56:37out to sell more juice would you like to try some apple juice this is organic and i made it
00:56:43myself
00:56:44half an hour on they're back with the takings profits well and truly squeezed ben
00:56:51do you know what this means what does it mean we've just gone over last week's total congratulations
00:56:57but it's still not high fives all round one of you owes me three pounds still who's paying for that
00:57:02juice oh come on umar i can't believe you're making it i know i can't believe that i can't believe
00:57:08you're giving away my juice for free yes but it's not your juice to give we've been very unfairly
00:57:14treated today you think you've been unfairly not how you treat your stuff at all no this is a product
00:57:19that we've made right we made that we made no we we have collectively made no no we made okay
00:57:25so how
00:57:26did you make it without my apples it was a trade and we never say you yeah so you have
00:57:31traded our
00:57:32juice for a cake for you but this was ours we made no you didn't no no no you are
00:57:38mistaken you've taken
00:57:39three pounds from the shying community and used it to get cake for yourself i didn't think you cared
00:57:44about money ben no you're misunderstanding you're misunderstanding we do care about money we care
00:57:48about the money that we need to keep our community upright and working sorry i don't agree i'm sorry
00:57:54you don't understand do you understand i understand unlike saffron and umar bridey's now got both her
00:58:00feet inside the cheyenne camp you can't trade someone else's thing and then expect to be praised
00:58:06i think it's ridiculous and maybe a bit immature but they can't see that it's not theirs so i do
00:58:13not
00:58:13feel a part of this community so i'm going to quit my job right here right now let's go stuff
00:58:21i don't think they're quite understanding the community vibe i don't know whether deep inside
00:58:26they knew that they had done wrong and they were trying to be defensive or whether they didn't
00:58:30understand but yeah we can't be having that still to come the apple fair is on the way she looks
00:58:38like
00:58:38the queen and umar is ready for his drumming debut i would very much like to invite umar and babu
00:58:45to
00:58:46come up here and join me
00:58:58the final day of our shopaholics week in a cornish commune culminates in a celebration of all things
00:59:04apple devil works fast i work faster away from the preparations umar has asked to speak to ben alone
00:59:12to clear the air after the bus stop at the market i think there might have been a bit of
00:59:17change during
00:59:18the week do you think you know how are you feeling coming here has made me realize that time is
00:59:23money
00:59:24like yeah a piece of paper is just not money like multiple things can be money yeah so it kind
00:59:30of opened
00:59:30my eyes to that do you ever like miss your old life sometimes i do sometimes i don't i do
00:59:35think
00:59:35i'm a better person for having given that lifestyle up and i feel more able to help people which is
00:59:42what i've found that i like doing more than being successful right so the fact that you're saying that
00:59:48you're taking positive things away from living our lifestyle is like amazing for me yeah that's like
00:59:53me dropping like a grand on shopping yeah yeah so do you think maybe you might be able to replace
00:59:58that
00:59:59feeling of you know happiness with stuff that's just good about you not just stuff that you're
01:00:05having to buy i'd like to think so because when i buy something that happiness only lasts a good 10
01:00:10minutes remember the beginning of the week when we're talking about finding you know more of your
01:00:14inner self and your inner happiness do you think you found any of that yeah i think so well i
01:00:18pushed
01:00:19away like my creative side i think being here not having my phone and actually getting to explore more
01:00:25of that it's been really fun and i just realized that i still have that in me meeting the new
01:00:31people
01:00:31is been quite life-affirming um i hadn't really quite appreciated how much change there would be
01:00:38to actually affect other people and to help them along their journey is quite empowering and it's
01:00:43quite deep visitors are beginning to arrive to the apple fair so it's all hands on deck hi yeah you're
01:00:53all right you're here for the apple fair great thank you thank you and there's a wristband and if you
01:00:58would like to just drive down that way it hasn't all been smooth sailing but avid tiktoker brideys found
01:01:05that the real connection she's made at cheyenne are better than anything online picture of an apple okay
01:01:12and then cheyenne apple fair it's harder than it looks does the dots make it look moldy the thing
01:01:20i'm going to miss the most from being here is if you ever just want to talk to someone you
01:01:24can go
01:01:24talk to someone and it's a real conversation they look into your eyes they hear you they feel you
01:01:30they embrace you no judgment whatsoever i'm going to really miss that it's straight down the middle
01:01:37like that and then just get your fingers in here and pull this out for label junkie umar time at
01:01:43cheyenne has been a bit of a personal rebrand how's this week been for you it's not as easy as
01:01:48you
01:01:49think is it this week has been one of the most craziest experiences of my life when i first came
01:01:58to
01:01:59cheyenne i was like what type of hippie village am i at and i thought that this week would be
01:02:04helpful
01:02:04me it would be torture but it really wasn't but you challenged yourself you know you could have left
01:02:10yeah yeah i wanted to leave i saw that but you didn't i didn't yeah it's all the stuff that
01:02:17you've
01:02:17done here hopefully helping me forward in life and for pampered princess saffron a week away from her
01:02:24home comforts has given her time to think you're just gonna snip that there and then beautiful i think
01:02:33it's just quieter here and the slower pace of life brings up more now we need that's the tiara 50.
01:02:42the biggest challenge of this week has been the whole bloody week
01:02:47i know that everyone thought i was gonna leave day one myself included but no i stayed the week
01:02:54we're just gonna start gently bending it between our hands so it curves round we're trying to yeah
01:03:00avoid completely snapping it which is a bit moving i'm not proud of myself this week no i'm gonna be
01:03:07real i think there's a lot more i could have tried but there was so much emotion that kept coming
01:03:13over
01:03:13me every time in every single activity i was finding bits of myself that i'd hidden for so long yeah
01:03:19she
01:03:19looks like a queen with the prep out of the way it's time to stop working and start enjoying the
01:03:27fun of
01:03:27the fair can begin
01:03:36they've grown i feel they've all grown the things that they've taken from here i hope they take into
01:03:41their own life they won't even know that they're these things that they've taken to make a slightly
01:03:46different choice i hope that saffron bridey and umar take from this that there is another way of life
01:03:53there is a way of life that has less impact on the planet that is about community
01:04:02umar has been keeping his creative talents under wraps but it's finally his chance to shine
01:04:10never look at you bricking it i would very much like to invite umar and babu to come up here
01:04:18and join
01:04:32me before coming in here i used to think that money is everything and i used to be like money
01:04:36can buy
01:04:37happiness i don't think it can because when i was here i wasn't even thinking about money i was thinking
01:04:41about my family so there's definitely more important things than money
01:04:56amazing yeah go on three years
01:05:01brilliant yeah i think i've just found three friends to be honest yeah they're all lovely
01:05:10in their own ways yeah when's the next show guys underneath all the masks and everything they're
01:05:17just like the rest of us just muddling our way through best we can yeah let me put your hat
01:05:21back
01:05:21on cheers we've crowned the cheyenne king i'm feeling quite sad i just feel really grateful it's
01:05:35really put things into perspective for me i think when i get back there's going to be a few changes
01:05:40i'm going to be more sustainable i'm going to try and sit outside with my bare feet in the grass
01:05:45to feel grounded i'm going to try and meditate
01:05:50and i'm definitely going to keep in touch with these lot
01:05:53just being seen i think that's what they've all missed
01:05:57is just being seen for who they truly are
01:06:00i really do feel like i did find myself at cheyenne and i'm really grateful
01:06:05guys i'm loving it here should we all stay you can't stay like that
01:06:14next time i never thought i would be going back for anything
01:06:18three young people who thought school wasn't worth the bother i don't want to do something and do it
01:06:23bed down in a posh private boarding school which believes in getting results
01:06:27you do have to stick by all of our rules that's crazy
01:06:32you
01:06:34so
01:06:46you
