00:18Hi, nice to meet you. How are you? I'm good, how are you doing? Yeah good thank you. This is
00:23nice and fancy isn't it? I know, I know.
00:26It's got a brunch on a Saturday you know. You know how it is. You're listening to so exciting this
00:31BAFDA weekend. How are you feeling? I'm so excited. It's just such a nice vibe and atmosphere. It's always lovely.
00:41How did you feel when you got that nomination?
00:43Yeah it was lovely. I got nominated a few years back and I was in hospital and I just had
00:50an operation so I couldn't celebrate as much but I've made the most of it this time.
00:55Do you remember where you were this time when you got the nomination?
00:58Yeah well I was just, I was just in my bedroom and then I heard mum from her bedroom just,
01:03Lenny have you seen?
01:06Oh I love that. What does the nomination mean to you?
01:09It's just, it's just nice to have you know some recognition for, because you know it's, it is hard work.
01:19And uh, but no it's just, well I like just coming back every year to be honest. It's nice to
01:24know that I'm coming back.
01:26100% well you deserve it and I'll see you tomorrow. Good luck.
01:29Yeah thanks so much.
01:29Glad to see you. Thank you so much.
01:31Hello. Oh my goodness you look absolutely gorgeous.
01:34Thank you very much.
01:35I'm loving this suit.
01:36It's pretty like diva.
01:38Listen we're here at Apple TV BAFDA branch. How does it feel to be here?
01:42So much fun. I absolutely love London and it was so great that they, that Apple was lovely about sending
01:48us all out with my awesome cast.
01:50Um, so yeah we're just thrilled. Having a great time.
01:52And how does it feel to be here for the BAFDA specifically? Like it's prestigious right?
01:56It's very prestigious. I feel very cool. Probably cooler than I should. Um, yeah no it's, it's fun.
02:01I love going to the BAFDA tea party in Los Angeles all the time but I've never come to the
02:05BAFDA awards or the BAFDA brunch out here. So I'm excited.
02:07How does it compare? Cause I know obviously across the pond there's lots of award shows for TV and stuff.
02:12How does it compare to actually being here BAFDA nominated?
02:15I'm going to have to tell you afterwards. I don't know. It's my first time.
02:20We'll have to do the exit interview.
02:22Tomorrow at the after party.
02:24Exactly. A couple drinks in. We'll do it. We'll do it.
02:28But how cool is it that TV's getting recognized?
02:31I love it. I mean I just think like, I think that whole separation of film and television should have
02:36been over a long time.
02:37A long time ago as far as qualitative judgments.
02:40Um, but I think a lot of people realize now that it's all about, it's all about the storytelling.
02:45Um, and, uh, Vince Gilligan's writing and his crack team of writers and directors that he uses.
02:51It's just, uh, it's so, uh, important to let people like that tell the stories they want to tell.
02:58And the fact that he's doing it in a TV medium, it doesn't make any, I don't care if you
03:01want to do a sky writing.
03:02However he wants to do it is how he should do it.
03:04What was the last TV show you binged?
03:07Binged?
03:09Um, this is stupid because it's the Americans.
03:14So I know that's not helping anybody.
03:16Hot tip, the Americans is great and so is Leftovers.
03:18Um, yeah, I tend to watch things much later after everyone else is finished.
03:23But, uh, current shows I was watching, I'm now watching, um, Widow's Bay.
03:29I was on a Matthew Rhys kick because I did, uh, The Beast in Me as well.
03:33Uh, binged all of the studio and Severance.
03:36I know they're here, right?
03:38Uh, there's Adam.
03:40That's one of them.
03:41Talking the devil in the appears.
03:43Yeah.
03:44Um, what else?
03:45I can't remember.
03:46Anything, anything British with crime.
03:49All about it.
03:50We're good at that.
03:50Awesome.
03:51Thank you so much.
03:51It's lovely to see you.
03:52Thank you very much.
03:54Hey Adam.
03:56How are you doing?
03:57Nice to see you.
03:58What did you just say?
04:02They were like, what have you been for?
04:03And I was like, I just missed.
04:04Oh, you did.
04:05Oh, good.
04:05And then you appeared, it was like miraculous.
04:07It was like meant to be.
04:09Hi.
04:09I love your green suit.
04:10Oh, thanks.
04:11I'm Jordy by the way.
04:11Lovely to meet you.
04:12Hi Jordy.
04:12Welcome to London.
04:14Thanks.
04:14This is very fancy.
04:15How are you feeling?
04:16I'm feeling great.
04:17It's so beautiful out today.
04:19It's incredible.
04:19And yesterday was beautiful as well.
04:21So I feel like that's really lucky in London, right?
04:25Two days in a row.
04:26But I like foggy, cold weather, so.
04:29Well that would suit your vibe in here.
04:31I know.
04:32That's why I love London so much.
04:34But listen Severance, I mean, why do you think it's become such a phenomenon?
04:38I don't know.
04:39I, I, I don't know.
04:41I feel like when we started, when we first premiered in like the spring of 2022, everybody
04:48was kind of emerging from the pandemic and deciding whether or not to get back to the office or
04:55stay home.
04:55And I feel like everybody's relationship with work was shifting and we came on around that
05:02time.
05:03So for whatever reason, it, it kind of connected.
05:08What's the wildest thing anyone's ever said to you about the show?
05:11It usually has something to do with goats.
05:14You know, people have all sorts of theories about the goats.
05:19And all I say now is like, we answered that question in season two, or at least I thought
05:25we did.
05:26So.
05:27Do you get a lot of in-y and out-y chat?
05:29Sure.
05:30Yeah.
05:31Which is great.
05:32I love that people care enough about it to actually start a conversation with me about
05:37the show.
05:38It's like, it's great.
05:39And listen, how did it feel when that BAFTA nomination came in for the show?
05:43Oh, it was incredible.
05:45It's such a huge, huge honor.
05:47I mean, the BAFTAs are amazing.
05:49I, I, I've been to the, the, uh, film BAFTAs and this is my first time at the TV one.
05:56So I'm so, so very, very excited.
05:58Can I tell you a secret?
05:59It's a big party tomorrow.
06:01Oh, really?
06:01Oh, good.
06:02Everyone lets loose because it's sunny.
06:04Oh, great.
06:04Like, you know what I mean?
06:05Is it outside?
06:06Yeah, well, the after party bit's outside and it's so nice.
06:09But the ceremony is inside?
06:11Inside you.
06:12Okay, got it.
06:13But you'll want that because it's going to be hot tomorrow.
06:14So you'll want a wee break.
06:16Sure.
06:16And then back out when it's a bit cooler.
06:18Can't wait.
06:18Yeah, fresco.
06:19Can't wait.
06:20I'll see you at the after party.
06:21All right.
06:21Thank you so much.
06:22Lovely to meet you.
06:23Thank you for your time.
06:24She's good to meet you.
06:25I'm Joel.
06:26I'm Cush.
06:27Nice to meet you.
06:28Love your accent.
06:29Thank you very much.
06:29One of my faves.
06:30I was going to say, are you used to it because of our pizza?
06:32Listen, I'm not going to lie.
06:33Not just pizza.
06:34David.
06:35I seem to only work with Doctor Who's these days, so.
06:37And Scottish ones?
06:38Yes.
06:39And I did the Scottish play twice recently.
06:41So I was surrounded by Scots.
06:43So you're making me feel at home.
06:44You're basically an honorary scholar at this point.
06:49I'm in charge.
06:50I'm doing the Queen of Scots.
06:51Okay, great.
06:51Then I'm in.
06:53Who wouldn't want to be in?
06:54One of the greatest places on earth.
06:55I love Scotland.
06:56Oh my God, I love that.
06:57Listen, Criminal Record.
06:59Wow.
07:00What a show.
07:02What's it been like being a part of that?
07:04I can't really describe how amazing it is to develop something from the beginning.
07:07Peter and I have known each other over like nearly 20 years.
07:12And when we first met, it was like meeting one of your heroes.
07:14I didn't know we were going to become really good friends out of it.
07:17And that we'd have this whole like existence of wanting to work together, but never quite
07:20making it work.
07:22And to be able to come together and be like, we both love police shows.
07:25We both love London.
07:26We've never made a show in London that we really love.
07:28It's been amazing.
07:30And the response to it has been amazing.
07:32And my mum is literally messaging me once a day like, you're still number one in the
07:36UK.
07:37You're still number one.
07:38I'm like, calm down, mother.
07:39But it is nice.
07:40It's really, really nice.
07:41That's incredible.
07:42Why do you think it's resonated so much?
07:43We just love crime, don't we?
07:45I mean, I think, as we all know, we all love a crime show.
07:49But I think the difference with Criminal Record, as well as the fact that it's showing London,
07:54I think, in a way that's pretty realistic.
07:56I'm a Londoner.
07:57I grew up in London.
07:58It can be dirty and it can be beautiful, but there's beauty in all of its grit and dirt.
08:02So I think it's that.
08:03Also, I don't think we shy away from some of the subject matter that we're working with,
08:09living in very dark, confronting times.
08:13And I like that we face those conversations head on.
08:17It's not a show about goodies and baddies.
08:20And I've never been interested in playing a goodie or a baddie.
08:23Because baddies are good for good reasons, and goodies are baddies for other reasons.
08:27And so I think that people resonate with it because it's realistic.
08:32And I really love that.
08:33I'm so proud of it.
08:34Amazing.
08:35Well, go and enjoy your brunch.
08:36I will.
08:37Lovely to see you.
08:38Thank you so much.
08:38Lovely to see you.
08:39Thank you so much.
08:40And you're an honorary Scott Knight.
08:41Oh, thank you.
08:42Get me a badge.
08:43I will.
08:43I will.
08:44I'll bring one tomorrow.
08:46How are you?
08:47We met on Zoom.
08:48We did.
08:48How are you?
08:49And now we're here in real life.
08:50Yeah, yeah.
08:50Here we go.
08:51Is that accent going to get stronger now that I'm talking to you?
08:53Yeah, it will come out.
08:55I love it.
08:56Listen, I'm really excited for you.
08:58I feel like you're one of Scotland's very big rising stars.
09:01How is life with Solly right now?
09:03It's really good, actually.
09:04It's been a busy couple of years.
09:07No complaints.
09:10I'm enjoying a small rest.
09:11I have a feeling it's going to kind of pick up again soon as things start releasing.
09:14Have you been loving all the TV stuff you've got to do?
09:17Yeah, absolutely.
09:18Absolutely.
09:18This is always fun.
09:20It's nice.
09:20And then you get to chat to people like me.
09:22Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:23And you remind me of home.
09:24It's great.
09:25I know.
09:26Well, actually, I was speaking to your co-stars and someone went,
09:28Solly's not Scottish.
09:29And I was like, yes.
09:30Yes, he is.
09:31Yes.
09:31Who was it that said?
09:32It was Anna Maxwell-Martin.
09:34I'm going to have a word with Anna.
09:35Work on...
09:36Do you know what I mean?
09:37Make sure you're always...
09:38You just walk about the night route at all times.
09:39Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:41Do you not feel like Scotland's having such a moment right now?
09:43Like, I mean, TV, film...
09:45I mean, almost go up, like...
09:46Yeah, absolutely.
09:48No, there's a lot.
09:48There's a lot.
09:49And there's a lot that seems to be filming up there as well, which is really great.
09:52I was up there not that long ago doing a TV sunset.
09:54It was nice to be shooting up there with a brilliant Scottish crew and other actors.
09:58It was really great.
09:59How amazing was it to be in Star City?
10:02I mean, the first episode you were literally jumping out of a plane, like...
10:05Yeah, yeah.
10:06Which I have done, by the way.
10:07Have you?
10:08Yeah.
10:08Not in preparation for this.
10:10I did it when I was a bit younger, but...
10:12It's not easy.
10:14It's not easy.
10:15So, essentially, you did your own stunts?
10:16Is what you're saying?
10:16So, I did my own stunts a couple of years before I did the certain one.
10:19It was good.
10:19I loved Star City.
10:21It was such a family unit as the cast and the crew and everyone involved, the creators.
10:26We really felt like we were...
10:28We felt like we were doing something special and we just loved doing it with each other.
10:32Well, go and enjoy your brunch and I'll see you soon.
10:35Lovely to see you.
10:35We've been flying that far.
10:36Yeah, yeah, yeah.
10:37Love it to see you.
10:38I think we've met on Zoom many, many moons ago.
10:41I think very, very many, many moons ago.
10:43Many moons ago.
10:43Listen, how does it feel to be here at the Apple BAFTA brunch?
10:46I mean, this is the fourth year that I've come to the Apple BAFTA brunch.
10:51Okay then, sorry.
10:52I know.
10:52I know.
10:53I'm just like...
10:54It's a step up every year and it's like one of the best things of the BAFTA weekend.
10:58So, I'm thrilled to be here.
10:59It's very fancy.
10:59It's very fancy.
11:00Some good food, some good cocktails and really great company.
11:03Look how lovely everyone looks.
11:06Listen, so horses.
11:07I mean, it's such a phenomenon.
11:08Why do you think people love it so much?
11:11I think it's a different kind of tone.
11:14It's dark.
11:15It's witty.
11:16It's kind of relatable to a lot of people because everyone kind of feels like they're
11:20stuck at a point in their life but you still have to continue on.
11:23And they get up to some really exciting happenstance.
11:26So, I think that's why.
11:27What's it like working with your Jack and Gary?
11:30I mean, they two.
11:30What are they like?
11:32I mean, they're...
11:33How do you say it?
11:34A Dumb and Dumber app?
11:35Yes.
11:35Just like that.
11:39Yeah, they're wonderful.
11:41We've been doing the show now for nearly five and a half years.
11:45And it's like a family.
11:46So, it's kind of...
11:49They're really wonderful.
11:51Everyone's really wonderful on the show.
11:52I can't speak highly enough about it.
11:54Is it so witty on set?
11:56Is it just constant banter?
11:58Absolutely.
11:59Everyone is always trying to improve the scene.
12:02Sometimes to the point where the director has to kind of rein us in a little bit
12:05because we're having far too much fun.
12:07But it's definitely a great job to be on to improvise.
12:12Do you think it's one of those shows that you would just do forever until they say no?
12:16Yeah, I think so.
12:17There's not really many shows that will allow me to be a character that's so completely obnoxious.
12:23Yes, yes.
12:24And anyone that's going to allow me to say exactly what's on my mind is definitely worth it.
12:28I know because you're such a gentleman in real life.
12:30Do you know what I mean?
12:30Oh, thank you very much.
12:32I'm glad that that's coming through now.
12:34It always comes through.
12:35But really my actual ego is foddy.
12:37It's okay.
12:38All right, okay.
12:39Listen.
12:39So maybe this is all an act.
12:41Who knows?
12:41Well, you're a great actor.
12:42We'd never know.
12:44Thank you so much.
12:45It's lovely to see you again.
12:46Enjoy your fourth BAFTA brunch.
12:47Thank you very much.
12:49Hi.
12:50I know.
12:51I know.
12:51Nice to see you again.
12:52You as well.
12:53I wasn't sure whether you guys would remember me but here we are.
12:56I'm going to say you are a standout.
12:58Please tell me we're rolling.
13:00Please tell me we're rolling.
13:01Because you do a lot of interviews and we were like, yeah, you left and we were like,
13:05bring her back.
13:06Are you joking?
13:07Yeah, I'm not joking.
13:08Oh my God, that means everything.
13:10I love how that interview just went so chaotic towards the end.
13:13Oh my God.
13:13It just went so lefty.
13:15I bumped into, because that was when we were, were we talking about Solly being topless?
13:18Yes.
13:19I bumped into Solly.
13:20Obviously I saw him that night and I was like, I did talk about you being topless for like,
13:24I'm going to say 15 minutes and he was like, I love it.
13:27It's fair.
13:27Thank God.
13:28I know.
13:29Oh my God.
13:29But imagine if he'd been like, I know.
13:32I know.
13:33Listen.
13:33He obviously would.
13:35You've got to embrace it.
13:36Do you know what I mean?
13:37Exactly.
13:37Yeah.
13:38And he knows what he's got.
13:39Listen, Star City, what a show to be a part of, right?
13:43I can't believe it.
13:44I literally pinch myself all the time.
13:47We filmed for like six months, but still like now it's coming out and we've seen it.
13:51I'm so proud of it.
13:52I'm so proud of it.
13:54Which is a nice feeling to be like, we were all watching it and like holding each other's
13:58hands and I think it's going to be good.
14:01I know it's not out yet, but how do you feel in this moment?
14:04Like the pre, just before it's about to come out?
14:07I feel good, you know.
14:08I think often, and that's not normal for me.
14:10I'm normally quite anxious.
14:12You too.
14:13Girl.
14:13If I can worry, I will worry.
14:16But I think because I genuinely enjoyed watching it, I'm like, hopefully people will watch it.
14:24But I feel like people will like it.
14:26Like I genuinely feel like it's really thrilling.
14:29It's really like moving.
14:32So I'm like, wait, I just want people to watch it.
14:35It's for astronauts.
14:36I mean, it's going to sell.
14:37Do you know what I mean?
14:38For astronauts?
14:38Space sells.
14:40Having a hard time.
14:43Oh my God, what you said to me means so much, honestly.
14:46Really?
14:47I really meant it.
14:48And when I just saw you there, I was like, oh, thank God.
14:50Let's hug it out.
14:52It's so amazing to see you.
14:54So nice to see you.
14:55Jodie.
14:56Jodie.
14:56Jodie, Queen of Scots.
14:58Jodie, Queen of Scots.
14:59I'll see you tomorrow.
15:00Thank you so much.
15:01See you tomorrow.
15:01Lots of love to you.
15:04Did you know that you wore that for me?
15:05That was why you knew I was here.
15:06Yeah.
15:07Obviously, I had to.
15:08How does it feel to be here at the Apple Bar de Brunch?
15:11I mean, amazing.
15:13I'm sort of, I haven't really registered anything at all.
15:18I'm still like, you know, yeah.
15:22But listen, a BAFTA nomination, I mean, you can't take that in your stride, right?
15:27Yeah, yeah, yeah.
15:28Crazy.
15:29Crazy.
15:30I honestly, I really am, like, it's all, yeah.
15:35Yeah.
15:36Is it going to change you?
15:37Do you think, do you think you'll introduce yourself now as, I'm BAFTA nominated?
15:41Because I would.
15:42Er, I will from this point on.
15:45Hi BAFTA nominated.
15:46Thank you, Balaga.
15:46Lovely to meet you.
15:48Lovely to meet you BAFTA nominated.
15:50Like the Queen.
15:52Or Madame, Madame.
15:53Listen.
15:54I would.
15:55Because not a lot of people can say that.
15:57No, they can't.
15:59No, they can't.
15:59It's really funny because my mum doesn't really get it.
16:03So when I told her, oh, mum, I've been nominated for BAFTA, she was a bit like, wow, amazing.
16:11In the back of the fridge, can you bring my, it's like in the same breath.
16:15And I was like, okay, cool.
16:16Can you remember where you were when you found out?
16:19Yeah.
16:19I was in the woods.
16:21I was hiking.
16:22I love hiking.
16:23And I was literally just, in the woods, and I had, I was on like, do not disturb.
16:28And I looked at my phone and I had like loads of missed calls.
16:32And then I, and then my partner called me and she's like, it's happened.
16:36And I was like, what's happened?
16:37She's like, you've been nominated.
16:38And I was like, oh, oh, okay.
16:42Are you going to put it in like all your social media bios now BAFTA nominated?
16:47Absolutely.
16:48Are you going to be sick of me?
16:49No, no.
16:50You're going to be sick of me.
16:52I would be insufferable, honestly.
16:56Laugh it up.
16:56I'll see you tomorrow.
16:57Yeah, see you tomorrow.
16:58Good luck.
16:59And thank you for wearing the Scotland flag.
17:02Always.
17:03Always.
17:04Hi, I'm Jodie.
17:05Nice to see you.
17:06I feel like we get virtually for Star City.
17:08Yes.
17:09Yes, we do.
17:10We did.
17:10I was trying to think if it was in person or virtual, but we did the virtual chat.
17:14But now in the flesh, looking gorgeous.
17:15And now we're here.
17:16I love your tights.
17:17Oh my goodness, you look incredible.
17:19No.
17:19I thought I'd try to look like a sort of serious person on the top and then something went
17:24wrong down the bottom.
17:25And that's the best way.
17:27Do you know what I mean?
17:28Business on the top, party at the bottom.
17:30No.
17:30That sounds wrong.
17:32Yeah.
17:33I think that sounds right.
17:35Really right.
17:35Yeah.
17:35Listen, how did it feel to be here at the Apple bathroom brunch?
17:39I feel nervous.
17:42Oh no, doesn't it?
17:43No, no.
17:44And really happy because I have had a free champagne and it was delicious.
17:50And honestly, I've seen people who I think are gorgeous and talented and so I'm nervous,
17:57but not in an existential dread way.
18:00Yeah.
18:00Just in a happy butterfly way, I think.
18:03Yeah.
18:03Who do you think you'd be most starstruck by doing good at all?
18:13I can't remember his name, but I was struck.
18:19He's so powerful that he makes you forget everything.
18:24And I know who I'm thinking about and I can't remember his name.
18:28Seth Rogen, Adam Scott.
18:31Yes, Adam Scott.
18:33Do you know what he is?
18:35He actually, he's got like a Men in Black little pen and it raises your memory.
18:39That's what it is.
18:40Yeah.
18:40I was watching the television in a hotel the other day and they had Men in Black on like
18:45the whole time.
18:47I mean, what a movie.
18:48What a movie.
18:49It was never not on.
18:50Really, really stunning work there.
18:53How are you feeling about Star City coming out?
18:55It's very soon now.
18:56I feel really excited.
18:58Like a bunch of us are here today.
18:59So that helps with feeling the nerves, feeling more happy vibes.
19:05I just, I personally, I suppose I'm biased, but I love the show.
19:10I just really love it.
19:11And I love, love working with the team.
19:15And I really, I think they're all really, I'm, I just, I hope people enjoy it.
19:20Yeah.
19:20Because I, I think it's, I think it's special.
19:23I don't know.
19:24Yeah.
19:25I love it.
19:25You smashed it honestly.
19:27Listen, go and get another drink and just enjoy it.
19:31Black it up.
19:32Honestly, lap up the free booth.
19:34And there's canapes that are delicious.
19:36Just like, I'm going to go soak it up and I'm going to get the canopy into just to keep
19:40it all in balance.
19:40This is your life now.
19:42Do you know what I mean?
19:43Enjoy.
19:44Embrace it.
19:44Lovely to see you again, my angel.
19:46Lovely to see you soon.
19:47See you soon.
19:48Hi, Seth.
19:49I'm Jodie.
19:50Lovely to meet you.
19:50I like your tweed suits.
19:52Lovely.
19:53Welcome to London.
19:54It's BAFTA weekend.
19:56It is.
19:56How are you feeling?
19:57I feel good.
19:58I've never been to this or been invited to this and it's, it's very exciting.
20:03So yeah, always nice.
20:04How did you feel when you got that BAFTA nomination for the studio?
20:08It was really cool and completely unexpected.
20:11And yeah, I think as a comedy, especially like when you're up against dramatic things,
20:18you don't necessarily expect to get any recognition whatsoever.
20:21And so it, it was very exciting.
20:24Yeah.
20:25I know it's done so well across the pond, but how does it compare to have a BAFTA nomination?
20:30It's very cool.
20:31It seems much fancier.
20:33Yeah.
20:34Yeah.
20:34I would say it feels fancier to me personally.
20:37Yeah.
20:38Why do you think the show has resonated so much?
20:40I mean, I really hope just cause it's, I think, I think cause it's funny.
20:46Like I think just cause we work very hard to make it as funny as it can be.
20:52And we try to make it outwardly comedic and, and we really try to let the performers be funny.
20:59And, and I think, you know, as like specific as a thing that it's about, I think the storylines
21:08and the comedy in it is pretty universal and easy for everyone to wrap their head around.
21:12Does it feel like more special as well cause it's a TV series getting recognized?
21:17Yeah.
21:17I mean, it's funny.
21:18Like I've been making movies a very long time and we've never gotten any recognition in
21:22any way, shape or form.
21:23And so, yes, it's, it's thrilling.
21:25Yeah.
21:25And obviously Catherine O'Hara, absolute legend, obviously so devastated that we've
21:30lost a true light of the industry.
21:32I mean, how do you guys feel going into the next season?
21:36Um, I mean, it's very hard and, uh, and very sad and it's a constant topic of conversation
21:44and, um, but at the same time, I think working, you know, getting to spend all day, every day
21:49with like the people who really worked closely with her and knew her and kind of getting
21:55all moved through it together, I think has been therapeutic in a lot of ways.
21:59Yeah.
21:59Amazing.
22:00Well, listen, I need to let you get on, but I will see you tomorrow.
22:02Good luck.
22:03Yes.
22:03Thank you so much.
22:05Hi.
22:05How are you?
22:06Good to meet you.
22:07Cheers.
22:08Good to see you.
22:09Yeah.
22:10Pretty lovely.
22:11Congratulations.
22:12Well, thank you.
22:12Thank you for your BAFTA weekend.
22:13How are you feeling?
22:14I'm, I'm a big, uh, Anglophile.
22:17I love, uh, Great Britain and, uh, as a little boy, I imagine one day I'll be at the BAFTAs
22:25and here we are.
22:26Um, even though I'm Seth's seat filler, so when he comes back in, I do have to leave.
22:31Right.
22:32So that is your official title for tomorrow?
22:34Yes.
22:34Yes.
22:35Yeah.
22:35Yeah.
22:35Because that way I'm making a couple, couple of pounds too, so it's pretty good.
22:39But how does it feel to be nominated?
22:41I mean, BAFTA nominated as well.
22:43It's amazing.
22:44It's, we love this show.
22:46We love doing it.
22:47And it's one thing when the folks in LA, in the business love it, but to have people
22:52across the pond, uh, respond to it is, it's a real dream.
22:56And I might see Steve Coogan at some time, which I will properly geek out at.
23:02Get him in the studio.
23:03Get him in it.
23:04My dream.
23:06Why do you think the show has resonated so much?
23:09Well, I think it, it, it, it, it's fun.
23:13It gives you the showbiz vibes that you want.
23:16But I also think some of the themes they deal with in the episodes, professional jealousy,
23:22a coworker who drives you crazy.
23:24Those are pretty universal, whatever field you're in, whatever country you're in.
23:28Um, so, uh, and, and we're also very stupid and we like to fall down a lot and look dumb.
23:33And I think that people like it.
23:35People love it.
23:36Well, listen, it's great to see you.
23:37Good luck.
23:37I'll see you tomorrow.
23:38Cheers.
23:39We'll see you tomorrow.
23:40Good luck.
