00:00Whitney Leavitt is leaving the cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
00:04The reality star announced that she is departing the Hulu series during her final performance in
00:09the musical Chicago on Sunday. The Hollywood Reporter further confirmed that she is exiting
00:13the show. Leavitt has been a full-time cast member on the Emmy-nominated reality series
00:18since its debut in September of 2024. After an impressive turn on Dancing with the Stars,
00:23she joined Chicago on Broadway to star as Roxy Hart. She's also set to make her feature debut
00:29in a holiday rom-com that she's also executive producing later this year. During her starring
00:33turn in Chicago, the musical earned its highest recorded total. After extending her Broadway stay,
00:39her Dancing with the Stars professional partner Mark Ballas also joined her for a number of shows.
00:44The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star teased her potential exit from the show in a March profile
00:49with THR. She explained that she was focused on pursuing more acting projects and that she was
00:54in the midst of figuring out what her future with the unscripted series would look like.
00:58She said at the time,
00:59I'm figuring it out in real time. We're figuring it out together, but it feels like that's the
01:04trajectory of where it's going. But again, I wouldn't be where I am without it. But it feels
01:08like it's time to challenge myself in other ways and fulfill these dreams and passions that I've been
