00:00that David Green is duly elected as a member of Parliament for the Kaithness, Sutherland and Ross constituency.
00:15Change takes more than one voice in a room or one name on a ballot paper.
00:21It takes a team.
00:22And I am so grateful to be supported by such a talented campaign team.
00:27So to my legendary agent, Craig Harrow, who has Highland politics in his bones,
00:32to our staff, led by Tracy and Innes, and to our many volunteers,
00:37in particular, of course, Jamie Stone, David, Stuart, Jan, Tim, John and Connie.
00:44And to all those who have been with me from the very start, Angela, Duncan and Sheila, thank you so

00:51This was an election about the issues that matter.
00:53It was about the young people in our communities who can't afford a warm home.
00:58About the patients stuck in hospital because there isn't a social care package to receive them at home.
01:04And it was about the mums to be in Kaithness, who have to travel 100 mile plus journeys in order
01:09to give birth at hospital in Inverness.
01:12They deserve better.
01:14And I will demand better for them.
01:17And let me just finish with this.
01:19Today, the Scottish Liberal Democrats have turned a page.
01:23This is a new chapter for our movement.
01:26Right across the Highlands, the flame of liberalism is burning bright.
01:30And that is needed now more than ever.
01:33We are not just here to make up the numbers.
01:36We are here to get things done.
01:37And that is exactly what we will do.
