Some experiments are less about discovery than simply watching what happens.

In the clip, a dead bee lies still as a laser is aimed at its body.

"I decided to pass the laser on a dead bee," the filmer, Matheus, told WooGlobe.

The beam is applied repeatedly, and the insect’s form gradually changes as sections darken and break down.

Over successive passes, the remaining material diminishes until only ash is left.

The steady, methodical pacing turns a small object into a clear demonstration of heat and precision at close range.

Filmed in Brazil, the moment ends with the bee reduced to a fine residue.
