00:07removing page number in ms word is a straightforward process whether you want to remove them from the

00:14entire document or just a specific section if you want to keep page numbers but hide the one

00:21on your cover page so for this you need to double click the header and footer area of the first

00:27page and then in the header and footer tab that appears on the ribbon now look for the option

00:35group and now check the box that says different first page and that is click on that you will

00:44notice that the page number on the first page will disappear while the others remain like here you can

00:52see that two and three and four if you want to remove all pages number two of the document

00:58instantly then open the word document again and go to the insert tab and in the header and footer area

01:07here is that you will see that page number click on this small arrow and now click on this remove

01:14number and here you can see that all page numbers are gone if the above method doesn't work which can

01:22happen with certain templates so you can remove them manually for this you need to double click near the

01:28top or bottom of any page where the number is located to open the header and footer view now select

01:35number and press the delete or backspace to remove it manually and here you can see that
