00:00The Dodgers could have had a much more disastrous end of their road trip this week.
00:04They did take two of three from the Astros.
00:06They're kind of continuing to just grind along at .500 over the last few weeks.
00:11But yesterday, they did lose Tyler Glasnow at least early in his start to a back injury,
00:17a back spasm, as he called it afterwards.
00:20The good news is that he doesn't think it's serious.
00:23This is something that, I mean, if you followed the Dodgers the last couple years
00:27or Tyler Glasnow over his career, you know, back problems have been a thing.
00:32He credited it to just being tall and going through all the way back to high school
00:37like a couple times a year where it just kind of gives out on him, spasms a little bit.
00:41So he's getting an MRI today.
00:43I guess it's possible he could miss a start or two.
00:46He had to do that a couple years ago.
00:48It doesn't seem like it's going to be anything more severe than that.
00:51I think, do you buy that and kind of what would you do here,
00:54especially when you look at, like, Blake Snell's coming back?
00:57As we talked about last episode, you were going to have to make a decision
01:00between Roki Sasaki and Emmett Sheehan and Justin Robleski.
01:04How does this kind of change that calculus, if at all?
01:06You know, for his sake, right, you kind of hope that this isn't going to kind of derail
01:10whatever progress he was making.
01:13And, right, even he looked like a legitimate Cy Young contender.
01:16That said, you know, I guess we're just not too far removed from the Edwin Diaz thing
01:20where he told me it was his knee and he was totally fine.
01:23And a week later, he's having elbow surgery.
01:26So, yeah, you know, you never know, right?
01:29I mean, I think that these guys don't want to really admit when they're hurt and stuff.
01:32And sometimes they don't know themselves, right?
01:33And the fact that, look, here's the thing, though.
01:35They're concerned enough that they're putting him in a tube today, right?
01:38That is not a comfortable experience.
01:39You don't do that if it's just like, oh, I just think that, you know,
01:42this is, I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
01:44So, we'll see.
