00:05:35My dad is the biggest hero of them all, really.
00:05:38He's been to every single gig I have done.

00:05:46My dad's been doing music since a very young age,
00:05:50and I've seen my dad, you know,
00:05:53push his music aside to make room for mine.
00:05:56So I don't think I would have been able to,

00:52:15I had something called Clivocordoma, which is a very rare form of sarcoma.
00:52:20I had stage 4 brain cancer and music was, like, always there throughout treatment.
00:52:26It's unreal to know how much music has helped these people through their journey.
00:52:30Did they play music when you were having radiation?
00:52:32Yeah, I was able to pick my playlist.
00:52:35Yes, it was us!
00:52:35Every, like, weekend, I would, like, choose, like, a playlist, like, for the week, depending
00:52:40on what I felt like.
00:52:41Nice.
00:52:42Yep.
00:52:42It's such a powerful tool and it's such a universal language, which is really uplifting
00:52:47and nice to see.
