00:00Welcome back to Upgrade My Life, the series where I am attempting to upgrade my tiny apartment nook into an
00:05awesome home workspace.
00:06Last time I added the Blackmagic micro color panel to my desk and started looking through some chair recommendations.
00:13Keep those coming guys.
00:14Alright everyone, I am looking for some recommendations here so listen up.
00:18My main workstation desk was in a pretty decent spot so I wanted to turn my attention to my corner
00:23desk.
00:23I have so many different ideas for what this can become, but at the moment it feels like it's a
00:28cluster of many different things kind of jammed away in the corner.
00:31So I decided to start organizing it a bit better and I am counting on you guys to help with
00:35suggestions of what I can do with this space.
00:37Here are a few things I'm using to help keep things organized and aesthetic.
00:41These gray storage shelves are from a company called Way Basics on Amazon.
00:45They were pretty cheap, easy to assemble, and it was about $85 for all four.
00:49I'm a big collector and gamer, so displaying some of my collection with these helps add a personal touch to
00:54my space.
00:55Speaking of collection, I recently got my copy of Final Fantasy VII signed at an autograph event at Nintendo New
01:01York and wanted something that could help me preserve it.
01:03I bought this 2-pack acrylic display case for Switch games for $40.
01:08It's clear, thick, and has UV protection so I know this item will be in pristine condition over time.
01:13For my amiibo, I used the Diorama Kit from Amazon for $10.
01:17Super simple, foldable cardboard to display my figures.
01:20And this one's Smash Bros. themed, but there are other themes.
01:23Because my main setup uses a Mac Studio, but I use a MacBook Pro for work, I got this dual
01:28laptop dock from Okiwood for $110.
01:31It's premium and can hold my laptop in a nice spot while it charges or if I just want to
01:36make room with my main desk.
01:37I'm thinking this space could be used as a charging space, display for my collection, and maybe a top-down
01:43camera area for my unboxing videos.
01:45I'm not sure yet and would appreciate any suggestions or feedback from you guys, so let me know in the
01:49comments.
01:50And while you're down there, maybe a chair recommendation?
