Nine new Halo Points have been introduced across Liverpool city centre as part of Operation Halo. Police, council leaders and partners say the scheme aims to improve safety and support within the night-time economy.

00:18support for anyone feeling vulnerable during a night out. The scheme builds on the introduction
00:23of trained violence against women and girls champions working across venues in the city's
00:28nighttime economy. Police say that the locations were identified following a risk assessment,
00:34highlighting busy nightlife areas as high-risk locations.
00:38The project is funded through the Home Office Hyperlocal Policing Fund.
