Live cameras are back on the Farne Islands, giving views of puffins and other seabirds as breeding season gets underway. The National Trust says last year’s stream drew more than a quarter of a million viewers.

00:34weather patterns are also being closely monitored as part of wider climate-linked research into seabird survival.
