00:00It used to be called the first Monday in May. Now, the first Monday of Bay.
00:04Of Bay. Beyonce returned to the Met Gala red carpet after 10 years.
00:09You were there. You were there. We should just tell everybody you were there.
00:11I was there. No big deal. I'm still wearing my borrowed Bristillo jewels, guys.
00:15So I'm a little bit decked out. But yeah, it was, you know, it was magic.
00:20It was everything I hoped it would be. Seeing her, seeing the big return.
00:25The whole buzz on the carpet before she got there is like, it's beyond, like, you know, every star said,
00:29I can't wait to see Beyonce. They were yelling their favorite Beyonce songs.
00:32It was like really a special moment. She was very engaged with like waving and reporters on the carpet.
00:38She just was glowing the whole thing. She wore a crown.
00:41That's what queens do. Exactly. Exactly.
00:44The best part is she brought the blue with her. She brought her daughter.
00:47And it was like the moment of the Met Gala. And my feet were throbbing.
00:52And I was like, OK, this is like one of those like really surreal, cool, pinch me job moments.
00:59But she was epic. She looked incredible. I mean, what did you feel?
01:02Humble me. I watched from my laptop at home. So, so bowled over by Beyonce.
01:09I mean, like you said, it's been 10 years. We've all been waiting for this moment.
01:13It took them anointing her co-chair to get her to come back.
01:16So I just want to make her co-chair of anything to get her to go anywhere.
01:19I would love that for us. But like you said, the big moment was seeing 14-year-old Blue Ivy
01:25shut down the carpet and her shades. Like she was so cool. I shot my shot with Blue.
01:30Blue, how's your first met? How is it? You look awesome, Blue. Who are you wearing?
01:36She was just like glowing and having so much fun. But like Beyonce like was clocking her the whole
01:41time. She looked so proud. So normally you have to be 18 to show up to the Met Gala, right?
01:45There's like strict rules. They have a lot of rules. And we know Blue showed up at 14 looking,
01:50you know, flawless. And she wasn't the only one. Nicole Kidman, co-chair, brought her daughter,
01:56Sunday Rose, who's 17. She's a rising model. And mother and daughter are wearing matching
02:01butt grazing extensions together, which I thought was a really special moment.
02:06It's a rite of passage.
02:07It's a rite of passage. Nicole also did look very proud on the carpet. You know, it was a really
02:12fun
02:13like kind of interaction to watch behind the scenes. But I just like couldn't stop staring at their
02:17like hair down. The coolest thing about seeing the two of them on the red carpet where they're
02:21matching poses, right? Like you have Nicole and Chanel, Sunday Rose and Dior, and they're turning
02:27their backs to one another and like leaning in. And it was just like such a fun moment.
02:32Also, I heard Sunday went to school today.
02:34Nicole said Sunday had to go to school.
02:36Oh, yeah. That was it.
02:38At eight o'clock in the morning, to be exact. So that's a pretty cool flex.
