00:00positive oh check this out this is strange this came from 200 feet in the money pit
00:05that's incredible oh yeah oh you got it oh my gosh oh wow it's treasure from the money pit
00:12spoils that's amazing yeah and it's ours
00:19there is an island in the north atlantic where people have been looking for an incredible
00:25treasure for more than 200 years so far they have found a stone slab with strange symbols
00:33carved into it man-made workings that date to medieval times and a lead cross whose origin
00:40may be connected to the Knights Templar to date six men have died trying to solve the mystery
00:48and according to legend one more will have to die before the treasure can be found
01:10oh guys it's a new day so I'm optimistic here in money pit one
01:15Terry remind me what depth we finished at yesterday finished up at 138 okay winter
01:19is fast approaching on Oak Island which means the year will soon come to an end for Rick Marty and
01:26their team but as they excavate a key target in the money pit area they may have all the time
01:33they need to solve a 231 year old mystery just about 12 to 20 feet short of the actual solution
01:41channel top so high hopes we're just now getting to the most interesting depth and it's only going
01:46to get better from here on out and that's music to my ears because that means it could be artifacts
01:51at
01:51any level we're going through the seven foot diameter shaft known as money pit one or MP1 is located in
02:01a
02:01region where soil and water tests for more than 200 feet deep in the solution channel have revealed
02:07unnaturally high traces of silver
02:18and even more compelling is the fact that those silver levels match the composition of the so-called
02:25Pitbladocoin a 14th century silver coin reportedly extracted from the original money pit in 1849 by a
02:34drilling foreman named James Pitbladocoin a 14th century silver coin reportedly extracted from the original money pit in 1849 by
02:46a drilling foreman named James Pitbladocoin
02:53is that it
03:01piece of drill part piece of drill but looks about two inches
03:05yeah it's a little bigger than that inch and a half stuff so it's a little different isn't it
03:10yeah okay we're interested to see how old that is yeah well that was an interesting go what'd you find
03:17two inch pipe two inch pipe yeah so the last time we found two inch pipe out here that dated
03:23in
03:24the lab to mid 1800s right we figured it may be connected to the Pitbladoc incident right yeah I think
03:29this is more of that same pipe yeah earlier this year as the team was core drilling just a few
03:36feet from
03:36this location they recovered an identical piece of drill pipe that was scientifically dated to the same
03:43era as James fit Plato's drilling operation we are chasing the collapse of the money pit so it's
03:50possible that we are in the vicinity of the original money pit exactly it's an interesting artifact hey
03:56guys hey hello morning how you doing well we're at 151 right we're gonna push pretty hard here on this
04:03these next few turns sounds good stuff everything from here on out is gonna be good for us I think
04:09yeah
04:10good hey guys thank you for the update yeah see my onward and downward for sure mm-hmm target depth's
04:17about 215 we just gotta get down there as the dig continues in the mp1 shaft hey Laird Fiona I
04:28got my
04:28support troops here today sure do yeah Marty brings Rick to the mysterious stone cradle on lot eight to
04:35update him on a potentially important recent discovery so Rick I dug a trench over there to
04:41see if there was something underneath it what if it covered the tunnel yeah then I dug down to bedrock
04:48yeah you both observed I was pounding on it the teeth were scraping and you were hitting it directly
04:54yeah after the team previously found evidence of both silver and a possible shaft buried below the
05:02mysterious cradle of stones Marty dug a trench to the side of it in search of a possible tunnel
05:10however he was surprised to reach bedrock just six feet down which is at a shallower depth than the
05:17cradle feature here's where you come in Ian Laird never hit bedrock in the stone cradle it's as if
05:24this was dug through the bedrock right topographic change of rock over a short distance isn't something
05:30I've experienced anywhere mm-hmm it's impossible to be more surprised than we were to find that rock
05:36cradle it's intentional it's purposeful so I think there's more work to be done to come to an understanding
05:42of what this is is there something Hunter here we need to find out a lot eight feature represents
05:49one of the most enigmatic finds on the island and feeling alert of taking the time to uncover the cradle
05:55but we're going to run out of time here there's there's no question about it perhaps we need to take
06:01a
06:01different approach well if we want to know how far bedrock is there the only thing I can think of
06:07is
06:07basically a hammer drill if you want to keep on going down down down here you need like a pneumatic
06:13hammer drill yeah yeah a hammer drill would work often utilized in masonry a hammer drill is a power
06:22tool that simultaneously rotates and hammers and attached auger bit into a hard surface such as stone
06:29or concrete the percussive motion allows the drill to penetrate denser objects more efficiently than a
06:36standard drill and it wouldn't shake and vibrate the cradle no it doesn't shake doesn't do anything
06:41just checking it's more that I'm thinking of shaking the rocks loose that I don't wish to come loose
06:45yeah what do you think no it sounds good yeah you know if we're not finding the bedrock I think
06:53we
06:53need to keep on going just in case there's a shaft or a tunnel underneath here I mean while we're
06:58here we
06:58should get it done no we don't want to do it invasively or destructively but I think to your point
07:03I'd like to know where bedrock me too Rick I mean both of you have said that many many times
07:08you
07:09know is there something hiding under here let's do this for right now we don't have the right
07:13equipment right now let's go talk to Billy and see what he's got yeah and then we'll come back here
07:17and
07:17see if we can get to the bottom of this all right see you later
07:24meanwhile hey Katya hi Steve how's it going here really good this area has just been amazing for
07:30us we're digging through a lot of the old spoils from old searchers Steve Guptill joins Katya Drayton
07:37and Billy Gerhardt several yards south of the Money Pit area to search the so-called Dunfield spoils
07:45these are several mounds of earth that were excavated from the Money Pit by Robert Dunfield
07:50in 1965 during his unsuccessful effort to recover the treasure it could be quite exciting today let's
07:59find some treasure yeah let's find something yep Robert Dunfield's efforts to conduct his big dig
08:06certainly pushed a lot of spoils piles in the Money Pit down the hill and they were never really
08:14investigated for clues to the area we are now intent on exploring so the hope is that we will find
08:20artifacts that will help us unravel what happened in the Money Pit long ago
08:32oh you got a hit that sounds really good it sounds really good
08:38oh it's small too hand on Ferris right here yep all right where would you like it anywhere in front
08:46of me
08:53here we'll give it a little pinpoint in the hole see if we can find it oh I'm on it
09:01oh you got it oh my gosh
09:08it's very clean what is that I mean the things that really don't corrode are precious metals
09:16while searching spoils that were removed from the Money Pit by treasure hunters more than 60 years
09:22ago I think that we just found a silver coin oh wow Katya has just made a potentially critical discovery
09:31I've learned that when you don't have what do you call the beveled edges milled edges milled edges yes
09:37okay so that dates back to older much in the late 17th century Sir Isaac Newton who also served as
09:46the
09:46master of the Royal Mint of England was the first to design coins with milled edges this was done in
09:53order to combat counterfeiting no you know you can see something written on the edge there could that
10:00mean that this silver coin may date back to the 1600s or even earlier we've been looking for silver in
10:08the Money Pit a long time and based on what Dr. Spooner has shown us there is a bunch of
10:12silver up there
10:13somewhere it could be a whole bunch of that somewhere right I should run that back to the lab I
10:17agree good
10:18fine caught you thank you later that day deserve a vault below here or something this could tell us
10:29Rick Marty Craig and other members of the team arrived at the man-made depression on lot eight
10:35dubbed the stone cradle where as long as he's in that square area he can drill multiple holes oh yeah
10:43absolutely in our world it's transitioned from archaeology to geology when you bring it up we'll get
10:48the sample start your engines Laird is allowing the team to punch a three-foot hole in the bottom of
10:55the cradle with a hammer drill to collect new soil samples and look for evidence of man-made workings
11:02buried deeper below what if we just don't even encounter the bedrock at all that would tend to
11:12mean something and whatever might be interesting is deeper yet that went down quite far doesn't seem
11:18like it's bedrock well we're about to find out trade spots and I'll take that sample
11:29it's pretty gritty that's enough but look at the color in that it doesn't look like bedrock to me okay
11:39well let's drill a boulder that is slate and see hard yeah what the difference is and we see what
11:44the
11:44cuttings look like and the penetration rate and all that stuff in order to be sure that they have not
11:50drilled through the slate bedrock beneath the cradle feature the team will now drill into a nearby boulder
11:56that is also composed of slate this will allow them to see if the drill experiences the same kind of
12:09resistance
12:09it's a little bit harder
12:10it's kind of what I thought that's not bedrock no
12:17I bet you the bit's heating up a lot more than it does as well
12:19yeah I wouldn't touch that bit
12:22the conclusion has to be that it's not on bedrock
12:25is there a feature or or a void or a tunnel or a shaft underneath the cradle or close by
12:33okay here's what we can be certain of we're not done with this I agree not that we get an
12:38answer
12:40of all the frustrating archaeological weights we have had to endure this one is the most aggravating
12:47I thought by the end of this year we would have figured it out but we have it the archaeologists
12:52are
12:53incredibly protective of the site for good reasons but I'd really like to know what's at the bottom
12:58of it because I know there's a good chance of something really interesting I think it's good that
13:03it gives us a little bit of time to actually do some research on this as well and we certainly
13:07know
13:08it's purposeful and extremely significant well let's run with that in the meantime we will leave
13:12you to it for now thanks okay let's go okay thank you guys thank you after finishing their work on
13:20lot
13:21eight watch your back i'm gonna shake dylan just watch yourself while the dig proceeds in the mp1 shaft
13:30welcome back to the lab everybody emma's ready with some data members of the team meet to receive
13:36a scientific report on the believed silver coin found near the money pit area well right off the
13:43bat i'm just going to confirm that it is silver solid silver it's a silver alloy what did you get
13:50what
13:50percent 87 oh that's good enough for me yeah that's a silver coin it's a silver coin yeah what do
13:59you make
13:59of that it is very worn um it took a lot of effort to get a good image in the
14:04ct scan what you're seeing
14:06on the screen right now is all that remains on the coin so you have the back of the head
14:12which is very
14:13clearly remaining you have a very clear mvs and then some lettering over here wow which is great for
14:23identification so this is an overlay of the cg image on top of the coin that i found on the
14:30coin
14:30database oh yes you can certainly see that and i got an exact match with the six pence uh william
14:40the
14:40third wow really so it's english that's amazing yeah and that all aligns with this coin right there
14:50and you can see the ribbon perfectly yeah oh yeah now that you show that i can see it right
14:56in the
14:56coin yeah cool what date are you putting on this so the date range is 1697 to 1701 oh
15:10what date are you putting on this so the date range is 1697 to 1701 wow it's so significant
15:19that is a full 100 years before discovery of the money pit i think it's great yeah in the lab
15:26emma has
15:27confirmed that a silver coin found in the dunfield spoils is more than three centuries old common
15:34people weren't carrying silver this probably wasn't a worker no somebody of means right yeah a hundred
15:41years before the money pit was discovered is a heck of a long time a very long time that's a
15:47big deal
15:47mm-hmm these late 1600 dates lead you one of two places either that's the time of the depositor or
15:54searchers that were searching before the money pit was discovered bottom line this is a silver coin
15:59and i would call it a piece of treasure i think it's an incredibly important discovery
16:04but just like almost everything we've found all over the island continues to provide partial answers and then
16:10pose a lot more questions we found a silver treasure coin in money pit spoils on oak island it's treasure
16:19from the money pit spoils it's silver it's it's it's ours it's the end of the year and we're hoping
16:27to
16:27find more coins or a chest or a keg full of the portuguese treasure coins but it validates the
16:34reason why we're here i'm not willing to give up on solving the mystery i mean we say it all
16:39the
16:40time sempre avanti you you do not stop very cool a big well done to everybody involved all right let's
16:48go
16:48see you later thank you no problem
16:53as a new day begins on oak island guys hey guys the two gentlemen we want to see where are
17:00we how deep
17:02so we're about at 195 depth good stuff 195 got it rick and other members of the team monitor the
17:09progress of the mp1 shaft which has now reached the solution channel just hoping to find one thing
17:18we're working on it we'll keep you updated thank you thank you appreciate it yes sir
17:26go over there find something
17:30a lot of muck and mud yeah got something
17:47it's in here whatever it is it's like a heavy chunk of metal yeah don't know what it is until
17:53it's
17:53washed off so what's it this is a piece of twisted metal from the mp1 spoils at the moment
18:01but when it goes back to the lab maybe emma runs scans and tell us it's something completely
18:07different there's a lot of stuff caked on it for sure this could be some kind of bladed tool
18:15because i see a curve on it see if other guys can make head and the tails of it it's
18:21very heavy
18:22whatever it is it's been down there a long time this is really really hard it's been on there for
18:28a
18:28long time let's bag it terry i don't know what it is but it certainly has the appearance of being
18:34old
18:34thank you
18:48yeah that is strange
18:49green billy yep
18:55check this out i watch it and i see this oh yeah
18:59stain in it what do you think it is that sure looks like exotic wood why why'd you say it
19:06the
19:06colors on it really and the curb that shouldn't be here oh this is strange this linearity and that
19:15staining could be palm tree yeah we don't know where that's from i mean we're on an island and we
19:21know people have traveled from a long way away to this island by boat it'd be really cool if you're
19:27right gary come from 200 feet in the money pit that's incredible this is wood from the bottom
19:34of the solution channel and wood should not be at this depth unless it were pushed down from above
19:42get a bag peter put that in the bag we need to talk to experts if this is an exotic
19:47wood it would
19:48lend credence to an old world ship coming to the new world all right let's take a look at this
19:55let's get
19:56stuck in the years come to an end we're within a few hammer grabs of being done and i hope
20:04we find
20:04the one thing or solve the mystery or find the treasure i still have every fiber of my being
20:11believes that oak island is real the mystery is real i want to know what happened here
20:19a lot of rounded stuff
20:26no no solid it's we're probably getting very close to the bottom yeah
20:34hey guys hey how you doing we're on bedrock bottom of the hole okay
20:42what are the final numbers 210 okay
20:47we gave it we gave it a good shot man we did 100 we did
20:53we should all be quite proud of what we all did oh yeah
20:58i love the fact that the money pit even though it denies us answers at the end of the day
21:04we walk
21:05where the heads held on thank you guys thank you
21:12sometimes you get the ball across the goal line and sometimes you don't
21:16but we did learn some things and we made some discoveries which may be impactful as we delve into
21:21them you can't deny the science there is silver at depth down in the solution channel
21:29i'm not willing to give up till we find it
21:37you know this is the last case on yeah good news is that it was a technical success the concept
21:47of the
22:00we didn't find it well you know rick i agree it sounds like proof of concept is there
22:07we know what can happen but we missed and we were both hoping for the one thing being
22:12found here and that one thing being distinctly treasure right but if we think about the year
22:18in its totality i think there's a lot to be proud of i think there's a lot to be happy
22:24about yeah well
22:26rick you know thank you for the news i'll digest it actually i've been meaning to mention this to you
22:32uh dr spooner has an idea on how we could refine and maybe understand what's really going on in the
22:39money pit area and where that treasure still could be so we all need to assemble in the war room
22:44right
22:45we'll let him present his idea i think you'll like it okie doke all right see ya
22:53welcome to everybody we have reached the end of this year's exploration which makes this a last
22:58meeting hello terry and derek hello party i think a good place to start is with this heat map that
23:06steve
23:07made some time ago to update it for this year's efforts the idea is to say where are the spots
23:13we have
23:14found artifacts earlier this year surveyor steve guptill created a so-called heat map it illustrates
23:22where the team has made their most significant discoveries noting their approximate dates of
23:27origin by using different colors so far we have found about 800 artifacts on my layered his own team
23:34they find hundreds more than that we found about 1200 artifacts this year and then let me go over the
23:39hot areas most of the artifacts that you see are from the last two years if it's in the 1700s
23:44i've
23:45been clicking orange if it's earlier than that i click pink blue is 1800s to now yeah let me turn
23:52off
23:53every color except pink there's an overwhelming amount of evidence that shows that people were here
24:01earlier earlier than we originally believed it's almost indisputable that there was island-wide activity
24:08to a fairly large scale that's significant is it not it is significant yeah we just need to know
24:16who and why and when yeah and what they were doing yeah well we also know that the lot of
24:23boulder was
24:23moved and looking up there on the heat map that would have had to be work that was done earlier
24:29that's
24:30a huge anomaly that's a great segue to go to lot eight and to me this boulder came out of
24:35nowhere
24:35this year something rather significant had to happen here laird is there anything like it in nova
24:42scotia that you know i haven't found anything like it in north america i think it's much older i would
24:48not be surprised if it got us into the 1200 range the team was stunned to discover a 40 000
24:55pound boulder
24:56on lot eight this year that was covering the cradle of stones and a potential shaft deeper below it
25:02however prior to that they had found two curious artifacts on the lot one a lead bag seal that may
25:10date back some 700 years and the other was a copper artifact with symbols that may be connected to the
25:17knight's templar well and rick you've got some white that you can shed on the lot of boulder from that
25:22trip to the azores yes we wanted to find if there is some evidence that the templars or associated
25:29groups in the 1300s needed to safeguard a treasure via the azores prior to coming to oak island
25:38we went to a megalithic site and on the way up the hill i just noticed a huge stone but
25:44it had
25:44slots carved into it and to me it was so similar to the spacing and the lot eight boulder
25:54that rock has a big void to me purposely built underneath it which brings me to what scott did
26:01yesterday so yesterday we went out and got a large hammer drill three foot long corbett and when we
26:07drilled in there we didn't find bedrock okay well here's what's certain there's a lot more work to do
26:13on this boulder on lot eight including digging underneath it there still could be a tunnel there
26:20could be a shaft but there could be treasure there could be treasure gary we need to completely eliminate
26:25any question as to what might have been done underneath that boulder but let's shift over to
26:30lot five which has been hugely significant so we have this feature which became two features which became
26:37three features this year the team made a number of new discoveries in the rounded stone foundation
26:44near the shore on lot five that suggest it was occupied by different groups over different periods
26:50prior to the discovery of the money pit these include a folded coin meant to represent a religious
26:57symbol of protection that may be more than 300 years old they also found a decorative lead artifact
27:04that may date back more than 700 years and in just the last month they began investigating
27:11what was previously thought to be a modern well just a few yards away but after digging next to it
27:18they discovered evidence that it is a much larger feature and may be connected to the rounded foundation
27:26and my understanding there it wasn't just a domicile something different than that correct
27:32we've always looked for the camp if there was this tremendous activity at the money pit it would
27:38have taken men and animals and support structures and all kinds of stuff and maybe lot five is
27:43what we've been looking for we have evidence here that substantiates that that we have possibly
27:49found a road that might be a a way to move the treasure here on oak island the sand road
27:54and again it leads us on a path of discovery in the swamp the sand road potentially changes the whole
28:02island
28:04while excavating the western side of the swamp still sandy the team was surprised to uncover a
28:11sand-covered cobblestone road that was lined with eight-sided wooden survey stakes and as they kept exposing the
28:18mysterious feature they found signs that it may run through the center of the island toward lot five
28:26as well as through the swamp toward the believed portuguese stone road i find the sand road really
28:34interesting now we were always looking for a connection between the money pit and lot five
28:39and perhaps the sand road is the connection that it could lead literally to a place where treasures deposited
28:49good excellent
28:52the sand road can lead literally to a place where treasures deposited exactly i love this little
29:00lock shoe that was found along that path i only mean one thing and that's all in we thought that
29:07the
29:07portuguese stone road that we call it was a big job well you know look at the length of this
29:11thing
29:12they might be the same thing right this sand road is a continuation of center road that means that it's
29:18there much earlier than we first thought agreed and so we have these in front of us are what we
29:24believe to be a hand cannon and four stone shots these two are from previous years they're both from
29:32the azores but then this year we find two more actually derek found them on the wash plant and here's
29:38the
29:38ultimate point no country significant was using them after about 1450. so what are those doing on oak island it
29:46really i think is one of the most concrete dates we have when the team first uncovered a section of
29:53the sand road in the swamp this year look at that they also found part of an early firearm known
29:59as
30:00a hand cannon but that is unusual it was a curious find given that they have now also discovered four
30:07pieces of stone shot three of which were unearthed in the money pit area it's a very interesting piece
30:14and during the team's recent trip to the azores islands the hand cannon were common in the 1300s yes
30:21portuguese archaeologist tiago rodriguez affirmed that these artifacts may not only date back to the 14th
30:29century but could also be of portuguese origin is this enough to prove a pre-columbian voyage
30:37no but it's a good indication and a good sign of treasure because you'd need guns
30:41and ammo if you're putting a large treasure in the money pit yeah and so finally conceptually we arrive
30:51at the money pit did a lot of work there and what got us very excited is this right here
30:56this is the
30:58fabled pit blado coin so this coin turns out to be a 1369 to 1371 portuguese coin extremely rare
31:09and very valuable and of course that got us all really excited including me who was fixed on
31:15treasure more than story a chest of these would be worth just that would be worth an enormous fortune
31:21and it did apparently come out of the money pit so we got real excited about this and then we
31:27chased
31:27the theory of all right there was a treasure in the money pit and the treasure fell into the solution
31:34channel and scientific evidence to show that it's still down there exactly so it got us all enthused
31:40and we were able to get canisters down into the solution channel yeah we found lots of things that
31:46shouldn't have been in the solution channel my analysis of that is that it was proof of concept
31:51and proves the theory that stuff could fall down in there we weren't successful in finding the treasure
31:57but we all still think it's here because of your work ian and dr fred because of the metals in
32:02the water
32:02i i know you have a potentially new method that we could zero in and maybe find the treasure yep
32:09can
32:09you bring the group up to speed on that yeah a little while ago dr michael suggested we're having
32:16problems with water water moves around gets diluted so fred suggests why don't we look at wood because it
32:22has the ability to soak up metal just like a water filter would soak up metal from water and the
32:28wood's much
32:28better at soaking up metals in water and i think we just need to do more work with the wood
32:33the wood's
32:34at its early stages and we got the data back results from like 15 sort of random samples so if
32:41you've
32:41just done the tests now where did you get the wood to test we got it from the outside of
32:47logs and planks
32:49that were in various tunnels and shafts throughout the money pit and something did show up in shaft
32:552a which is i think the unknown shaft we're getting up the first ever searcher shaft on oak island in
33:062024 the oak island team began uncovering a feature that they believed to be an early 19th century
33:12searcher shaft known as shaft 2 which according to historical records was located 14 feet southeast
33:20of the original money pit i tend to think it's two different shaft however during the excavation they
33:27discovered another undocumented shaft some 10 feet to the northeast that they dubbed shaft 2a this made
33:36them wonder whether they found an old shaft built by treasure hunters or perhaps treasure depositors
33:43so in shaft 2a the wood sample from shaft 2a we had the highest amount of silver we've ever seen
33:50and also i think the third highest level of gold
33:59so in shaft 2a we had the highest amount of silver we've ever seen
34:04and also i think the third highest level of gold great there you go that's pretty exciting right
34:09it's another direct indication of treasure isn't it with that result if we have this kind of silver
34:15high silver we've seen something like 2a that could mean that there's silver very very close to where
34:21that wood is after testing numerous samples of wood that the team has unearthed in the money pit area over
34:28the years dr spooner has found new evidence of buried silver in the mysterious shaft known as 2a
34:36a structure located more than 30 feet northeast of where they detected precious metals in the solution
34:43channel dr spooner how do you reconcile the silver that we're finding in the wood from 2a
34:50and the silver that we're finding in the solution channel
34:54maybe what we're looking at here is um a variety of sources or multiple deposits yep
35:01this is getting interesting multiple treasures there's a possibility sure
35:05wow what i'm proposing is we take a much more detailed look at uh metals in the wood
35:12dr spooner's latest report perhaps proves the worthiness of the idea of testing the wood in
35:18several of the shafts it certainly introduces new possibilities that we're chasing after multiple
35:23treasures in oak island this is pretty much a no-brainer let's continue this yep so yes proceed
35:29please tell us where the treasure is we're ready do my best
35:35well i just think it's a very productive year we've had some major finds the boulder on lot eight
35:41the sand road in the swamp right it just seems like oak island has its secrets and we've uncovered
35:48some yeah so i want to thank you and i think we had a great year yep so i thought
35:54a long time about how
35:54i would like to close here today and i thought a good way to do that might be to use
35:59a symbol gary
36:01right here in me top pocket it's a pocket find and uh it's this this is one ounce of pure
36:12gold it
36:13appropriately has the canadian maple leaf on it and here's the pure gold i would like to find
36:18and we have found pure gold here from the people of canada from the people of nova scotia and certainly
36:25the people in this room and if we are moving caissons around next year instead of these poker chips
36:30we're going to move this maple leaf around to decide where to dig and hopefully find the treasure yeah
36:37it goes without saying how important you have all become to me we're a family because the experience
36:49here is only as wonderful as it is because of each and every one of you without you without each
36:56of you
36:57these past years of my life would have been far less rich the treasure and the story are
37:07like brothers they're together right but the real treasure really is each and every one of you
37:16this is the true treasure in life that we share now 100 we are very grateful to be a part
37:24of your
37:25passion and share it with you we would not be here if you did not share your dream not only
37:33with us but
37:33the world thank you thank you thank you yeah well said i agree absolutely yep the thank you that craig
37:42expressed the thank you that marty expressed the thank you that i'm expressing is heartfelt it is
37:47genuine and it is important emiliano why don't you close out today okay let's go thank you all thanks
38:03everybody after you the year on oak island has come to an end her legendary secrets remain unknown look at
38:12the enormity of the fines look at the early dates that's right we have written maybe not the answer
38:19to the oak island mystery what we have added chapters upon chapters of information goodbye all
38:25however rick marty craig and their team have proved one thing the quest for answers to this 231 year old
38:35mystery is well worth the pursuit my whole life been curious about things very very curious about things
38:41gets me in trouble sometimes close another good year yep always bittersweet isn't it how can we have
38:47found so many inexplicable things in one year so there's many reasons that would make me come back
38:52here to find this treasure we have to be close to the end game don't we so far they have
38:59found more than
39:002 000 artifacts at numerous man-made structures predating the discovery of the money pit some by as much as
39:10800
39:10years and they have obtained mounting scientific evidence that treasure really may lie buried all across
39:19the island so next year when they return they will build upon all they have learned and revealed to solve
39:31the mystery and like a year where we said you know what we did it that moment has not come
39:39but
39:40that is still my hope i won't relent i quite stubborn in that way
