00:10:13what's your take on that
00:10:16last week we lost against Fulham and which player played against Fulham and which player played against
00:10:25nothing and we lost two matches and we lost as well with another players okay we can lose loss and

00:10:32can win with every players pressure becomes important at this stage of the season you're
00:10:37now out of the relegation zone West Ham in it we have to feel the same pressure
00:10:43football is different can change in week by week we can't forget what we we felt
00:10:51before the Wolverhampton game and before the Palina goal in Wolverhampton we were
00:10:57a light and and so we have to push again and I can't permit anyone to think in different way

00:12:15to be brave and jump and that's exactly what Danso did and then Rich Allison gets an opportunity which
00:12:21he should have passed again Colomani Conor Gallagher Benton Kerr and Rich Allison blocking the middle of the
00:12:27pitch because you know Villa like to occupy that in the middle of the pitch and they didn't allow them
00:12:34to play in that middle and then get the ball wide and that's because there was aggressive on the press
00:12:40and they was brave in doing that and the defenders have to buy into it Rich Allison I mentioned again
00:12:46Colomani really good in occupying the defenders force it in one way and then everyone can jump on this
00:12:54time it's van der Ben on Barkley and it made it so difficult for Villa to play and they didn't

00:13:00what to do and then when they got the ball there was composed on the ball but this was was

00:13:35outstanding today I really did so they started with that intensity and their intent was obvious

00:13:45second ball and what they also did is is they took the risk out of their game in terms of
00:13:51not playing
00:13:51from the back in unnecessary circumstances and they did that and when I said they won every second ball
00:13:57that's what I mean they might not have won that first header but what they did really well is is
00:14:01engage and make
00:14:02sure they won the tackle after that and then look at that look at that commitment
00:14:07that is what you need when you're in desperate trouble you need every single player at it and Spurs were
00:14:14today
00:14:14that's what I mean about taking the Villa press out so they go long and then they commit men forward
00:14:20and that's what they did and now they outnumber Aston Villa in forward positions because of that long ball
00:14:25because Villa wanted to press them and at times they couldn't because they they missed the press out
00:14:29really unlucky but they get into that position because the same thing again he's got options
00:14:35Kinski can pass it left or right but the same thing again ball in behind they don't win the first
00:14:40one
00:14:41but look where the ball falls to because they're that brave and they're committing that many men forward
00:14:46into forward positions then getting the ball into the box when they do win it and they've also got three
00:14:51in the box as well
00:14:52they create another opportunity but for a good save from from Martinez second half same thing look
00:14:57miss the press out again they go along they don't win the first header but they win that second ball
00:15:03that was a constant right throughout the game and that gave them the platform to go and play and to
00:15:09create chances and again look how many men they've got in in forward positions they were brave they were
00:15:14aggressive and they were absolutely outstanding and deserve to win that game but the difference is sorry on that
00:15:21is when you go forward like that if there's any any ball that you wouldn't high up the pitch when
00:15:28when Spurs
00:15:29are winning the ball a little bit further back they couldn't really get out so if you look at the
00:15:33the clips that
00:15:34Alan showed there even if they lose it they can get the second if not the second and get the
00:15:37third and that's because
00:15:38the defensive midfield and the forwards were all being brave with their press
00:15:42and they were helped in their performance by the fact that Villa looked like they were lacking energy and they
00:15:47looked like a team that had made seven changes
00:15:50which is what Unai Emery did they also looked like a team who have a Europa League semi-final that
00:15:56they're
00:15:56one nil down in to come on Thursday and they look like a team who are fairly comfortably in fifth
00:16:01place
00:16:02and a Champions League qualification spot yeah well some people might criticize i think the Villa fans
00:16:08there was was there's a few boos at halftime in terms of the effort the players that he put out
00:16:13today were
00:16:14more than capable of performing better than they did today but if you look at the bigger picture in terms
00:16:18of the
00:16:19Champions League position and then the semi-final Europa League they're doing a great job you're
00:16:24going to get get those sort of performances sometimes and it was just one of those today
00:16:27they're in the semi-final they've got it all to do in the return leg they're in fifth as you
00:16:31said
00:16:31they've got six points gap uh if Unai Emery gets that team into the Champions League for next season
00:16:38they've got two chances of doing that in the league and by winning the Europa League he's entitled to
00:16:42change that team around and do whatever he wants to do he's not worried about whatever the opposition or
00:16:46whoever thinks that's sport and integrity or whatever it is it's his team he can do what
00:16:51he wants he's earned the right to do that what about the relegation battle what does this do to
00:16:55that because we thought it might be a straight shootout between Tottenham and West Ham the thing
00:17:00is now Tottenham are only two points behind Nottingham Forest they play Chelsea tomorrow at Chelsea so who
00:17:08knows what the gap could be come the end of the day and now maybe three teams in the running
00:17:14to get
00:17:14relegated at the end of the season it's been a terrible weekend for West Ham hasn't it with the
00:17:18uh the result for them yesterday and the result that went against them to do with uh with Spurs
00:17:23so they have got it all to do and looking at their fixtures as well i think that game against
00:17:28Leeds
00:17:28United possibly their best chance of getting three points okay you can't predict every time we make a
00:17:34prediction we get it wrong don't we but from those fixtures i think West Ham have got it all to
00:17:39do
00:17:39i think Spurs now have got that little bit of momentum even though the players they found a
00:17:44different way to be playing mainly Spurs fought with the technical players they could go a different
00:17:50way but with the intensity they showed today they can win the games that's their standard now they've
00:17:55set the line there they cannot fall below that line now in terms of energy and if they keep that
00:18:01level
00:18:01up could be safe they could keep that up yeah but i think deserve it needs a lot of credit
00:18:07for the way
00:18:08he set his team it's it's it's one of those situations where you're in a relegation battle
00:18:13and you've got players who hide none of those players hide hid out there tonight and i think
00:18:18the fact that he's giving them the confidence i think that is the difference is there an element of
00:18:23frustration around Spurs though that they haven't done this so far this season i know they've had some
00:18:27of those players missing at different points but that they are capable of this well it's actually
00:18:33it's actually trying to draw it out of them and and at the minute he's the win last week they
00:18:37win
00:18:37again uh today so it looks as if the players are responding to what he's doing in training and what
00:18:42he's giving them the feedback might yet be a good end to the season for tottenham now it's time for
