00:00Keeping Anthony in AAA, how hard was that decision for you?
00:04Well, like anything else, we're paid to make very difficult decisions.
00:08I think this year's New York Yankee team's a lot deeper.
00:12We have a lot more choices, and Caballero has emerged with his play.
00:19And so we kind of had to honor that.
00:21It kind of came, snuck up on us a little bit, but that's good.
00:25You know, last year Grisham was the guy that came up out of nowhere.
00:28A couple years ago, I waver-claimed Weaver, and then he became our closer in 2024.
00:34That certainly wasn't part of the script.
00:36So, again, you know, you let the games play out, and you honor the performance when warranted.
00:45So, you know, ultimately when the rehab was up, you know, it wasn't really,
00:50we collectively, all of us talking internally, it wasn't anything that Anthony Bulte was doing wrong.
00:55It was what Cabby was doing that led to that decision.
00:59So, you know, stay tuned.
01:00It's a long year, and, you know, we're excited that we have Anthony Bulte.
01:05We're excited that we have Cabby.
01:07We're excited about all the different talented players that we have,
01:09and hopefully they collectively find a way to get what our fans deserve.
01:13Do you plan to move him around the infield at AAA, or just to add short stuff?
01:17We'll see.
01:18Like everything else, you have conversations, you know, that you don't do anything, you know, immediately.
01:28So, for instance, like with Anthony, I talked to Anthony on Thursday of last week
01:32about to try to be transparent about what was going on in my head
01:35and what I was thinking, which eventually led to the option, reinstatement and option on Sunday.
01:42And so we will continue to have conversations about what's best for his profile, our profile,
01:48because right now he's playing shortstop every day.
01:51But, again, we'll see what, you know, it's always a fluid situation.
