00:03Britt's playing as Grizz the Barbarian, I'm playing as Pigeon the Thief.
00:06Both of our characters can auto-fire if you hold the button.
00:10And each level has some unique enemies and mechanics, as well as kind of handmade chunks.
00:16Just having a beautiful day at Mount Rainier.
00:19So the screen's going to be constantly scrolling to the right, kind of like a shmup.
00:22You have to be careful not to get pinched at the edge.
00:24Yeah, and then there's these battle locks that happen every so often.
00:27So when you hit a battle lock and you beat it before the countdown ends, you'll get a battle lock
00:32reward.
00:34And the total reward will give you a cannon, which is really nice because you basically get a skip all
00:39the way to the shop next.
00:42Here we are at the shop.
00:43You can buy perks.
00:45When you buy a perk, it gets equipped to a star level.
00:50And my special is charged, so I'll just trigger the Hot Feet perk that I just got.
00:54And now when I'm running around, I have Hot Feet.
00:58Pigeon's special is to go into stealth mode, where she can't take damage and she can throw a critical hit.
01:03And now it's reset my star meter back to zero.
01:08Oh boy.
01:09You're bumping me off there, buckaroo.
01:17No, Britt.
01:20No, myself.
01:22I'm surprised he wrecked us.
01:24It doesn't even matter if you die, because you get to collect those yummy, yummy meta currency crystals.

01:49Yeah, I think that's one of the coolest things about the different characters, is how different they are from each
01:54other.
01:55In between levels, there's a little rest spot where you get a maximum HP increase.

02:11Things get pretty chaotic.
02:14It's a perfect example of two people's play styles where I was very generous, and Colin was very greedy.
