00:09The accused was brought to the Kuching Magistrates Court on Wednesday to face the charge framed
00:15under the Road Transport Act for causing death.
00:18The court allowed the accused to be released on a bail of 20,000 ringgit with two sureties
00:23and ordered him to report to the nearest police station once a month.
00:26It was reported that during the incident on May 1, a car driven by the accused rammed
00:32into the 56-year-old victim at 5.43 a.m. along Jalan Stutong before fleeing the scene.
00:39The court fixed June 23 for pre-trial case management.
