00:00:19There's a re-unit for a missing person.
00:00:30A white male, something or other, had long hair and a beard.
00:00:34He wasn't alone.
00:00:37License number, Savings Association.
00:00:40Class D, David.
00:00:44I'm not here. What was going on there?
00:00:47No, I just made you.
00:00:55735 John, any other goods?
00:00:571050 to channel 1 at 2308.
00:01:03Okay, he's got no record found on his face at negative,
00:01:07and I'm not getting any of the DMs on him.
00:01:08No record found.
00:01:11On March 4th, 1996, a missing persons report was filed with the Jackson County Police Department by Miss Judy Dixon.
00:01:19Miss Dixon reported that her son, a Mr. Baron Dixon, had left a panic-stricken message on her answering machine,
00:01:27stating that Mr. Dixon would be leaving and never coming back.
00:01:31His vehicle and his belongings were found by the County Sheriff's Department.
00:01:42Mr. Dixon had arranged to meet with two friends at a designated campsite that the trio was familiar with.
00:01:50Mr. Dixon's vehicle was discovered about five miles south of that campsite.
00:01:56The two friends Mr. Dixon had arranged to meet were a Mr. Randy Kenneth Sloan and a Mr. Edward T.
00:02:05Tackett.
00:02:16Mr. Dixon, right here's where it happened.
00:02:18We had the fire going here and then it was that ridge right there that this shape or like a
00:02:24light bubble thing floated right on down this way.
00:02:32It's crazy.
00:02:37Mr. Sloan and Mr. Tackett had admitted to using hallucinogenics on the night in question.
00:02:43It was the biggest spaceship I'd ever seen.
00:02:49Mr. Sloan and Mr. Tackett had outstanding warrants for their arrest.
00:02:54I had an unpaid speeding ticket.
00:02:58And I just had some problems with neighbors about some noises coming from my garages.
00:03:04That's all.
00:03:08Mr. Sloan and Mr. Tackett were questioned and later booked into county jail for their outstanding warrants.
00:03:15Well, you know, it sounds insane.
00:03:18I'd call me insane, too, if I was me.
00:03:21But it was like a light or like a vessel.
00:03:25And it just floated real graceful, like, down there.
00:03:29No jerking at all.
00:03:30No.
00:03:31And it was no lights.
00:03:32And there weren't no lights.
00:03:34And, like, it was about this big.
00:03:41Investigating officers described the witnesses as excitable and incoherent.
00:03:48And when I put, it was about this big.
00:03:50When I put my hand up, it was about, yeah, that big.
00:03:54How, how close was it?
00:03:57If I'd have had a rock, I could have hit it.
00:03:59Yeah.
00:04:01And then it just, one second, it was gone.
00:04:07Mr. Dixon's vehicle was subsequently impounded, and his belongings were entrusted to his mother, Mrs. Judy Dixon.
00:04:15Barron is my only child.
00:04:17Barron was always fascinated with spaceships.
00:04:20He loves spaceships, ever since he was a little baby.
00:04:25I thought he'd be a football player when he grew up.
00:04:29But he never got interested in sports at all.
00:04:31Well, his only interest was outer space things.
00:04:42Um, gee, that was, what was a year?
00:04:46I think about a year.
00:04:48I think you worked here for about a year.
00:04:50I don't know.
00:04:50I don't know if you left a year, actually.
00:04:52I hated that guy.
00:04:53Yeah, we all hated him.
00:04:54I hated that guy.
00:04:55All he did was talk about fucking spaceships.
00:04:58All he did was talk about spaceships all the fucking time.
00:05:01All the time.
00:05:01I got a little sinky here.
00:05:02Remember that one thing we used to say?
00:05:04Yeah, he used to say that he used to go,
00:05:06Dixon's gonna take me away!
00:05:08You know, I'm fucking crying.
00:05:09Oh, man.
00:05:10He was crazy.
00:05:11He was crazy.
00:05:12I fucking hated him too.
00:05:13Oh, yeah.
00:05:14God, he was an idiot.
00:05:15He just didn't fit in.
00:05:19His only friends were Ed and Randy,
00:05:22and I don't think they were a very good influence on him.
00:05:27Did you take hallucinogenics on the night that Barron disappeared?
00:05:34I took four hits of acid.
00:05:37Well, I had 12 originally.
00:05:39But I took one of Ed's,
00:05:42so maybe I had five hits.
00:05:44And I had some of Barron's too,
00:05:46so that was probably...
00:05:48So Ed probably had seven or eight of them.
00:05:52I tried to keep Barron away from him.
00:05:56We were pretty fucked up
00:05:58because we took all of Barron's acid
00:06:02when he didn't show up.
00:06:04Yeah, we'd been waiting around the fire pit for him.
00:06:08He didn't show up.
00:06:09No.
00:06:10But he had called me at 5 p.m.,
00:06:13and he had told me that that was the night.
00:06:17And he'd been...
00:06:18He knew they were coming.
00:06:19Yeah, he knew it.
00:06:20Because he'd been talking about aliens all his life.
00:06:23He said they were coming.
00:06:24But he never said that...
00:06:25But they were coming that night,
00:06:28and he was serious.
00:06:30There was...
00:06:31He never said that before.
00:06:32In all the 20 years I knew him,
00:06:34he never had any false alarms or anything.
00:06:38No.
00:06:39That was the night.
00:06:40He knew it.
00:06:44The two witnesses claim
00:06:46that while on their hallucinogenic experience,
00:06:49they did not see a space ship.
00:06:51But what they did see,
00:06:53and I quote,
00:06:54is a space traveling vessel.
00:06:57What?
00:06:59Do you...
00:07:00The police feel that
00:07:02because you took hallucinogens
00:07:04that maybe you hallucinated the spacecraft.
00:07:07That you didn't see a spacecraft.
00:07:09I might have...
00:07:09I might have been fucked up,
00:07:11but I know when I see a spaceship...
00:07:13I told them it wasn't a space ship.
00:07:16It was a space vessel.
00:07:21I suspected that they were trying to get Baron
00:07:24to do something with drugs the same as they were.
00:07:32See,
00:07:33what I was saying before was about
00:07:36how the scope you can shoot for a mile away,
00:07:39but with this...
00:07:40When you're shooting them close,
00:07:41like this we are,
00:07:43you shoot underneath the scope with the...
00:07:46That's a good setup.
00:07:48But if he was a mile away,
00:07:49I'd just look in the scope,
00:07:52and then I could hit him.
00:07:53Well, okay.
00:07:54I'm gonna shoot the dog in the face.
00:07:59Make that a hundred, Dalmatians.
00:08:06When you're shooting at him,
00:08:07you should shoot for him like it's real.
00:08:09Like you should shoot him in the heart,
00:08:11or in the face,
00:08:13or in the belly,
00:08:16or in the groin.
00:08:18You could shoot him in the neck.
00:08:21Neck shot's pretty good, yeah.
00:08:23A neck shot will always take him out.
00:08:24So I'm gonna probably shoot this one
00:08:28in the neck.
00:08:30Or I'll try to pop one of his eyes off.
00:08:38There goes that pile of cow shit.
00:08:44I'm gonna shoot them dials at her fucking.
00:09:08I'm gonna shoot them dials at her fucking.
00:09:18Ever since he was little,
00:09:20he was fascinated by spaceships,
00:09:22and he talked about aliens and spaceships.
00:09:25Only he called them skyboats.
00:09:28Skyboats?
00:09:29Yes, skyboats.
00:09:31And there were sky mommies and sky daddies.
00:09:37We've got a home movie of him
00:09:39running around,
00:09:40holding a football over his head,
00:09:42and saying,
00:09:43Skyboats!
00:09:45Skyboats!
00:09:46Skyboats!
00:09:47Skyboats!
00:09:47Skyboats!
00:09:49Skyboats!
00:09:50Skyboats!
00:09:52Skyboats!
00:10:00Skyboats!
00:10:04Skyboats!
00:10:05Skyboats!
00:10:05Skyboats!
00:10:06Skyboats!
00:10:07Skyboats!
00:10:28So, tell me how you knew Judy and Barron.
00:10:31Oh, I lived next door to Judy and Barron, let's see, until Barron was 12 or 13, make
00:10:37it about 20 years.
00:10:39Did he talk to you about aliens much, or spoke to you?
00:10:44That's all he ever talked about, over and over again, over again, it was just too much.
00:10:52So, do you believe he was taken away by aliens, or...?
00:10:56Yeah, I would say he was.
00:10:59He had just started school, maybe the first grade, when he told me that people from another
00:11:06planet were going to come and take him to another planet.
00:11:10I told him they weren't going to do that, but he said, oh yes they are, and he was determined
00:11:17on it ever since then.
00:11:19You couldn't tell him any different.
00:11:23Hello, my name is Ruth Cipherline, and I was Barron's third grade teacher.
00:11:29Barron was a very memorable child, to say the least.
00:11:33He was very creative, always making things, or wanting to make things, or building, or painting,
00:11:39or anything like that.
00:11:41He loved model airplanes, and he was very active.
00:11:47He did talk about aliens and spaceships quite a bit.
00:11:50This is some of the artwork Barron did as a boy.
00:11:54His teachers gave him busy work, so that, to keep his mind occupied, he was just too much
00:12:03for a lot of his teachers.
00:12:22Oh yes, he also had a habit of keeping his hands in the front of his pants, like down
00:12:28his pants.
00:12:29A lot.
00:12:30I'd pull him aside and I'd say, Barron, you've got to keep your hands out of your pants.
00:12:36Well, he'd take them out and he would never give me any trouble, but two minutes later
00:12:40he'd have his hands right back down his pants.
00:12:43I couldn't get him to stop.
00:12:45And it was just one more thing, you know, for the kids to pick on him for.
00:12:54He didn't finish high school.
00:12:56The kids were picking on him too much, and he got tired of it.
00:13:01Barron wet his pants a couple of times during class, and that was hard for the kids to accept.
00:13:06It seemed to compound his problems a lot.
00:13:10One time in high school, Barron read a paper about how he wished that aliens would come from
00:13:16right in the middle of class so he wouldn't have to go to school or work or do anything
00:13:21he didn't want to do.
00:13:24But the teachers thought he was just nuts.
00:13:29I'm Dr. Matthews.
00:13:30At one time I was a psychiatrist for the Jackson County Public School System.
00:13:35Barron Dixon was referred to me by Mrs. Bailey, an English teacher at the time.
00:13:42Barron had written a paper in which he wished that aliens would come and remove him from
00:13:48the classroom so that he could prove to his peers that the stories he had told them in
00:13:53the past were true.
00:13:58I began meeting with Barron twice a week, and we talked a great deal about aliens and his
00:14:06wish to disappear.
00:14:09Barron had convinced himself that one day, a date he was not certain of, he would be picked
00:14:16up by traveling spacecraft and taken to another planet.
00:14:21On this planet, he would be what he referred to as the captain of the workers, or the laborers
00:14:28of that planet.
00:14:29A rather common fantasy, actually.
00:14:33Did he ever talk to you about taking other people to another planet as well?
00:14:39I'm not at liberty to talk to you about anything that his mother did not already make public.
00:14:50The school psychiatrist told me that Barron needed a lot of attention.
00:14:57He didn't trust the real world because of all the lies his father had told him.
00:15:03His father was a traveling salesman.
00:15:07See, Barron had caught his father in a motel room with another woman.
00:15:13And it wasn't his mom.
00:15:15It wasn't his mom.
00:15:17And it was shortly after that, he went down to find out who his real parents were.
00:15:24So he went down to the adoption agency and tried to look up the records and everything,
00:15:31and they couldn't find any records on him.
00:15:33And according to their offices, Barron never, ever, even really existed.
00:15:40So no one knows where Barron came from.
00:15:43Nobody.
00:15:47It is true that Barron was adopted, and it's true that the agency didn't have any record of
00:15:56his existence.
00:15:57Barron's.
00:15:57We tried to have a baby, but Barron's dad's sperm was crooked.
00:16:06Its tail was bent, and it would just swim in circles and never go to the egg.
00:16:27Well, he'd gone down to that motel because his dad was traveling, you know, sales.
00:16:33Barron didn't get to see his father very much.
00:16:36Well, and the thing was that his dad, it was a surprise visit, and his dad didn't know that
00:16:41he was coming down there.
00:16:43Barron had just gotten his driver's license, and he decided to drive up to the city to surprise
00:16:50his dad.
00:16:51And Barron just walks in the room, and there was his dad, and there was this naked woman
00:16:56bouncing around in the hotel bed.
00:16:58And it wasn't his mom, and it really wasn't his mom.
00:17:03He told Barron that the woman in the room had locked herself out of her room, and he
00:17:09was just letting her use his.
00:17:12All right, I got the sound rolling.
00:17:14You got it?
00:17:14You got everything else rolling?
00:17:15Start rolling?
00:17:16Let's go.
00:17:17Yeah, yeah, you got to roll on this.
00:17:18I'm outside with everybody.
00:17:20Okay, good.
00:17:26Let's go.
00:17:27Come on.
00:17:33I'm off six, right?
00:17:35Yeah.
00:17:36Okay.
00:17:36Found a plate, yeah?
00:17:37Yeah, we found it.
00:17:38I'm Brian Flackard.
00:17:40How are you doing?
00:17:40I'm the production manager.
00:17:41This is Susie Fox.
00:17:43Hi, nice to meet you.
00:17:44She's the production assistant.
00:17:45Ryan Ferguson on sound.
00:17:47He's our sound man.
00:17:47Behind the camera is Jeff Cochran.
00:17:49Hey.
00:17:50How are you doing?
00:17:50Good to meet you.
00:17:51Here, let me get this water off.
00:17:53Okay.
00:17:54I'm just hosing the dog down.
00:17:55Oh, that's good.
00:17:57Nobody want to shut the water off?
00:18:03You found the place, huh?
00:18:05We found it, and it's nice to meet you.
00:18:08Very nice to meet you.
00:18:09Well, where do you want to do this?
00:18:11You can do it inside.
00:18:13Out here, probably inside.
00:18:15How about in the kitchen?
00:18:16Keep it cool.
00:18:17Yeah.
00:18:17Okay.
00:18:17Come on in.
00:18:18Come on in.
00:18:21All right, you kids behave.
00:18:23Dad's getting an interview today.
00:18:25I am wrong.
00:18:30Go ahead and tell me your name.
00:18:32Yeah, my name is Daniel Edgar Dixon.
00:18:35But nobody calls me that.
00:18:37They call me Muff.
00:18:38Muff?
00:18:39Yeah.
00:18:40Muff.
00:18:40M-U-F-F.
00:18:42I'm Barron's dad.
00:18:45Barron was very upset when he found out that his father had been unfaithful to me.
00:18:51He had very little to do with his father after that.
00:18:55Well, I'm sure you've been told about Barron's imagination.
00:18:58The boy gets a thought in his mind.
00:19:00There's no change in it.
00:19:01Hi, Charles.
00:19:02I was up in Kingman, Arizona in a hotel room on a road trip.
00:19:08Barron surprised me one day by knocking on the door.
00:19:12I let him in.
00:19:13And just as he came in, a lady come walking out of the shower.
00:19:19She lived a couple of rooms down and the shower wasn't working.
00:19:22So, me being a nice guy, I said, come on and take a shower here.
00:19:27Well, Barron took one look at her and one look at me.
00:19:31And I don't know what he was thinking.
00:19:36Barron couldn't believe his father lied to him like that.
00:19:41And he asked me, what else has his father been lying to him about?
00:19:47Yeah, I remember I used to tell Barron stories about how Japanese cars are made,
00:19:52what the moon is made of, and who lives on a big house on the hill.
00:19:57And that boy was never short of questions.
00:20:01He wanted to know about everything and everybody.
00:20:06He was a smart kid.
00:20:08I never had to explain things to him more than once.
00:20:11And many things he seemed to already know.
00:20:14Yeah, I loved Barron a lot.
00:20:17He was my boy.
00:20:19Yeah, we did quite a bit together.
00:20:22I wish we could have done more, but I think he was a mama's boy.
00:20:27Yeah, bitch!
00:20:30Fuckin' stank ass, no?
00:20:32He was a big fuckin' liar.
00:20:34He talked everything.
00:20:35He's making shit up.
00:20:36Always lying.
00:20:37Always doing shit out of his ass.
00:20:39Fuck, it didn't even matter.
00:20:40He brought him these paintings.
00:20:41I remember that time he had the paintings.
00:20:44He told me, what, those paintings, they all, because he said,
00:20:46I'm gonna quit.
00:20:48He was fuckin' ridiculous.
00:20:49He was comin' to work, I'm gonna quit and make my paintings.
00:20:51What?
00:20:51Who's trying to say is Barron came in.
00:20:53He said, when he was superior, he's gonna quit and paint these paintings of spaceships
00:20:57because he has this art dealer gallery guy that's gonna sell these paintings of spaceships.
00:21:00He brought these pictures in.
00:21:01Of these fuckin' pictures that he did.
00:21:03They were fuckin' stupor.
00:21:04He got like a fuckin' retard.
00:21:06Retard did him.
00:21:06Hello, I'm Richard Stoneman.
00:21:10I'm Barron Dickson's art dealer.
00:21:13Barron came into my gallery in 1992.
00:21:17He had six paintings.
00:21:20They were very simple, very childlike paintings of spaceships.
00:21:25They were done in very bright colors, very playful.
00:21:28These three were on loan from clients.
00:21:31As you can see, they're very fun, playful paintings.
00:21:36Childlike.
00:21:37Very childlike.
00:21:38One might even say disturbingly childlike.
00:22:04Hi, I'm Erastasenevi.
00:22:07This is my home.
00:22:08As you see, I'm a collector of modern art.
00:22:21This piece is TIA, that's Trans Interdimensional Air Wave Service.
00:22:29They started out as Trans International Airlines, but through the technology managed to come out with this wonderful spaceship type
00:22:39lamp.
00:22:40It actually goes, it's interdimensional.
00:22:42It travels.
00:22:43You see, you charge it up like that.
00:22:45And when you get enough of a charge, it takes off.
00:22:49This is my spaceship to honor that piece.
00:22:53It's called We Come in Peace.
00:22:55And of course, when the aliens do come, you just know they're not gonna come in peace.
00:22:59They're gonna come loaded with guns and weapons, and they're gonna annihilate us all.
00:23:03But such is life.
00:23:06I liked the paintings, and I felt good about them.
00:23:10I told him I would show his paintings in my gallery.
00:23:19The gallery, Richard Stoneman, of the Richard Stoneman Gallery, he was selling me a line of crap when he sold
00:23:27me the piece.
00:23:27I saw it, I fell in love with it.
00:23:30It's so modern.
00:23:33It's like a throwback to the modern art of the 60s, with all its super serious hoity-toity-ness, you
00:23:41know?
00:23:43I had to have it.
00:23:44It was hilarious.
00:23:45My friends all love it.
00:23:47You know, I have parties, and people come, and they gather around the painting, and they ignore me.
00:23:52They ignore everything else in the room, and believe me, I have some lovely things here.
00:23:57People are just drawn to this painting.
00:23:59It's magical.
00:24:00I feel blessed to have had the wisdom to acquire it.
00:24:05That's what primarily it does for me.
00:24:07It moves me.
00:24:08It makes me giggle.
00:24:09I sit.
00:24:10I admire it.
00:24:11The little puppy flying up to his mommy, or daddy, or whatever the creature is up there.
00:24:16It's hard to tell.
00:24:18I guess it's a sexless being.
00:24:25I did not see Baron for about a year after he brought in the spaceship paintings.
00:24:34When he did come back, he brought in these rather large paintings that were so disturbing and violent that I
00:24:44was tempted to call the police.
00:24:46They were the most gruesome paintings I had ever seen.
00:25:02This is my bedroom.
00:25:07This is where I live.
00:25:10This is where I live.
00:25:10He moved back.
00:25:22This is his painting painting, and I know you didn't enjoy it.
00:25:30Have one to see the painting.
00:25:30I see the painting.
00:25:31It's my fabric.
00:25:32I saw my dress a painting.
00:25:35I was looking at my hair.
00:25:39It's a painting.
00:25:40You're here to see the painting, which is the painting that I'm going to be thinking.
00:25:40How big the world is and how big the galaxy is and how there's so many different kinds of people
00:25:47and different kinds of plants and I like to think what people on other planets might be like because, see,
00:25:56we only know a little bit about the planets that surround us, but there's millions of planets and there's millions
00:26:04of stars.
00:26:10And I just like to look at it and think about what people on other planets might be like.
00:26:22I like things because they speak to me. They tug on my heart or something and I just have to
00:26:29have them.
00:26:29That's how I acquired that lovely painting over there. I just had to have it. It was hilarious.
00:26:36This little fella in a bubble and this dog flying up to him. I mean, that's great.
00:26:41You would expect a dog to have a bubble on his head and he's not and that means he's truly
00:26:45an alien dog.
00:26:46I kind of have an alien dog myself, so I know about that.
00:26:52Barron requires a great deal of attention and one way people get attention is by running away or staging their
00:27:00disappearance.
00:27:02Barron was able to disappear and validate his entire life and get the attention that he needs.
00:27:11He got his name in the paper, his picture in the news, a documentary.
00:27:16This is the journey. This one over here is the adventure.
00:27:22And this last one is the day the aliens came and took me to another planet.
00:27:48Barron was pretty upset when he couldn't make a living as an artist.
00:27:55He didn't like work. It was too much like school. People kept picking on him.
00:28:01Cherry boy with a red face, big guy with a red face and a big bro.
00:28:05He's a little lazy. He couldn't even do a fucking thing around here.
00:28:08He's a little space bitch, man. He's totally fucking...
00:28:10He used to call him E.T. He used to call him E.T., remember?
00:28:13Yeah.
00:28:13Hey, E.T. E.T. phone home, motherfucker.
00:28:16I go, where's your fucking spaceship? Hey, bitch boy, where's your spaceship?
00:28:20This is Barron's dog. Her name is Bobo.
00:28:25Barron got her when he was, oh, 28, 29, maybe 30.
00:28:32She was a little tiny thing. No bigger than a shoe.
00:28:39He was fucking dinky. He was the king of the homeless, red face, big bro, stinky fish looking spaceship.
00:28:47She had to work with him all the time.
00:28:50Barron used to get down and hug her.
00:28:52And he'd say, you're the only friend I've got, aren't you, Bobo?
00:28:57And she'd lick his face.
00:29:03Remember that fish that we rocked? That big fish was this big.
00:29:06It was a big ass, a big sea bass.
00:29:09It was pretty big.
00:29:10Well, it was like that.
00:29:12I used to take that fish and I'd just take that fish and slap him right in the top of
00:29:16the head, man.
00:29:16He didn't care. He didn't care.
00:29:18He had juices in his hair and everything. He didn't care.
00:29:22Bobo gets up with me in the morning and then I give her breakfast and then let her out.
00:29:29And she goes out to the end of the driveway and lays there all day looking up at the sky.
00:29:35It's as though she's waiting for Barron to come back home.
00:29:41She's waiting for me.
00:29:42I'm waiting for you.
00:29:51Let's go.
00:29:54You're waiting for me.
00:29:57It's the first time.
00:29:58I'm waiting for you.
00:30:01I'm waiting for you.
00:30:16What I don't get is that dog it is, every day it sits at the end of the driveway, stares
00:30:22up at the sky, all day long, every day, and it does it every day.
00:30:28Weird, that is creepy.
00:30:47Tell me your name and your relationship to Barron.
00:30:51My name is Kathy Bell, you know, people tease me a lot about my name.
00:30:59Okay, what relationship?
00:31:00Oh yeah, my name is Kathy Bell and I'm Barron Dixon's ex-girlfriend.
00:31:05Okay, how did the two of you meet?
00:31:07We met at a Dead show when I was 21.
00:31:10No, I was 22.
00:31:11At a Grateful Dead concert we met when I was 22.
00:31:13And how old was Barron?
00:31:15He was 38.
00:31:16Oh, wow.
00:31:17Yeah.
00:31:17Well, my parents don't like that a lot either, but you know, he was a lot of fun and he'd
00:31:23tell me these weird stories, but it was a blast.
00:31:26He'd tell me stories about other planets and people on the other planets and I don't
00:31:33know, I would just totally get sucked up into his stories about secret societies and how
00:31:38there is a secret society that's going to be shipping people from this planet to another
00:31:44planet, a new planet that they have.
00:31:46And it's a better planet.
00:31:47It's cleaner.
00:31:48There's no pollution.
00:31:51It's a better planet.
00:31:53And Barron said that he was going to be in charge of a group of workers at the new planet
00:31:59and that they were going to be building this thing that's going to be connected to the
00:32:03Washington Monument and some church in Rome or something.
00:32:06I don't know.
00:32:06I mean, I would believe it, but I don't know if I really believed it or if it was just
00:32:12fun believing it, but it was, I don't know.
00:32:15He was a blast.
00:32:17It was like a game.
00:32:18It was fun.
00:32:20Oh, and then we had this great spaceship that he made in his backyard and he made it
00:32:24out of cardboard and one by twos and we'd mess around in that all night long and camp,
00:32:31look at the stars and it was just like a clubhouse.
00:32:34And we'd sit around eating Twinkies and drinking wine coolers all night.
00:32:38It was great.
00:32:39It was just like a clubhouse.
00:32:48This is the spaceship Kathy and Barron built.
00:32:52It's, he used to do a lot of them as a kid.
00:32:54And we'd have refrigerator boxes.
00:32:58Let, I'll let open the, uh, that's for you.
00:33:05You can feel free to look inside.
00:33:07Let me get the lights.
00:33:08Let's.
00:33:09Let's.
00:33:37Let's.
00:33:38Let's do that.
00:33:42Let's do that.
00:33:46Well, it was like peaceful.
00:33:51And it was like I can see through it.
00:33:55It.
00:33:55It was a light.
00:33:56But I don't think I could.
00:33:57It was like a light in it or around it.
00:34:00It was like a beautiful angel.
00:34:02is heavenly
00:34:05and you know
00:34:06I was like whoa
00:34:09we were freaking
00:34:10out for like two hours I mean a
00:34:12fucking spaceship
00:34:14where's Barron we kept yelling where's
00:34:16Barron it was his own
00:34:18like two hours we were
00:34:19should have been Barron's day he'd been talking about it forever
00:34:22and it was Barron's late
00:34:24for his own abduction
00:34:25it was kind of we didn't know
00:34:28you know what it happened to him
00:34:30where he was or anything
00:34:31you know we were just so freaked out
00:34:34then we found out and we
00:34:36we never got to say
00:34:38goodbye we found out he's
00:34:40gone
00:34:41he never even got to say goodbye to
00:34:44us or no one did
00:34:45his mom Kathy
00:34:48he told Kathy a bunch of stuff
00:34:51he never said
00:34:52goodbye to his mom
00:34:53just a message on his mom's
00:34:56answering machine he loved his mom
00:34:58he was
00:34:59really took good care of his mom

00:37:01And I will call you right back.
00:37:07Mom!
00:37:08Mom!
00:37:09Pick up the phone!
00:37:10Oh, please be there, Mom!
00:37:12Oh, jeez!
00:37:14Tonight's the night, Mom!
00:37:15Tonight's the night!
00:37:16They talked to me!
00:37:17Tonight's the night!
00:37:19Jeez!
00:37:21I don't know, Mom!
00:37:24I'm kind of scared.
00:37:26They said I'm never coming back!
00:37:28I'm not going to get to see you!
00:37:31Oh, jeez, Mom!
00:37:32I wish I could be there!
00:37:35I wish I could give you a big goodbye!
00:37:39Oh, jeez!
00:37:40This is not how I thought I was going to be!
00:37:43Oh, Mom!
00:37:46I love you, Mom!
00:37:49I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you growing up!
00:37:53I love you, Mom!
00:37:58Goodbye!
00:38:01I'm sorry!
00:38:04I'm sorry!
00:38:06I loved you so much!
00:38:09I don't know what to do!
00:38:12I don't know what to do!
00:38:18I'm so lonely!
00:38:39He called me a lot after we broke up.
00:38:43He didn't want to break up, but it was too hard to go out with him.
00:38:48He did not know when to stop.
00:38:51He didn't know how to act in public.
00:38:54He would talk about UFOs and aliens to my parents.
00:38:58They didn't even like him to begin with, so you can imagine.
00:39:02And my sister hated him.
00:39:05She did not like him at all.
00:39:07Baron was so creepy.
00:39:09I mean, he was a full-grown guy, and he lived with his mother.
00:39:13I don't know what my sister saw in him.
00:39:16He was big and hairy and ugly.
00:39:18And he believed in aliens.
00:39:21He was just stupid.
00:39:24Baron was a lot of fun.
00:39:25I mean, he liked nature, and we'd go camping.
00:39:28And we had these great things called pods, and we'd camp out on them at—
00:39:47Pods?
00:39:47Pods?
00:39:47Pods?
00:39:48And we knew everything about the stars and the constellations.
00:39:50It was amazing.
00:39:51He knew everything.
00:39:54And again, we dream.
00:39:57We dream about our other planets, and what our dream planet would be like.
00:40:01Like, we wish that there was a place where everybody was nice and everyone was in love
00:40:07and everyone had a mom and a dad.
00:40:12And, I don't know, we just dream.
00:40:25Well, I am Heather Westfall, and Kathy used to be one of my best friends.
00:40:33Well, she began dressing really bad.
00:40:36She started dressing like a hippie.
00:40:39Then she's going to Grateful Dead concerts,
00:40:42and the next thing you know, she is totally in love with Barron.
00:40:48Tell me about the first time you met Barron.
00:40:52I think the first time I met Barron was at my New Year's Eve party.
00:40:56Kathy had invited him.
00:40:58He comes strolling in, and he's wearing this really tacky sweater that was far too tight for him,
00:41:05and he has on these tight, pleated dress slacks,
00:41:10and he absolutely creeped everyone out because he's standing in the corner,
00:41:14and he's not blinking his eyes.
00:41:18He's just staring at everyone like this.
00:41:23I don't know.
00:41:24It was absolutely creepy.
00:41:26And he'd always been telling me about this guy shooting off rockets and such,
00:41:31and I went out to Superstition Mountains.
00:41:34I remember this.
00:41:35And the very first time I saw Barron, he was dressed like some kind of futuristic astronaut.
00:41:42And he had some voice changer on his...
00:41:44Yeah.
00:41:45I am a robot.
00:41:46I am a robot.
00:41:48I make Japanese cars.
00:41:51Like that.
00:41:52It was funny.
00:41:53And he gave me this camera, and he goes, you know,
00:41:58take a picture of this, and take a picture of that, and whatever.
00:42:01And he went and made a whole movie out of it.
00:42:05And he called it the launch.
00:42:07The super launch.
00:42:08The super launch.
00:42:09The super launch.
00:42:11The super launch.
00:42:12The super launch.
00:42:12The super launch.
00:42:22The super launch.
00:42:24The super launch.
00:42:54The super launch.
00:42:55The super launch.
00:42:58The super launch.
00:43:02The super launch.
00:43:05The super launch.
00:43:09The super launch.
00:43:11The super launch.
00:43:11The super launch.
00:43:14The super launch.
00:43:15The super launch.
00:43:15The super launch.
00:44:19I know he really liked my sister.
00:44:21I mean, you could tell he was totally in love with her, but I don't know.
00:44:25He was just weird.
00:44:27Well, none of my friends liked him, so it was mostly just Baron and I.
00:44:34But sometimes we'd hang out with Randy.
00:44:38We won't use everything.
00:44:40We just keep it running.
00:44:43Yeah, but it's illegal.
00:44:48It's a smoke.
00:44:49Whoa!
00:44:49It's a smoke.
00:44:53There we are.
00:44:59Hey, where are we going, guys?
00:45:01I thought we were going to do some donuts.
00:45:08PURG!
00:45:11PURG!
00:45:12PURG!
00:45:15PURG!
00:45:18PURG!
00:45:31PURG!
00:45:33PURG!
00:45:34PURG!
00:45:35PURG!
00:45:39PURG!
00:45:41PURG!
00:45:41PURG!
00:45:41Come down out of the mountains, way across the flames.
00:45:44Go toward the rising city, phoenix in the flames.
00:45:49PURG!
00:45:50PURG!
00:45:51Yay!
00:45:55That is cold out, swirling around,
00:45:58back clean in the bottom of the bucket.
00:46:01Ah, fucking butt change!
00:46:03It's just something we do for fun.
00:46:06Wind that bitch up!
00:46:09Go! Go, baby! Go!
00:46:11Hurry up, baby!
00:46:13That's it, boy! That's it, boy!
00:46:22Well, the night that he disappeared, he called me.
00:46:25He did call me.
00:46:27He told me that he was going to go to the new planet
00:46:31that he was talking about.
00:46:33And he said that he wasn't coming back.
00:46:44I could hear that he was scared.
00:46:47He was really scared.
00:46:49I'm afraid that he's in hiding somewhere,
00:46:52stalking my sister.
00:46:53And one night, he's going to come out of hiding
00:46:55and do something awful to her.
00:46:58I mean, he used to call me all the time.
00:47:01He doesn't call me anymore at all.
00:47:03Not even, I don't know, where is he?
00:47:07I mean, I'm not saying he used to stalk me or anything,
00:47:09but I would see him everywhere I went,
00:47:13every single day.
00:47:16I'd talk to him on the phone every day.
00:47:19And now, he's nowhere.
00:47:21I was right here.
00:47:22I came out, saw a Baron across the street
00:47:25at the donut shop with a bag of donuts in his hand.
00:47:28And I yelled out,
00:47:29Hey, Baron!
00:47:31I thought you was in outer space, you old son of a bitch!
00:47:38You can't be in outer space and be over there eating donuts at the same time.
00:47:43I don't care who you are.
00:47:47Emmett James?
00:47:49He wouldn't know his head from a hole in the ground.
00:47:53My name is Emmett James.
00:47:56I know Baron ever since he was a little grasshopper.
00:48:00I knew Baron when he was wearing diapers, like a little baby.
00:48:06Ah, Baron had a hard time making friends.
00:48:11I think the only friend he ever had was what he had into the imagination.
00:48:18Well, Baron was a troublemaker ever since he was little.
00:48:23Young whippersnapper, his mind was gone.
00:48:27You know, all the people that knew Baron, they thought he was crazy.
00:48:31They just didn't know.
00:48:41My name is Dean McDermott.
00:48:43I'm the president and chairperson of the IRO.
00:48:48That's the UFO Information Retrieval Organization.
00:48:53The IRO is a non-profit organization that is involved in fundraising
00:48:58as well as lobbying in order to try and establish a place
00:49:02where alien forces can land their spacecrafts without any fear of danger.
00:49:10What we have here is the plan that I've come up with
00:49:19to establish a space landing area in Scottsdale, Arizona.
00:49:23This is actually like a large parking lot, but it has lights for landing at night.
00:49:32It also will have some bleachers and a modest dwelling
00:49:37wherein we will have restrooms, telephones, and of course, snack machines.
00:49:43Sort of like a highway rest area.
00:49:47Let me turn this on and give you the effect.
00:49:57Hold on just one second.
00:50:04Is it on yet?
00:50:06Uh, no.
00:50:10Okay, hold on just one more second.
00:50:13Let me try this over here.
00:50:16Is it on yet?
00:50:16Uh, no.
00:50:18How about now?
00:50:19No.
00:50:21Not yet?
00:50:22Uh, nope.
00:50:23Hmm.
00:50:24Oh, yeah.
00:50:25Yeah, that's odd.
00:50:26Almost.
00:50:27Good.
00:50:28Ah, there.
00:50:30As you can see, the lights.
00:50:33Okay.
00:50:34Um, anyway, this area is set up also, as you can see, with a large antenna.
00:50:43And this could send out a radio signal, both in Morse code and in English, which says,
00:50:48Welcome to our planet.
00:50:50Please stop and introduce yourself.
00:50:53My name is Dean McDermott.
00:50:55This place is safe for landing.
00:50:58And this message, of course, repeats endlessly.
00:51:06Uh, do you feel that, uh, Baron was taken away by aliens?
00:51:11No, I do not.
00:51:13Uh, why don't you believe that?
00:51:15Because they, they being the aliens, like to work with humans who are cooperative and peaceful.
00:51:21And, uh, Baron, Baron was just stubborn and, and, and rude.
00:51:46Tell us your name and what a day did you do.
00:51:49My name is Nate Lund.
00:51:51I maintain a few websites.
00:51:53NateLund.com is a site for my own artwork.
00:51:58Uh, RagnarokStudio.com is, uh, public 3D artwork, tutorials, et cetera.
00:52:06And then BaronDixon.com.
00:52:07Uh, tell us about the BaronDixon website.
00:52:11Um, it's a site all about my cousin, Baron, who disappeared somewhere.
00:52:16Do you think he was taken to another planet?
00:52:20No.
00:52:20No.
00:52:21I know you're gonna ask that, but no.
00:52:24There's about 20 people or so that check into the message boards pretty much every day.
00:52:28Not twice a day.
00:52:30Uh, they post messages about where they think he might be.
00:52:33They talk about him.
00:52:34Take it way too seriously.
00:52:40So, do you believe in aliens?
00:52:43I know there's aliens.
00:52:45They took Baron.
00:52:48Another thing I do with the website is, well, people can report sightings of Baron.
00:52:54And, uh, most of the sightings are along Interstate 25 and 40.
00:53:00And then there's a few in Winnom, Minnesota and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
00:53:05Uh, we got relatives in both places.
00:53:10Uh, most of the people I come in contact with think he was abducted.
00:53:14And they're all a little bit like him.
00:53:19Uh, so you believe that you're going to go to the new planet?
00:53:24Why else would I be doing all this?
00:53:28What else do you do with the website?
00:53:30Um, it's the only one I make money with.
00:53:33Because I sell t-shirts to help keep it going.
00:53:37It's this one here.
00:53:38It says, where in the galaxy is Baron Dixon?
00:53:40Even though I don't believe he's out there, everybody else does.
00:53:44And this is what sells.
00:53:45So, it keeps people coming.
00:53:47The photo I got is from a birthday party for my brother.
00:53:53I also sell individual photos.
00:53:58Uh, now here's one guy, uh, claiming that he knows Baron Dixon's on the, uh, the third moon of Pluton.
00:54:07Um, uh, right.
00:54:19Did you enjoy being around Baron?
00:54:22No, no.
00:54:24Why not?
00:54:25He was creepy, actually.
00:54:27What, what was creepy about him?
00:54:30Well, he always had this thing where he'd want me to give him a piggyback ride.
00:54:33It was like a big hello.
00:54:35I don't know.
00:54:36I, I don't like that.
00:54:39How did I meet Baron?
00:54:41Um, well, when I joined the engineering faculty here, and, uh, that's a while ago now.
00:54:47Uh, I was a model rocket, uh, fanatic.
00:54:50Uh, I love the, the whole process of, uh, designing rockets.
00:54:54Uh, gluing them together, uh, late at night.
00:54:57And, uh, then the, uh, next morning going out on the range, uh, slamming home a big engine,
00:55:04and, whoosh, bang.
00:55:06I love that.
00:55:07So, I wanted to turn over people onto it.
00:55:10Uh, and I volunteered to teach a class at the, uh, Y.
00:55:13And, uh, that's where I met, uh, young, uh, young Baron.
00:55:17Uh, he, uh, he impressed me, uh, from the start.
00:55:21Uh, he was a smart kid, curious kid.
00:55:23Uh, we learned, uh, a lot, uh, together.
00:55:26Uh, uh, we designed, uh, some, uh, big rockets, and, uh, we shot them off.
00:55:31It was great fun.
00:55:33Do you believe that, uh, aliens may have taken him to another planet, then?
00:55:38Or?
00:55:40Well, aliens, I mean, to, to believe that, you gotta believe in, in aliens.
00:55:43And, I'm a scientist, uh, I don't believe in aliens.
00:55:46Uh, uh, uh, I don't believe that, uh, there are, uh, uh, you know, little green, or gray,
00:55:52or purple fellows, uh, uh, uh, swooping around in a spacecraft, uh, grabbing people, uh, taking
00:55:59them up for medical experiments, or for travel to other planets, or, uh, whatever.
00:56:05I, you know, what our evidence is very bad.
00:56:07No, I, I don't, I don't believe that.
00:56:09Then, uh, do you believe that he may have staged his disappearance?
00:56:14Well, like I said, I don't believe in aliens.
00:56:19But, there are facts, a couple of facts, about his disappearance, that I've thought a lot
00:56:25about, and that, uh, that troubled me.
00:56:28Uh, first, his dog.
00:56:31Uh, he loved his dog.
00:56:33And he, he loved his dog.
00:56:34I mean, he really loved his dog.
00:56:36Uh, it just didn't seem to me to be like him, just to abandon his dog.
00:56:42I mean, if he'd wanted to stage his disappearance, and then to start a, a new life, uh, uh, why
00:56:48didn't he just stage the abduction of his dog?
00:56:50I mean, aliens are, uh, uh, supposed to, uh, uh, swoop down and, uh, abduct cattle, right?
00:56:56Uh, uh, so why not, uh, why not a dog?
00:56:59I mean, it would have seemed credible.
00:57:01Uh, the second thing is his car.
00:57:04Uh, his car was found, uh, in, you know, in the middle of nowhere.
00:57:09Thirty miles from the nearest bus stop.
00:57:12Uh, if he staged his abduction, he left himself an awful long walk.
00:57:17Uh, uh, you know, why wouldn't he have just, uh, uh, uh, staged an abduction from, uh, a
00:57:23vacant lot, or from behind a restaurant?
00:57:26Uh, uh, uh, would have been far more convenient.
00:57:29So, there are a couple facts that trouble me about, uh, his, uh, disappearance.
00:57:34It seemed strange to me, but, you know, um, I, I'm not saying he was abducted by aliens.
00:57:40It just bothered me.
00:57:42Do you think that, uh, Randy and Ed may have had something to do with his disappearance?
00:57:48Or helped him with his disappearance?
00:57:50Randy and Ed. Randy and Ed.
00:57:52They're such burnouts.
00:57:54I mean, I doubt that those guys could have concocted a story and a scheme that was coherent
00:57:59enough, uh, to fool the police.
00:58:02And they would have broken down.
00:58:03They would have gotten confused under interrogation.
00:58:06I mean, those guys, I mean, between their interest in explosives and recreational chemicals,
00:58:12I mean, they've burned so many brain cells.
00:58:14I doubt they could get it together to help out, uh, Baron.
00:58:19Well, we got it all set here now.
00:58:23Five fish burritos?
00:58:25No, actually, that's, uh...
00:58:26Two bean burritos.
00:58:28Two, two fish burritos.
00:58:31And a pint of beans.
00:58:33And a pint of beans.
00:58:34That's all we need.
00:58:36Two fish burritos instead of beans.
00:58:38That's good.
00:58:39Thank you, Kevin.
00:58:39Excellent, amigo.
00:58:53This is Baron's apartment.
00:59:00My sister has several rentals in the area, so she's letting me keep the apartment so that when
00:59:07he, if he comes back, he'll have his own stuff and his own place.
00:59:16I kept everything just the way it was.
00:59:26Baron was a big fan of Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter.
00:59:30He felt that they were about to announce alien contact.
00:59:35But he kept records and Ronald Reagan made five separate speeches referring to aliens.
00:59:45Jimmy Carter made three.
00:59:49I think Baron felt that if they made reference to alien contact, people would accept him more.
01:00:00And maybe not be so mean to him.
01:00:06Do you mind if we take a look around the place? Would that be alright?
01:00:10No, I don't mind. Not at all.
01:00:14You go right ahead.
01:00:15It makes me a little sad being in here.
01:00:18If you don't mind, I'm going outside.
01:00:21Just take your time.
01:00:22Oh, thank you.
01:03:19Mr. Dixon's apartment was searched.
01:03:21Smoking paraphernalia was found that was coated with a marijuana residue.
01:03:25A small amount of marijuana was also found.
01:03:29Um, there is a concern.
01:03:31A great deal of information regarding serial killers was found in Baron's apartment.
01:03:36I'm afraid that he's going to kidnap my sister and kill her.
01:03:40He could do it.
01:03:41He's a psycho.
01:03:43We were also made aware that Mr. Dixon was making frequent contact with an ex-girlfriend.
01:03:49We were also told that he had said before his disappearance that he would be coming back
01:03:55to take his girlfriend with him.
01:03:58This department takes threats from ex-boyfriends very seriously.
01:04:02Especially those that collect information on serial killers.
01:04:07Baron was not a violent person.
01:04:11I mean, I know all the police are freaked out because of all the serial killer books that
01:04:15he has, but he has all kinds of books.
01:04:18He has books on Buddhism and gardening and he has the Bible and he has medicinal herb books
01:04:23and he has books on fishing and healing.
01:04:26I mean, why didn't they call him a great fisherman or a healer or something?
01:04:30I remember one time when Baron beat up his dad and his dad had to go to the hospital
01:04:35because Baron broke both his dad's feet.
01:04:41Well, Randy claims that Baron broke both of your feet.
01:04:46Broke my feet?
01:04:48No.
01:04:49I tripped, twisting my ankle or something,
01:04:52trimming over a damn dog or a toy or something.
01:04:55My name is Cynthia Lynn Bell.
01:04:58My daughter dated Baron Dixon.
01:05:01I didn't like Baron from the first moment that I met him.
01:05:05And my distrust of him only served to fuel Cathy's interest.
01:05:10She dated him just to rebel against me.
01:05:14My mom hated Baron more than I did.
01:05:17I'm not saying something because I really hated him.
01:05:21He went on and on about aliens and spaceships.
01:05:26He even went on to intimate to me that he had been chosen to help populate another world,
01:05:35to manage some workers or something.
01:05:38He was very scary.
01:05:40He frightened me.
01:05:42My mom used to ask me if Baron ever hit me.
01:05:45Baron would never hit me.
01:05:47He was always the hero.
01:05:49He would have protected me at all costs.
01:05:52He would have saved me no matter what.
01:05:55Or organized workers to move everybody to another planet.
01:06:02This is a grown man.
01:06:03And he's dating my daughter.
01:06:08Baron surprised me one day.
01:06:11He just almost ran up to me.
01:06:13He was very excited that he wanted to show me something.
01:06:17So he took out his wallet and he slipped out a picture.
01:06:20And the picture was of a lovely, a really beautiful young woman.
01:06:24And he told me it was his girlfriend.
01:06:27And we talked a little bit and he seemed very excited and very in love.
01:06:33And the whole incident kind of took me aback because I hadn't seen Baron with a girl really ever before.
01:06:41And I think this girl was perhaps his first love.
01:06:46Maybe he was in love for the first time in his life.
01:06:50He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:06:54He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:06:57He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:00He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:03He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:04He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:06He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:06He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:07He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:07He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:08He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:09He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:09He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:07:11He was in love for the first time in his life.
01:09:00On December 7, 1997, a missing persons report was filed on Ms. Catherine Bell.
01:09:10The last person to have seen Ms. Bell was her sister, a Ms. Kristen Bell.
01:09:18I saw my sister drive off. She was by herself. She was perfectly happy. Probably the happiest I'd ever seen
01:09:24her. She told me that she loved me, that she was going to miss me. And then she drove off.
01:09:30And she never came back.
01:09:32So you believe that she's with Baron and she's alive and well?
01:09:37Yes, I do.
01:09:38Yeah.
01:10:08She drove away under her own free will.
01:10:20How do you account for Kristen's sudden change of mind and now believing that her sister is with Baron and
01:10:29that she's fine?
01:10:32She's a little kid. She'll believe anything.
01:10:36Mr. Sloan and Mr. Tackett were questioned that evening and later released.
01:10:43Uh, what happened to you guys once Kathy disappeared?
01:10:49Well, I'll give you three fucking guesses. Here come the cops. First thing they did is ride a star ass
01:10:55up.
01:10:56Crawling all over.
01:10:57We know what happened. We told them.
01:10:59We told them.
01:11:00Barron's in space.
01:11:01Hey, what do you want from us?
01:11:04So, what do you believe happened to your friend, Kathy Bell?
01:11:11Oh, Baron probably kidnapped her and God knows what he did with her after that.
01:11:18He's a disgusting pervert.
01:11:23Well, see the good thing is if they came back for Kathy, like Baron said, then they should be coming
01:11:32back for us.
01:11:33They just have to come back, I guess, get people one at a time.
01:11:39That's what I figure.
01:11:41I can't wait. They can't get here soon enough. I'll leave all this shit behind.
01:11:46What is it?
01:11:47Some sort of picnic.
01:11:50Baron's involvement with Randy and Ed concerned me.
01:11:53He brought them over to the house a few times and I could see those boys were into the wrong
01:12:00kinds of things.
01:12:01As soon as they saw this lab equipment around here, well, our eyes lit up and, you know, they were
01:12:07asking me,
01:12:07well, how can we make this explosive or that explosive?
01:12:12And, you know, I was just saying, you know, no, no, we don't want to get into that.
01:12:17It doesn't look good for us.
01:12:21They're just going to believe what they want to believe and there's not much we can do.
01:12:25Probably try to pin it on us. Why not?
01:12:28Someone's got to take the fall.
01:12:31Yeah, they seemed morbidly interested in that kind of thing.
01:12:35And then when I said, no, no, there would be no creation of explosives in my house,
01:12:40they wanted to cook up some drugs.
01:12:42And then that evening, too, they wanted to cook up some, you know, acid speed.
01:12:48And I just said, hey, no, don't talk about this.
01:12:53They'll be coming back for us.
01:12:55They can't get here soon enough for me.
01:12:57I'm right up to here with this bullshit.
01:12:59I'd leave all this behind in a second.
01:13:03Move on with my life.
01:13:07Every time they came over, they seemed excited.
01:13:10I mean, like children and wanted me to come out to their souped-up car and look in the trunk
01:13:15and they'd have more guns.
01:13:17And some types, I thought, were probably illegal in automatic weapons, ammunition, and so on.
01:13:23So I was concerned and uncomfortable about his association with these two.
01:13:29It just seemed like they were into bad stuff.
01:13:58It just seemed like they were into bad stuff.
01:14:21Do you think you'll ever see Kathy again?
01:14:27No.
01:14:30No one listens to us.
01:14:31No one listens to me.
01:14:33Those fuckers.
01:14:34I don't give a shit.
01:14:35I'd sooner take my chances with the aliens than I would.
01:14:37I hope the aliens come back before the cops come back, though.
01:14:39That's what I mean.
01:14:40I'd rather be with the fucking aliens.
01:14:42My whole life's been in the shit van for months now.
01:14:48And then they still come back at us.
01:14:51I'll tell you what, it don't look good for me and Randy here.
01:14:54This is probably the end for me and Ed.
01:14:59My sister came home and told me she was going away.
01:15:02That two people had come up to her in the parking lot and asked if she wanted to go to
01:15:06the new planet to live with Baron.
01:15:08And of course she said yes.
01:15:10She was incredibly happy.
01:15:12She came home, gave me a hug, gave me this letter, and then she drove off.
01:15:20I'll read the letter.
01:15:24Dear mom and sis, I don't know how to say this so that you'll believe me, so I'll just be
01:15:29blunt.
01:15:30I'm going to go to another planet to live with Baron.
01:15:33We're going to live in a community with other people from Earth.
01:15:36The new planet is very clean and is unexplored.
01:15:39There are no businesses and no government and no money.
01:15:43Everyone is working together to build big gardens with sculptures, murals, and paintings.
01:15:48I know it sounds crazy and I know it sounds impossible, but I want you to believe me.
01:15:53The new planet is beautiful.
01:15:55I love you guys.
01:15:57I'll miss you.
01:15:58Love, Kathy.
01:16:02P.S.
01:16:03Sis, you're young and you're smart.
01:16:06Don't listen to what they tell you.
01:16:09Believe in yourself.
01:16:11Believe in a new planet.
01:16:15I believe.
01:16:18Believe in yourself.
01:16:18Believe in yourself.
01:16:35Believe in yourself.
01:16:37Believe in yourself.
01:16:37Believe in yourself.
01:16:38Believe in yourself.
01:16:39Believe in yourself.
01:16:40Believe in yourself.
01:16:41Believe in yourself.
01:16:42Believe in yourself.
01:16:43Believe in yourself.
01:16:43Believe in yourself.
01:16:46Believe in yourself.
01:16:46Believe in yourself.
01:16:47Believe in yourself.
01:16:47Believe in yourself.
01:16:50Where's Farron?
01:16:57Farron, Farron, the hell did you go?
01:17:01We were told forever you and now we're at the show!
01:17:12Farron, Farron
01:17:16The hell did you go?
01:17:25Farron, Farron
01:17:32The hell did you go?
01:17:35Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
01:18:08Oh, oh, oh, oh.
01:18:35Oh, oh, oh, oh.
01:19:05Oh, oh, oh.
01:19:36Oh, oh, oh, oh.
01:20:04Can we go back to Earth someday, Daddy?
01:20:06Can we go back to Earth someday, Daddy?
01:20:09Can we go back to Earth someday?
01:20:11Can we go back to Earth someday?
01:20:17You
