00:03We're here at Kenneworth Road, home to Luton Town Football Club. The reason being is the
00:07sponsorship slash advertising gone wrong. We was called up to come to the club, attend a
00:15meeting about an opportunity that seemed amazing at the time for a company of my size. We went to
00:23the executive suite and spoke what we were going to get in return and we was allowed to use Luton
00:28Town's logo in association with ourselves. For a company of our size is huge, could grow us
00:36significantly. We were told we'd get three tickets to a couple games and our board would go opposite
00:43where the cameras would be situed which is perfect especially for Sky Sports, things like that because
00:48at the time it was just before the semi-final, the play-off so I see the potential, see how
00:52the club
00:53was performing so I see them in the Premier League. Fast forward a few months after the deal was done
00:58one month's payment had come out plus the deposit to find out once I contacted Luton Town about
01:05possible painting work to go on at the club because the £10 million refurb I was greeted with a reply
01:11stating that I needed to contact Sporting Ads because they believed the deal wasn't standing
01:17anymore. This was news to Sporting Ads but Sporting Ads seemed just as confused as I was. Once they
01:24discovered that the deal had been cut we had no reason why it had been cut, just that as of
01:32the
01:33time of the phone call on that day the deal was done. Not just me there's many other small companies
01:39that have put money into this club to keep them going in the lower leagues. All of a sudden it
01:45seems
01:46that they've got the funding from the Premier League and probably big sponsors and we just brushed aside.
01:53Well there's probably many companies involved and they should stand forward as well. It's not right
01:58what's happened. From the uniform as well as we've been told we're allowed to use the logo, I've put an
02:04association with Luton Town on multiple items of clothing for my company, advertising boards, had it
02:09booked in to have the van logo on the van and various things like the logo on the website, things
02:16like
02:16that and I've had to undo it. As well as advertising now I've got to go back on my word
02:22and it can
02:24compromise the integrity of my company making me look like a liar like it never
02:27happened and now I've got to try and sort of recuperate lost costs.
