00:12I hope so. I hope the idea is that it brings back dawn and that's what Farhan has tried
00:22to do with this movie. He's made a tribute to the film. He's not really wanted to go
00:28into an issue of films being compared and saying, I'm going to make a better dawn. It's not that.
00:35And I don't think any of us have acted those characters like that, that I'm going to do it
00:38better than Pran Sahab or Shah Rukh is thinking that, oh, I have to do this better than Mr. Bachchan.
00:44So I think the newness, the newness of this film is that the characters performed it with their own style.
00:52They performed it with their own style. Like how Arjun would approach Pran Sahab's character.
00:57As an actor, how Shah Rukh would approach Mr. Bachchan, Don's character or Vijay's character in his style.
01:07But the screenplay, the story, the dialogue is quite similar to the old one.
01:15Do you want to tell us about his character?
01:19It's very straight, clear, one track of his emotion and that is revenge. He wants revenge from somebody who has
01:27put him into the situation that he is in.
01:30How was it being associated with the remake?
01:34I think it was wonderful because it's a remake of a film we've all loved and it's been a cult
01:39film from our era.
01:41When we were kids, we've all watched Dawn. I still remember the title sequence of Dawn.
01:45You know, I remember the dialogues, I remember the songs, you know, and the fashion and everything.
01:53So, I mean, just to have the guts to go and do it again, I think was very gutsy.
02:01And we had to be brave and we had to go and do it.
02:04And it was a vision that Farhan came with.
02:07And when he came to us, he told us very clearly, he didn't say that I'm making Dawn.
02:13He said that I want to make a tribute to Dawn because it's one of his favourite films as well.
02:18What kind of song is your favourite?
02:21I like Dawn's title of the song, I'm Dawn.
02:26I really like it.
02:28After that, it's The Night and Of Course.
02:31If you talk about the song, Dawn is the song.
02:34So, you don't know that the remake, which was added to the music,
02:39which was added to the originality of the film,
02:41which was added to the originality of the film,
02:41which was added to the remake.
02:45It's only two songs.
02:46Because I think,
02:50what Helen Ji has done in my heart,
02:52and what Kareena is doing,
02:54and I think Kareena has done a wonderful job in that song.
02:57But,
02:59I mean, even that little role of Helen Ji,
03:02which Kareena is doing,
03:04why would Kareena do it?
03:05Because it's a tribute to Helen Ji.
03:07So, we can't, if we can't change the song,
03:09then what's the fun of it?
03:11So, how does the tribute make it?
03:13If we change the song with Dawn,
03:15or to anything else,
03:19you know, catch Dawn here,
03:21who is Dawn or whatever.
03:22So, the remake is not done.
03:24What do you think of the comparisons that will be made?
03:29Comparisons, though I'm sure will be made.
03:30There will be many comparisons will be made,
03:32and people will say that was better,
03:33this was better,
03:34or whatever.
03:35But this has been a very honest and sincere attempt.
03:38And finally, after myself watching the film,
03:42the thing which I came out feeling,
03:43which was a very satisfying feeling,
03:45was that yes,
03:47if Dawn had to be remade ever,
03:49then this is the Dawn that,
03:50this is the Dawn.
03:51And I'm glad that I've been a part of it.
03:53And an honest confession,
03:55which was better,
03:56original or this?
03:57I like both of them.
03:59I think both are different.
04:00I think that for its time was wonderful,
04:03and was way ahead of its time.
04:05And in terms of technique and style,
04:08and a lot of end times of cinema of today,
04:13I think this one is way ahead of its time as well.
04:15How many videos should we normally press this?
04:21They should have written about all these things.
04:23It's a lot of questions but we won't recommend this.
04:27Did you Gabrielle please drop?
04:33Here's something and Nope.
04:38Thiss are the artists will actually ask them and say they will follow us,
04:40Oh My God.
04:42recipient of the name of the film,
04:42Does it have lured you?
04:43It's good for the V stage.ARIKE
04:45P kind of Sally. That's
04:45There is a lot of curiosity in our industry when two big films come together, but there are so many
05:03people in our country, so hopefully we can see both pictures, and Diwali and Eid's time, so I think one
05:12person can see two pictures.
05:14Not as urgent, but as a viewer, what do you think of Shah Rukh's performance?
05:17I think Shah Rukh, really I was so impressed after watching him in Dawn, because the way he has handled
05:23his character, and I think he's under immense pressure, and because it's a straight comparison to a legend, the legend
05:32Mr Bachchan himself, you know, and Mr Bachchan was outstanding in Dawn, and I was so impressed watching Shah Rukh,
05:39because I think he's really tackled the character extremely well,
05:43and what I'm really happy about is, he's done it in his own way, and in his own style.
05:47How many films do you feel?
05:50I'm very happy, I'm very satisfied as an actor, being a part of it.
05:56But I'm just anxious to see their reaction.
