00:00I think these are the two maybe most interesting, exciting young teams
00:06in the league right now, and there are certainly two of them.
00:10And I think the speed should be off the charts in this series.
00:14Yeah, no doubt.
00:15And by the way, I mean, I think I completely agree.
00:18I mean, the margins are razor thin.
00:19I bet if you polled 100 Sabres fans, it'd probably be, I don't know, 52-48
00:23one way or the other between the Canadians and Tampa Bay.
00:26I think the reason, I think my counterpoint to what you said,
00:31I think Tampa Bay would have tried to muck it up,
00:34and I think we saw in the regular season not very successful against Buffalo.
00:38But two things there.
00:39Number one, you know, Tampa playing that physical brand of hockey
00:42in the regular season to not much success against Buffalo,
00:46that can be re-informing about how they may have approached the second-round series.
00:51But I think more to the point, you know,
00:53when you have as deep of a team as the Sabres have, right,
00:57not, you know, the Sabres aren't coming with the best line in hockey,
01:01you know, quote-unquote.
01:02You can find that around a few different teams around the league.
01:05What the Sabres, and we have been banging this drum,
01:07and I think accurately all three of us, they are a very deep team.
01:11What they may give up in a little bit of, like,
01:13the true top-end superstar cut that some other teams have,
01:17they make up for and then some with depth.
01:18And when you look at Montreal, an incredible, an incredibly dynamic top line,
01:25but not nearly as deep as Tampa Bay.
01:28And I think that's an opportunity for the Sabres here in this series where,
01:32you know, the classic, you know, hockey idiom of, you know,
01:36we want to roll four lines and three pairs, blah, blah, blah.
01:39Not every series is very forgiving and allows you to do that.
01:42I think they're going to be able to do it against Montreal with success.
01:45Yes, they're going to have to deal with Montreal's top line.
01:48But I think, if nothing else,
01:50Tampa Bay put a lot on tape for the Sabres to chew on over the next 24 hours
01:55or so because first time in a long time,
01:58that trio of Caulfield, Tchaikovsky, and Suzuki were,
02:03I don't even want to say slowed down.
02:04I would say shut down by Tampa Bay.
02:06They got broken up.
02:07Although Montreal still advanced.
02:08Yeah.
02:08Yeah.
