Spirit Airlines, une compagnie aérienne américaine à bas coût, a annoncé, samedi 2 mai, un « arrêt progressif et ordonné » de son activité, entraînant l’annulation immédiate de l’ensemble de ses vols. L’entreprise, déjà en difficulté financière depuis des mois et lourdement affectée par la hausse des prix du kérosène, a demandé à ses clients de ne pas se rendre à l’aéroport.

00:28and they don't have staff at ticket counters.

00:41We got our flight canceled two times.

00:43First time was yesterday, and then they said to rebook the flight over again.

00:47And then we did rebook it, but then this morning when we got here,

00:51they were like, oh, we canceled all the flights because the Spirit shut them down.

00:54It's just been us here with three kids, two five-year-olds and 11-month-old,

00:59and we just went in the airport all night.
