00:00:04Previously, we've never had a showdown quite like this, the fight for the final immunity
00:00:15pushed Jackson to the breaking point.
00:00:18Will you give it to me or not?
00:00:20I'll take you.
00:00:20I'll give it.
00:00:21I need it more than you do.
00:00:23And it was Caleb and Loz.
00:00:25You inspired us so much, man.
00:00:27Standing strong in the air.
00:00:30I need to show strength.
00:00:31Just think of wearing that necklace.
00:00:33Jackson, be surprised that they haven't made a deal and they haven't stepped down yet.
00:00:38Probably no deals to be made, Dave.
00:00:41Maybe the person they want to make a deal with is already sitting on the bench.
00:00:46We're so proud of you, man.
00:00:48We love you so much.
00:00:49Caleb wins immunity.
00:00:52In an earth-shattering penultimate tribal, Loz.
00:00:57Caleb chose to risk it all.
00:01:01To a left.
00:01:03Who will become sole survivor?
00:01:25Day 45.
00:01:28Day 45.
00:01:36Oh, no way!
00:01:40Is that croissant?
00:01:41Bro.
00:01:43Oh, it's so fitting.
00:01:46Put it there, man.
00:01:47It's so fitting that we get to share this breakfast together.
00:01:50I know, eh?
00:01:52A big egg and bacon.
00:01:56Honestly, last night's tribal council.
00:01:59Yum.
00:02:01It was such a hard decision.
00:02:05I was 100% on taking Loz to the very end.
00:02:09But when I was standing on those poles,
00:02:11I lost my faith and my trust in Loz.
00:02:16We had said, like, look, if Jackson goes out,
00:02:18then we'll just get off.
00:02:20But neither of us were getting off.
00:02:22And it was like, well, if she's not getting off,
00:02:25that's pretty loud.
00:02:27Yeah, man.
00:02:27I realised she's going to take Jackson here.
00:02:30And it was that moment I realised
00:02:32I cannot afford to get off these poles no matter what.
00:02:36So then I had to choose
00:02:39who do I want to pitch my redemption story next to?
00:02:43The most beautiful, spirited kids ever.
00:02:46And it just goes to show that she is putting in the best work for them.
00:02:51You know, like, your pitch made a lot more sense to take you than her.
00:02:55I'll give you that.
00:02:58But now it's not going to be easy to win tonight.
00:03:01Tonight's going to be a showdown of the ages, bro.
00:03:06It comes down to who is going to be able to sell their story better.
00:03:12Me and Jackson have played this game of cat and mouse going after each other.
00:03:17But Jackson are showmen through and through.
00:03:21I mean, that's what he does for a living.
00:03:24He will come out swinging tonight.
00:03:29We've got one more leg to go.
00:03:31Yeah, man, it's been a crazy ride.
00:03:36I ain't sleeping on Caleb.
00:03:38I refuse to underestimate people in this game.
00:03:41Hey, Jax.
00:03:42How'd the best man win tonight?
00:03:45I believe that.
00:03:47But I'm a performer.
00:03:48I'm a showman.
00:03:50I'm going to have the jury eating out of the palm of my hand,
00:03:53bringing me to the final two.
00:03:55It is the $500,000 mistake that Caleb did not have to make.
00:04:35Zit.
00:04:37Wow.
00:04:39That's dropped.
00:04:41We'll now bring in the members of our jury.
00:04:44Mark.
00:04:46Blanche.
00:04:47Ben.
00:04:49Simon.
00:04:50Cameron.
00:04:52Brooke.
00:04:53Julie.
00:04:55Sally.
00:04:56And Loz.
00:04:58Loz.
00:04:58Yeah!
00:04:59The last private council.
00:05:08She's not happy with you.
00:05:30So, here we are, day 45.
00:05:36Two rivals in a showdown for ultimate redemption.
00:05:45You two have gone as far as you can go in this game.
00:05:48Tonight, the power shifts to the jury.
00:05:52Nine people that you had a hand in voting out of this game.
00:05:57Will now decide which of you wins the title of sole survivor and the half a million dollars that goes
00:06:05along with it.
00:06:08So, Caleb, would you like to kick us off?
00:06:11Okay.
00:06:13I'd love to.
00:06:15Hello everyone.
00:06:18What an honour it's been to be able to work with the most amazing special people and play this crazy
00:06:28game.
00:06:29It's been a wild ride.
00:06:31I want to kind of start on my redemption.
00:06:34I feel like my whole life, guys, I have been a bit of an underdog.
00:06:40I have been underestimated.
00:06:43And, look, I feel like I was underestimated in this game.
00:06:48Caleb Chaos was almost a bit of a front.
00:06:52But I've played a very tactical game and it's literally led me here to be final two.
00:06:59I felt like everybody knew what my mission was.
00:07:04It was the year of the underdogs.
00:07:07I pitched that us underdogs, we are going to really struggle against the best players.
00:07:13So why don't we all unite and get out the returnees.
00:07:17But then I made an alliance with Mark.
00:07:22I played one of the best double agent games I've ever seen.
00:07:27And I put a big blindside on one of the hugest players of the game.
00:07:34Then after that, I managed to stay in the right majority alliance,
00:07:39create the right relationships with the right people the whole time to make the final four.
00:07:44And then me and Loz, we teamed up, we put two votes on Sally.
00:07:50Sally and Jacko put two votes on me, we went to fire.
00:07:54And ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I made the quickest fire in a challenge in Australian Survivor History.
00:08:03Then we went to an individual immunity challenge and I finally won my first one.
00:08:09I lasted four hours and ten minutes on those pegs, which then led to me one of the hardest decisions.
00:08:17Why the hell did I take Jacko and not Loz?
00:08:24As I was up there, I realised something.
00:08:28She's taking Jackson.
00:08:30Otherwise, we could just get off.
00:08:31And I was like, I've got to take Jackson if I want to win.
00:08:36So, I had to get her out.
00:08:38Sorry, Loz.
00:08:43I'm so close to being redeemed.
00:08:46It's just an amazing feeling.
00:08:48And if I win today, then that's it.
00:08:51Then I have been truly redeemed in my big redemption arc.
00:08:57I'm not a wannabe.
00:08:59I am!
00:09:00Soul survivor!
00:09:13Jackson, what would you like to say to the jury?
00:09:19Hi, guys.
00:09:20I am so grateful to you all for the game that we've played together.
00:09:25With redemption on the line, we all came in here for something to prove something that bonded us.
00:09:32Day one started out on the bottom.
00:09:36I had no game.
00:09:38But I earned my right to keep playing in this game.
00:09:43Dirty Harry.
00:09:45I took out a nearly 100-day player with just 10 days in this game and a sad-looking fleet.
00:09:52I got very lucky in tribe swap, but I didn't let the luck just go to waste.
00:09:57I had Ben and Brooke, who needed a new alliance.
00:10:02And we gathered all of the troops.
00:10:04We looked around at a target, and who'd we land on?
00:10:08The big, bad Asha.
00:10:09And then we got her.
00:10:11The Beauty and the Beast.
00:10:12Ride it home.
00:10:15Come merge.
00:10:16This is where I made, I think, my biggest move in the game and the hardest move in the game.
00:10:24Then I'm...
00:10:25Bro, I'm sorry.
00:10:29But I saw Keely, Brooke, and Simon, and I saw my ticket to the final four of this game.
00:10:35I traded one beautiful shield for three more beautiful shields.
00:10:43And then, lo and behold, come end game.
00:10:45I have no allies left in this game.
00:10:47The only way through is to win a necklace.
00:10:50And you know what I did?
00:10:51I got myself a two-piece feet.
00:10:53I clutch up and I fill a hole in my resume in the physical challenge department.
00:11:00And battled my way through to the final three.
00:11:06I fought so hard tooth and nail every day.
00:11:09I got knocked down and I got back up again smarter.
00:11:13It wasn't survival, it was evolution.
00:11:16I proved that I was the biggest beast in the Beauty and the Beast.
00:11:19I was the only one in Club Kaput that didn't go kaput.
00:11:22And I am gonna be the only underdog left barking on the mountain.
00:11:27I'm sure as heck the only underdog that would run side by side with the big dogs.
00:11:32And I earned your respect.
00:11:35I learned from you.
00:11:37I played with you.
00:11:38And now I sit here and I outlasted you.
00:11:52Okay, jury.
00:11:54You've heard two very compelling pitches from Caleb and Jackson.
00:11:59Now, finally, it's your turn to ask the questions.
00:12:21Okay, jury.
00:12:22You've heard two very compelling pitches from Caleb and Jackson.
00:12:28Now, finally, it's your turn to ask the questions.
00:12:32Find out what you need from them.
00:12:34To make your half a million dollar decision.
00:12:44Alright, well, Keely.
00:12:45Yes.
00:12:46You got a question.
00:12:47I do.
00:12:49When I came to play survivor, I had a bit of a strategy, which was to commit as many survivor
00:12:58crimes as I could.
00:13:00No way.
00:13:01Hey.
00:13:02And I leave with quite a rap sheet.
00:13:05And so I want to hear from you guys about whether your game is similar to someone with a rap
00:13:14sheet of petty crimes or is it major crimes?
00:13:19Look, I got a bit of a rap sheet going.
00:13:22Moments like winning a fire challenge.
00:13:24Moments like staying on awful pegs for four and a half hours or getting out of redemption beach.
00:13:30I got a few there that I kind of covered in my opening pitch.
00:13:38Think of crimes like risk, okay?
00:13:41So is there any crime or risk that you wish that you did make and you didn't?
00:13:49I think my biggest risk I didn't take was putting more faith into Loz.
00:13:55I think throughout the game, I had opportunities to really go forward with her in this game.
00:14:01And trusting her survivor instincts.
00:14:04Because she, man, she played a great, great game.
00:14:14Brooke.
00:14:16Jacko.
00:14:18I think out of everyone here, you are the one person that didn't come out laser focused on gunning for
00:14:26returnees.
00:14:27The way that you used us to your advantage, I found incredible and very, very rare.
00:14:36I would just, I don't want to say that we're talking about fear or hesitation to work with returnees.
00:14:45This man right here was not afraid to talk to me on night one.
00:14:49But he also wanted you gone from the first travels.
00:14:52I needed to learn.
00:14:54I needed to learn from the best.
00:14:56And what a better way than to find the best players.
00:15:00And like, the thing is, Mark, you know, I, I, that was really hard for me in the end to
00:15:05make that flip.
00:15:09I'll jump in.
00:15:10I'll jump in.
00:15:10So, can you claim a move if you weren't the one driving it?
00:15:18Like, I feel like, that Mark vote, I'm the one that made the decision that said, Mark's going.
00:15:25Well, it was either you or Mark.
00:15:28And I had to make that decision.
00:15:30And I go, the numbers are there.
00:15:34There's a plan there.
00:15:36I want to make it happen tonight and I made it happen.
00:15:41I've got a question for you both.
00:15:43How much time do you both believe that you were driving your game and having influence over your game versus
00:15:49being a passenger?
00:15:51You're allowed to be a passenger in this game as long as you kind of earned the right to let
00:15:55someone else drive.
00:15:58I played a big, flashy game.
00:16:01I spoke openly at tribal council.
00:16:04I was pretty brash.
00:16:08But I could back it up because I hid myself in very tight shields.
00:16:13And when I made these big moves, like eliminating Ben and placing myself under the care of Keeley, Brook and
00:16:18Simon,
00:16:19I tucked myself away in there.
00:16:21Did I have to continue to drive boats hard every single day?
00:16:25No, that's a good way to put a target on your back.
00:16:29My problem in this game is when people play passenger for too long and hide in the numbers.
00:16:38Yeah, look, I, um, with the underdogs that I had on my tribe, I was also pitching and we were
00:16:46literally waiting for opportunities to strike.
00:16:49If you weren't such a passenger, can you give an example on a time that you were driving and influencing
00:16:55a decision?
00:16:56When were you in the driver's seat?
00:17:00Every single time working with the returnees, at the same time having my foot in the other door with underdogs,
00:17:09you know what I mean?
00:17:10Waiting and watching for enough numbers there and being able to play this big, amazing double game.
00:17:19I think that, look, your double agent play and you're flying under the radar and an espionage and all that
00:17:27is amazing.
00:17:28But if you're claiming that, then I'm going to sit here and claim it too.
00:17:32Because in my head, the concept of double agent is simply playing survivor.
00:17:36Playing this game is lying and telling people that you're going with this plan, but actually it's going to be
00:17:41this one.
00:17:42Can I just jump in? Caleb, can you explain to the jury how much you manipulated me?
00:17:48You have to explain this.
00:17:50You did. You absolutely did. From day one until I got voted off.
00:17:54And you could have voted Ben or you could have voted me and you chose to vote me.
00:17:59I literally played a game where I could totally have Mark as my alliance.
00:18:06And I would get every single little bit of information from Mark and do the same thing to the other
00:18:12group.
00:18:14At one time, I'm telling Mark all these crazy names from the underdogs, which none of them were real.
00:18:20And at the same time, I'm working with Mark saying, oh yeah, I'm going to do this big Ben vote.
00:18:26I saw you do the double agent thing with Mark.
00:18:30And I saw Mark believe you until the very last second.
00:18:34The girls thought that Mark needed a T-shirt that said, I love Caleb.
00:18:37Because everyone was trying to tell Mark, do not trust Caleb.
00:18:42And yet he still did.
00:18:50Mark, you got a question?
00:18:53Yeah.
00:18:56Jackson, you're a great presenter.
00:18:58You're a great speaker and it's very appealing.
00:19:01And particularly at a final tribal council.
00:19:04But what is bothering me is that you're very focused on theatrics and the big players.
00:19:13However, I think that sometimes as the mayor of Drew Villa, watching people come in here, you've ignored other people.
00:19:24And they have a vote just as much as I have a vote.
00:19:29So are you at all concerned that you have ignored some people on this jury and that may affect your
00:19:37chances of winning this game?
00:19:38Yes.
00:19:39Yes.
00:19:47Yes.
00:20:03Jackson, are you at all concerned that you have ignored some people on this jury and
00:20:10that may affect your chances of winning this game?
00:20:131000%.
00:20:14I think it's been my biggest pitfall in my game.
00:20:17I feel on a personal level, I have let relationships go by the white side.
00:20:23And it is a massive regret of mine in this game.
00:20:26It is a part of the game that I'm going to put two hands up and say,
00:20:30if I ignored you throughout the last 45 days, it was not personal.
00:20:34Being out here is hard.
00:20:36And a lot of the time I would only think about the game.
00:20:40I'm one of those people that you ignored.
00:20:45I was on the game with you for 18 days.
00:20:49And I watched you have personal chats with lots of people around me.
00:20:54And I really made an effort to talk to you, to get to know you.
00:20:58I could tell you 10 things about you.
00:21:00Could you tell me something personal about me that you think that you asked me?
00:21:04Because you're asking me to vote for you tonight.
00:21:07I need to know that you know something about me.
00:21:13I'm going to sit here and say I have no idea.
00:21:20I'm sure along the 18 days there was a question asked.
00:21:23But if you feel undervalued in this moment about the relationship that I presented to you,
00:21:28then that is your truth.
00:21:30And as I said, only something that I can say sorry for.
00:21:39Caleb, the flip side to my question to Jackson,
00:21:42how did you intentionally position yourself differently to people in the tribe
00:21:47to make them engage with you?
00:21:49So, like, how did you become a double agent?
00:21:54What I tried to do was just find something that I can individually relate to with everyone.
00:22:03It's like, these are all so different.
00:22:06And if I can find one thing in common with you,
00:22:10then maybe we can start something here.
00:22:14I also feel like I played a much different game.
00:22:18Like, I never punched down on people.
00:22:21I never called people out.
00:22:23I've always wanted to be a safe place for everyone.
00:22:28And when you're having a hard day, you can fall on that.
00:22:34Your positivity was infectious, for sure.
00:22:37Thank you, bro.
00:22:39All right, Loz, have you got a question?
00:22:41Yeah, um, congratulations, guys.
00:22:44I'm really appreciating your honesty tonight, so let's keep it going.
00:22:49Jackson, at times I've felt that you've had these big showman moves,
00:22:56and I haven't really seen Jackson.
00:23:02And it wasn't really until we'd been on those pegs for, like, three hours,
00:23:08I started to see Jackson.
00:23:12And I just want to understand why it took so long.
00:23:21I don't give myself to people, and especially not very easily.
00:23:26I feel like I have a wall up all the time.
00:23:31And in wrestling, that helps, because you can just be your character.
00:23:35And it has been a detriment, not just my game, but my whole life.
00:23:40But being out here with you all and sharing redemption stories
00:23:45has really changed me to my core.
00:23:49And it's crazy that the only two things that I feel like have opened me up
00:23:55and made me be vulnerable and changed my spirit
00:23:59are professional wrestling and now Survivor.
00:24:05I dropped out of university to chase my dreams of being a professional wrestler,
00:24:11and I think it broke my parents' heart.
00:24:15I came out here day one just looking for redemption,
00:24:20looking to prove to my mum that everything that I did wasn't selfish.
00:24:25I was doing it for her.
00:24:27And, guys, she's here.
00:24:29She's never left the country before.
00:24:31She's never left Australia before.
00:24:32And she came onto the show, and she watched me go through three hours of hell.
00:24:40She said, I'm proud of you.
00:24:50It's kind of all I've ever wanted, really.
00:24:53It's worth the 45 days.
00:24:55It's worth the pegs.
00:24:56It's worth the blindsides.
00:24:57It's worth everything out here.
00:25:03And she deserves the world.
00:25:06And I want to give that to her.
00:25:12Caleb?
00:25:14We kind of found each other,
00:25:16and I feel like we created a great bond together,
00:25:20and we really became ride-and-dies for each other.
00:25:27But something shifted.
00:25:29Something changed.
00:25:31Something happened with our ride-and-die.
00:25:34So I really want to know why and at what point you chose to write my name down
00:25:41so I can understand why I'm the one sitting here and Jackson's sitting there.
00:25:56This is the hardest part of my game.
00:26:01Every single thing I said to you was 100% true,
00:26:04but you were my ride-or-die.
00:26:05But then, as I went in my fourth hour of agony,
00:26:10I went into my own head, like, hang on a sec.
00:26:12Like, you've played an insane game.
00:26:14I'm not going to beat that.
00:26:17And then I thought, hang on a sec.
00:26:18She's also a single mum of two teenage girls who really needs this.
00:26:23Ah!
00:26:24Why are they going to give it to the weirdo snake guy?
00:26:26Ah!
00:26:28And so I'm going to have to make the worst decision I've ever made in Survivor.
00:26:34But was it the worst decision or your best decision?
00:26:40Claim it. Claim it, Catelyn.
00:26:44I want you to claim.
00:26:46This bad-ass move.
00:26:48It's epic.
00:26:49Like, you took out your ride-and-die at three people.
00:26:54I want you to claim it because I'm here and it's hard and it hurts.
00:26:58And I want to hear how awesome it is.
00:27:00It is a massive move.
00:27:02I did a Jackson on Ben.
00:27:04I did a Caleb on Mark.
00:27:06It was a huge moment for me and I'm sorry that you, you know, copped it last night.
00:27:15But I just thought, this is the only chance I'm ever going to get to actually get to final two,
00:27:20to make a pitch and have a chance at Soul Survivor.
00:27:24I've always needed this moment to really change my life and change the life of others.
00:27:30Because I've always come from a place where there was no money and the money that I might get here.
00:27:36It could really change, not the life of me, but the life of my future, my children, my children's children.
00:27:44It could really be generationally different.
00:27:50When it comes to redemption, as a kid I knew the man I wanted to be.
00:27:57I never had the opportunity.
00:28:00But now I know that I can pretty much do anything after doing something like this.
00:28:06And my redemption story has come full circle.
00:28:12I know that I said, you know, if I win, then it has.
00:28:15But like, deep down, we all know that I hit that redemption out here.
00:28:20And that's, that's, you know, that's worth a million dollars to me.
00:28:29All right, Jury.
00:28:30You should have all the information you need to decide who deserves that title of Soul Survivor.
00:28:36And the half a million dollars that goes along with it.
00:28:40So, the last time.
00:28:45It's time to vote.
00:28:58It's time to vote.
00:29:07Remember, tonight you are voting for a winner.
00:29:13For the last time.
00:29:16It's time to vote.
00:29:21Mark, you're up.
00:29:30It's time to vote.
00:29:31This is a while.
00:29:34Mate, great game.
00:29:36So proud to vote for you.
00:29:37Win or lose.
00:29:39It's a pleasure playing with you.
00:29:40Hope you win.
00:30:06Jackson, not only did you find
00:30:10your feet in this game, you found yourself in this game, you know, I think that is the
00:30:15ultimate redemption.
00:30:27Keeley, you're up.
00:30:55I'll count the votes.
00:31:16Keeley, you're up.
00:31:21Well, 24 people entered this game looking for redemption.
00:31:26I think it's safe to say that you all well and truly have found it.
00:31:32It's been an incredible season with an electric finish.
00:31:37Now, Caleb and Jackson, the only thing left to do is read the vote.
00:31:47We're going to do that back in Australia.
00:31:53I'll see you then.
00:31:59I'll see you then.
00:32:01I'll see you then.
00:32:03I'll see you then.
00:32:08I'll see you then.
00:32:26I'll see you then.
00:32:38I'll see you then.
00:32:38I'll see you then.
00:32:45I'll see you then.
00:33:00I'll see you then.
00:33:02I'll see you then.
00:33:12I'll see you then.
00:33:19I'll see you then.
00:33:20I'll see you then.
00:33:23Welcome to the grand finale.
00:33:27How special is this?
00:33:30Thanks.
00:33:31I couldn't think of a better spot to wrap up this incredible season than right here on the iconic Sydney
00:33:39Harbour with our amazing fairs.
00:33:44Are you guys ready to bring this one home?
00:33:52Jackson, Caleb, you did what no one else could do.
00:33:55You made it to the end.
00:33:57Congratulations.
00:34:00One of you is about to be crowned sole survivor and walk away with half a million dollars.
00:34:09Caleb, I know you only come in two modes.
00:34:12How are you feeling?
00:34:13Chaotic or calm right now?
00:34:14Look, I'm pretty calm.
00:34:15You know, I've had a lot of time to think and reflect.
00:34:18So chaos will come out.
00:34:20Don't worry about that.
00:34:20Right now, I'm pretty good.
00:34:22I'm pretty good.
00:34:24Jackson, you've been wondering what's in this urn for a few months now.
00:34:27How are you feeling?
00:34:28I am feeling fantastic.
00:34:30How are we tonight?
00:34:35It's the reunion.
00:34:36It's the finale.
00:34:37I said, how are we tonight?
00:34:49All right.
00:34:51These votes are for the winner.
00:34:55No, Caleb.
00:34:56No, Caleb.
00:34:56For the final time, I'll read the votes.
00:35:08First vote.
00:35:14Jackson.
00:35:21Jackson.
00:35:24Jackson.
00:35:25Two, two, three, two.
00:35:33Caleb.
00:35:36That's one vote, Caleb.
00:35:38Two votes, Jackson.
00:35:44We're tied.
00:35:46We're tied.
00:35:47That's two votes, Caleb.
00:35:49Two votes, Jackson.
00:35:54We're tied.
00:35:55We're tied.
00:35:56We're tied.
00:35:57We're tied.
00:36:06We're tied.
00:36:07We're tied.
00:36:09We're tied.
00:36:09We're tied.
00:36:09We're tied.
00:36:09That's three votes, Caleb. Three votes, Jackson.
00:36:22Caleb.
00:36:25That's four votes, Caleb. Three votes, Jackson.
00:36:38The winner of Australian Survivor Redemption, Caleb.
00:36:44Yeah!
00:37:03I did it! I did it! I did it!
00:37:08The winner of Australian Survivor Redemption and half a million dollars, Caleb.
00:37:19Let's go!
00:37:23The crazy winner in a season full of crazy gameplay.
00:37:28This season might be wrapped, but another one is just around the corner.
00:37:34In 2027, Survivor will be back.
00:37:3924 new players, they come to the world's first league.
00:37:43In a brand new location, Malaysia.
00:37:49Well, Survivor reunion is just up the break and nothing is off the table.
00:37:54The blast, the blast, the betrayal, the biggest moves of the season.
00:38:00They're ready to spill it all right after this.
00:38:18Welcome to the Survivor reunion.
00:38:23This season was all about redemption.
00:38:2624 people hit the beach with something to prove.
00:38:30We hoped they'd play hard, but these players threw everything at the wall.
00:38:35The gameplay was cutthroat and completely unpredictable.
00:38:39We had returnees, we had revolutions, bluffs, blindsides, breakouts of big-movitis.
00:38:47We had more alliances than days in the game.
00:38:49Let's hear it for our players for an incredible season of Australian Survivor.
00:38:59And it must be the year of the underdog.
00:39:02Because Caleb has just been crowned sole survivor and awarded half a million dollars.
00:39:18Caleb, you said you've never been a winner.
00:39:20How does it feel?
00:39:21Oh, mate, I can't process it right now.
00:39:24You know what I mean?
00:39:24I'm still the same Caleb from Bronia and Fern Tree Gully.
00:39:27So, honestly, at the end of the day, I wouldn't be sitting here, crowned sole survivor,
00:39:33without the help of so many amazing people.
00:39:35You know what I mean?
00:39:36People like Mark and Loz and Sally and Don and so many people.
00:39:40I could go through the whole of them.
00:39:41Plenty of time for shout-outs later.
00:39:45Caleb, you were laughing your head off, embracing the chaos,
00:39:48grabbing fish out of the ocean with your bare hands.
00:39:53Does it feel like this game was just tailor-made for you?
00:39:56It actually is, man.
00:39:57Like, I've always loved being a wild card.
00:39:59I've always loved survival.
00:40:01And it was just in a big nutshell for me.
00:40:04I can't believe it took me this long to go.
00:40:07Now, Jackson, you're not walking away with the $500,000, but how proud are you of your game?
00:40:14Oh, I'm ridiculously proud of the way I played, especially considering that Survivor is completely new territory for me.
00:40:21But I learned from the greats, such as Brooke and Mark and Simon.
00:40:26And, man, it's called Redemption for a reason.
00:40:29I went out there with something to prove and I proved it.
00:40:32Well, mate, you played a hell of a game.
00:40:35You weren't afraid to ruffle some feathers.
00:40:37Who do you think voted for you?
00:40:39Voted for me?
00:40:40Hmm.
00:40:42I want a note, too.
00:40:45You dirty dog!
00:40:47Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:40:48New one, bro.
00:40:49Chill out, chill out.
00:40:50Well, wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:40:50How about we just take a look?
00:40:53Hey!
00:40:54All right.
00:40:56Oh, my hit list is about to get so big.
00:40:58For the last time, it's time to vote.
00:41:07Mark, you're up.
00:41:15Mate, great game.
00:41:17So proud to vote for you.
00:41:18Win or lose, it's a pleasure playing with you.
00:41:21Hope you win.
00:41:22Jackson, not only did you find your feet in this game,
00:41:27you found yourself in this game.
00:41:29And I think that is the ultimate redemption.
00:41:32You had the ability to make so many people fall in love with you
00:41:37and it was incredible to watch.
00:41:40What you've done to get to where you are is inspiring
00:41:43and I hope Scott Green can buy a few more outfits with this
00:41:48and then he lets Devo get new.
00:41:50You played an incredible strategic and social game
00:41:53and I think you've got this in the bag.
00:41:57Crazy.
00:42:00Oh, my prince of good foot,
00:42:03you have made it and I am so proud.
00:42:06You played a phenomenal game
00:42:09and you stay true to yourself.
00:42:12You're completely authentic.
00:42:14But you need to get a bit of pitches, bro.
00:42:16I don't know what that pitch was.
00:42:17But you came around.
00:42:18I'm working on it.
00:42:19I'm working on it.
00:42:19I'm very proud to be putting my vote with you.
00:42:23Out with Outplay Outlast and that you did,
00:42:26I can't wait to see you on the outside.
00:42:31Caleb, I'm voting for you tonight
00:42:33because you've played a great game
00:42:35and you deserve it
00:42:36and I can't wait to go fishing with you.
00:42:47Well, Caleb took it out with six votes to three.
00:42:51Now, Keely, I'm going to put you on the spot here.
00:42:53Oh, no.
00:42:53You were in an alliance with Jackson
00:42:56but you voted for Caleb.
00:42:58Oh.
00:43:00Why?
00:43:02I was always gunning for Caleb
00:43:04and I couldn't quite get him
00:43:06so I had to write his name down at least once
00:43:08and that was it.
00:43:10Good time to have it written down.
00:43:13Simon, why did you vote for Jackson?
00:43:15Yeah, it was a no-brainer
00:43:18as someone who spent their duration of the game with Jackson
00:43:21and watching how green he came into the game,
00:43:23watching how down he was after losing Eliza
00:43:26and then watching him grow and flourish as a player
00:43:29and fall in love with his game
00:43:31was just incredible.
00:43:35All right, well, they went head to head
00:43:37from beginning to end.
00:43:38Caleb and Jackson's rivalry will go down
00:43:41as one of the greatest rivalries in Survivor history.
00:43:45Hell yeah!
00:43:47And bringing in Caleb from the Baron.
00:43:51Hello, everybody.
00:43:54I just want to put out to everyone
00:43:55that we are playing around powerhouses.
00:43:59Let's get him in, man!
00:44:03Caleb, bro, he...
00:44:05Oh!
00:44:06Dave, if you're going to say my name,
00:44:08make sure you say it right.
00:44:09Right now, I'm Dirty Harry.
00:44:12Caleb is the serpent of this game,
00:44:15slithering through camp
00:44:16and a smile on his face.
00:44:19You wearing any Harry stuff tonight?
00:44:20Nah, bro.
00:44:21Nah?
00:44:22Nah, why are you so paranoid about that?
00:44:24Oh, it's just, you know,
00:44:25steal other Survivor players' currency
00:44:27to make yourself relevant.
00:44:28I thought you might bring it to tribal
00:44:29and do it again.
00:44:30I didn't even take you to be a sensitive type.
00:44:33I just think it's cringe that he comes to our tribal
00:44:36and says,
00:44:36we need to take out the returning players
00:44:38and then he's playing dress-up as them the next day.
00:44:41He sounds like he's a very opinionated guy.
00:44:44That's okay.
00:44:45I don't know what Jackson's beef with me is.
00:44:49This is a non-contact sport.
00:44:51You're firing some shots at me.
00:44:53Every single one missed, mind you.
00:44:54I was...
00:45:00What have you got?
00:45:02A full breakfast.
00:45:08The board's still on, Dagger.
00:45:10Bro took my bacon and eggs.
00:45:12Bro doesn't know.
00:45:13That's the most expensive $500,000 big breakfast
00:45:16he's ever going to have to take on his bike.
00:45:18But, like, differences aside, right,
00:45:22it actually would look sick-ass for me and you
00:45:25to have a big back-and-forth in, you know, tribal council.
00:45:31Loz.
00:45:38Wacko, Jacko.
00:45:40Maybe you shouldn't have picked a fight with Caleb Chaos.
00:45:50Jackson, you two traded a lot of words,
00:45:53but at some point, did the rivalry become more about,
00:45:56like, a mutual respect?
00:45:58Yeah.
00:45:58I mean, the respect you build for people out here
00:46:01is unlike you'd get anywhere else.
00:46:03And the respect I have for Caleb now is...
00:46:05Through the roof.
00:46:07Same goes.
00:46:08Yeah.
00:46:08Same goes.
00:46:10Well, it was a showdown right to the very end,
00:46:12but to get there,
00:46:13we saw one of the biggest blindsides of the season.
00:46:18Loz, did you ever imagine
00:46:20that Caleb wouldn't take you to the end?
00:46:23Um...
00:46:24I was pretty solid going into that final endurance challenge.
00:46:26I felt pretty good,
00:46:27but something happens up on those pegs.
00:46:30Like, it's just...
00:46:31You have this kind of experience,
00:46:33which is really hard to describe,
00:46:34and over that course,
00:46:36I just started to wonder.
00:46:37Like, it started to creep in.
00:46:40Yeah.
00:46:40So I definitely started building the doubt up on those pegs.
00:46:43Well, this season was defined by huge tribal councils,
00:46:48with some of the juiciest,
00:46:50most mind-blowing tribals Australian Survivor has ever seen.
00:46:58You guys were curious about travel.
00:47:01You can absolutely vote for me tonight,
00:47:04but just know I'm not letting you start for it.
00:47:09I just have to say, well done.
00:47:12Harry.
00:47:15What?
00:47:18Each tribe will go head-to-head in a five-minute challenge.
00:47:22Shall we show you a fire going up to the trouble?
00:47:25All right.
00:47:26Ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:47:27Ooh, ooh!
00:47:29Ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:47:30Ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:47:32Yeah!
00:47:36Time to win the fire challenge!
00:47:39Yeah!
00:47:39I was happy to throw a challenge
00:47:41because I want Brooke packing her bag
00:47:43with boots to the challenge.
00:47:45Ha, ha, ha!
00:47:46May this be a poetic lesson in the dangers and consequences of throwing challenges.
00:47:52Tenth person voted out of Australian Survivor Redemption.
00:47:55Asha.
00:47:59Blindsided with an idol in my pocket.
00:48:02Oh no.
00:48:11Faith.
00:48:25Think about Survivor when you wear a jacket.
00:48:28It's got a lot of pockets.
00:48:37Is that you, bitch?
00:48:40Was that you?
00:48:42That was my later.
00:48:44Are you?
00:48:45Richie.
00:48:46I've never spoken.
00:48:51Oh, Brookie.
00:48:56I've also got a nice little package myself.
00:49:01Two special surprises tonight.
00:49:03Come on, Bob.
00:49:03Yeah, I'm strange.
00:49:05You're lost.
00:49:06I hope you've got it.
00:49:09Blanche.
00:49:19So many big moves and blindsided, Steve.
00:49:23Well, earlier in the season, Expedia and their travel rewards program OneKey gave you the chance to win $10,000
00:49:31worth of OneKey cash.
00:49:33Now, all you had to do was vote for your favourite Tribal Council moment.
00:49:38Congratulations.
00:49:39D. Cronshaw from New South Wales.
00:49:43You've won yourself $10,000 of OneKey cash.
00:49:48Thanks to Expedia.
00:49:50Well, we can't talk about Big Tribals without talking about Dirty Harry and the Flint Roulette.
00:49:59Harry, on your first season you were so unkillable you were known as the Cockroach.
00:50:05Why was it so much harder to shift the target this time around?
00:50:09Look, I don't know.
00:50:10I feel like I would be, we would be understating the players here if I didn't give them the credit
00:50:18they deserve.
00:50:19I mean, we've got players like Lottie here.
00:50:21We've got Asher here.
00:50:23So many of the players that I started with, it was like day two.
00:50:26They were already ready to play like returnees.
00:50:28So I just have to give them credit that they came after me.
00:50:33I think it was a great play.
00:50:35They have my number.
00:50:37Well, this season really proved that when everyone comes to play, great players can go home at any moment.
00:50:46Paula.
00:50:46Hi, Daddy D.
00:50:48You landed on the beach, made great allies, started making moves, and then you're blindsided.
00:50:53Is your head still spinning?
00:50:55It was painful to watch, but I think that kind of really started everything up.
00:51:03Lottie had our number and she clocked us pretty quickly, which was unsettling, to say the least.
00:51:08And Simon, you dirty dog.
00:51:14Mark, your first season is known for its wild gameplay.
00:51:18Were you surprised by how crazy these tribals were, or did it feel like coming home?
00:51:23I loved the season that I first played in, and I learned so much from the other players that I
00:51:28played with.
00:51:28So I was just taking lessons from all of the greats.
00:51:31They were the ghosts that were haunting me, but also they taught me all my lessons.
00:51:35So I just went out there, I'm like, hey, if Varys and Kirby and Eileen and Edith and Val, everyone,
00:51:42if they can do these great moves to tribal, why can't I?
00:51:44And so, from day one, I was not holding back at all.
00:51:47And you didn't.
00:51:54All right, we'll dive more into the biggest tribals later tonight.
00:51:58After the break, Mark will be haunted by his not-so-recent past,
00:52:02as the people he's blindsided come back to haunt him.
00:52:06But first, our friends at MasterChef have a message for our sole survivor, Caleb.
00:52:13And big congratulations from all of us here at MasterChef to you, Caleb,
00:52:17for taking out the title of sole survivor.
00:52:19That was an epic game.
00:52:21Survivor Redemption was such an incredible season to watch.
00:52:23I was on the edge of my seat.
00:52:25You definitely deserve to win,
00:52:27and especially after eating rice and beans for the last 45 days.
00:52:32Well done!
00:52:33Enjoy the spoils of your big win,
00:52:35and Australia will see you right here this Sunday at 7pm
00:52:38for the launch of a brand-new season of MasterChef.
00:52:52Welcome back to the Survivor reunion.
00:52:55This season, 20 new players hit the starting mat alongside four returnees.
00:53:04Tez, here he is.
00:53:05You're a massive fan of the game.
00:53:08What did you think when you landed on the mat
00:53:10and you saw that you're going to be playing against these returnees?
00:53:14I was shocked.
00:53:15I mean, Brookie Jowett, she's not a legend for no reason.
00:53:21It's surreal.
00:53:22I mean, watching the show since I was six years old,
00:53:25you freeze up.
00:53:26And, unfortunately, that's what I did.
00:53:30Stop your test!
00:53:31Woo!
00:53:37Well, the newbies started with the numbers,
00:53:41but that didn't stop the returnees
00:53:43from casting a long shadow over the game.
00:53:45None more than the man
00:53:48with a blazer full of blindsides.
00:53:50Mark.
00:53:53I am here for redemption and vengeance.
00:53:57The last time I played,
00:53:58my dead allies got cut
00:54:00because I wasn't cut throat enough.
00:54:02Go over here.
00:54:03Go over here, boys.
00:54:04Oh, a lot of movement.
00:54:07So, I want my stupid cat.
00:54:11Mark is the PM of this tribe,
00:54:13the Prime Minister.
00:54:15He's a very good manipulator this game.
00:54:17I've never seen anything like that.
00:54:19I have a really tight grip
00:54:21of the tribe,
00:54:23the game,
00:54:23and relationships.
00:54:25So, you know,
00:54:26would you say that it is number one?
00:54:28I really want you to know
00:54:29that I really want to go deep with you as well.
00:54:32That's why when I saw you,
00:54:33I wanted to say,
00:54:41my reach has no limits.
00:54:44It's like these tentacles
00:54:46that just wrap around these newbies.
00:54:47I've already got a name for us.
00:54:49I like to share with the boomerangs
00:54:50because we always come back.
00:54:52And now I am the biggest player on the beach.
00:54:56By a country mile.
00:54:57It's like,
00:54:58you come for me,
00:55:00you die.
00:55:02Screw you, Mark.
00:55:04Your mark on this game is a stain
00:55:05and it must be removed.
00:55:12Take it.
00:55:13You're the best man.
00:55:14The thing about Survivor,
00:55:15when you wear a jacket,
00:55:17it's got a lot of pockets.
00:55:20So,
00:55:21that's me.
00:55:24That's me, Rich.
00:55:26Sure.
00:55:28Richard.
00:55:30Mark,
00:55:30he is the soul collector.
00:55:33He is collecting souls
00:55:34from the people
00:55:35he's voted off
00:55:36this Samoan beach.
00:55:38I've been eaten up
00:55:40by paranoia
00:55:40that Faith and Keeley
00:55:42are going to turn on me.
00:55:43Yeah, I could convince myself
00:55:44to vote you off.
00:55:45If you get to the end,
00:55:47yeah, you win over me.
00:55:48You'll still be friends
00:55:49about a block.
00:55:53Faith.
00:55:57You should have read it to him.
00:55:59That's it.
00:56:01You should have probably lied
00:56:02and told me you'd take it to the end.
00:56:11Mark,
00:56:11in your first season,
00:56:13you were the diplomat.
00:56:14Your alliance
00:56:14was the invisible hand.
00:56:16This time,
00:56:17you kind of ruled
00:56:17with an iron fist.
00:56:19Was this the cutthroat game
00:56:20that you set out to play?
00:56:21Yeah, absolutely.
00:56:23There was no way
00:56:24I could play
00:56:25an invisible hand game
00:56:26this time around.
00:56:28I was out there
00:56:29with my girl Brooke
00:56:30and a bunch
00:56:32of really good newbies
00:56:33and I decided to really
00:56:35be a really cutthroat player
00:56:37and I wasn't afraid
00:56:38of making moves.
00:56:40I knew that my chances
00:56:41of winning the game were low
00:56:42so just go out there,
00:56:44have fun.
00:56:44And I know that
00:56:45these other newbies,
00:56:46if they get another chance,
00:56:48they'll do the same thing
00:56:49and I can't wait
00:56:49to see them do it.
00:56:50100%.
00:56:53Richard,
00:56:55you were on the receiving end
00:56:56of a brutal blindside
00:56:58from Mark.
00:56:58I mean,
00:56:59it looked like
00:57:00you didn't realise
00:57:01he'd betrayed you
00:57:02until the very last vote.
00:57:03Was that the case?
00:57:04Yeah,
00:57:04that vote didn't make sense
00:57:06to me.
00:57:07You know,
00:57:07I think Mark
00:57:08really kind of
00:57:09set himself up there
00:57:10for a challenging
00:57:11next tribal council.
00:57:13But what Mark
00:57:15didn't realise
00:57:15was that
00:57:16those ghosts
00:57:17that he was talking
00:57:18to at night,
00:57:18they were coming round
00:57:19to us and also telling us
00:57:21vote Mark out.
00:57:24Well,
00:57:25Johnson,
00:57:25you clocked Mark
00:57:26pretty early
00:57:27as a master manipulator
00:57:28and you paid the price.
00:57:30Why do you think
00:57:31people allowed him
00:57:32to hold so much power
00:57:33in the tribe?
00:57:35Mark's eyes
00:57:36are fierce
00:57:37and when he looks
00:57:38into your soul,
00:57:41it transcends
00:57:42the universe.
00:57:44It is scary
00:57:45when you look
00:57:45into the man's soul.
00:57:47Well,
00:57:48they might have been
00:57:48the sister wives
00:57:49of the head office,
00:57:50but this duo
00:57:51were a deadly force
00:57:52all of their own.
00:57:54It's Faith
00:57:55and Keely.
00:57:59Who runs the world?
00:58:01Us.
00:58:03Faith and I
00:58:04are basically
00:58:05the sister wives
00:58:06to Mark.
00:58:07He's very possessive.
00:58:08Oh, thank you.
00:58:10They're very,
00:58:11very close.
00:58:12We need to think
00:58:13about who's next.
00:58:14I mean,
00:58:15I'm thinking
00:58:15it is...
00:58:18I want his pants.
00:58:21I love being in control.
00:58:23I think this is great.
00:58:26Faith.
00:58:30Shocked.
00:58:32Really, really shocked.
00:58:33Crazy.
00:58:35That was a...
00:58:35Like, totally mind-bought.
00:58:37I'm not disappointed.
00:58:39I'm not angry.
00:58:41If anything,
00:58:42I'm thinking,
00:58:43how do I now
00:58:44one-up Mark?
00:58:49I identify
00:58:50as an idol holder.
00:58:55Keely, to me,
00:58:57is the most dangerous
00:58:57player in this game.
00:58:59And I'm seriously
00:59:00scared of that woman.
00:59:01There's no idol.
00:59:02because she's a killer,
00:59:04that girl.
00:59:04Keely, Keely.
00:59:08I have a really
00:59:10good-looking face,
00:59:11and I have a real idol.
00:59:15We're going to go
00:59:16commit some survivor crime.
00:59:22Oh, my God.
00:59:25What do you think?
00:59:31I don't think I've ever seen
00:59:33anyone turn the well
00:59:34into an idol workshop before.
00:59:36Now you have.
00:59:38I mean, the well is the perfect place
00:59:39for arts and crafts.
00:59:41Lots of things you can do down there.
00:59:43Now, when you first applied
00:59:44to play this game,
00:59:45did you think you'd be out there
00:59:46winning immunity challenges
00:59:47and committing survivor crimes?
00:59:48Um, the survivor crimes?
00:59:50Yes.
00:59:51But immunity challenges?
00:59:52Absolutely not.
00:59:53That was a real shock.
00:59:55Faith,
00:59:56you and Keely
00:59:57seemed like kindred spirits
00:59:58out there.
00:59:59Yeah.
00:59:59What do you think
01:00:00made you two
01:00:01such a strong duo?
01:00:02We loved the game,
01:00:04and I think that
01:00:05even though Keely
01:00:06didn't necessarily
01:00:07know Survivor,
01:00:08she wanted to learn.
01:00:09We spoke a lot about stuff,
01:00:10and then having Mark
01:00:12together in that three.
01:00:14Um, I don't know.
01:00:15We just had a lot of fun.
01:00:16Yeah, you really did.
01:00:18Faith, you were in
01:00:18such a strong position
01:00:20until you told Mark
01:00:21that you wouldn't
01:00:22let him get to the end.
01:00:23Do you regret
01:00:24that decision now?
01:00:26Um, look,
01:00:27I don't have regrets.
01:00:29I think that I played
01:00:30a very,
01:00:31I played an honest game,
01:00:32and I think that was also
01:00:34very much mine
01:00:35and Mark's relationship.
01:00:36I was honest with him
01:00:37about a lot of things.
01:00:38Um, and I'm really proud
01:00:39that my closest
01:00:41Alliance member
01:00:42took me out,
01:00:43that, um,
01:00:44with an epic blindside
01:00:45that was very on brand
01:00:47for me,
01:00:47even to the last moments
01:00:48I was telling people
01:00:49what to do,
01:00:50um, which I loved.
01:00:51And so, yeah,
01:00:52I was really proud
01:00:53of my game.
01:00:53I don't think it's
01:00:54a good path
01:00:55having regrets in Survivor.
01:00:56I think you just,
01:00:58yeah, be proud
01:00:58of what you did,
01:00:59and I am.
01:01:01All right,
01:01:01coming up next,
01:01:02it's a game of lies,
01:01:04secrets,
01:01:04and Brooke's
01:01:05big, beautiful bluff.
01:01:07The Survivor reunion
01:01:08continues.
01:01:09After the break.
01:01:16Brooke,
01:01:17you'll be bluffing.
01:01:18Yeah!
01:01:19Hello,
01:01:20hello, darling.
01:01:22Sally will be guessing
01:01:23for bounty.
01:01:25Brooke,
01:01:26take a peek.
01:01:34Oh, my gosh,
01:01:35your face.
01:01:36I think it could be
01:01:38something from home.
01:01:40Something from home?
01:01:41Maybe.
01:01:42but I don't know
01:01:43if I want it or not.
01:01:45Something from home,
01:01:45like a letter?
01:01:47Like a,
01:01:47it's just something
01:01:48in there that says
01:01:49from home.
01:01:52Do you want that?
01:01:56I don't know if I should
01:01:57or not,
01:01:57but,
01:01:58oh, no,
01:01:59this is emotional,
01:02:00this one.
01:02:03You want it?
01:02:04I think I want it.
01:02:05I think I need it.
01:02:06You need it?
01:02:07Sally,
01:02:07what's going through
01:02:08your head right now?
01:02:10I can't help
01:02:11but to play this game
01:02:12with my heart.
01:02:14So,
01:02:16I'm just going to
01:02:17take the risk
01:02:17and hope that it's
01:02:18something from home.
01:02:19And if it's not
01:02:20and you've played me,
01:02:22then even better.
01:02:24Reveal.
01:02:27Oh, my God!
01:02:29Okay.
01:02:29A slice of life.
01:02:33I'm so sorry.
01:02:37Brooke,
01:02:38what have you got?
01:02:40Oh,
01:02:41lemon rank high!
01:02:44That is how it's done.
01:02:49Welcome back
01:02:50to the Survivor reunion.
01:02:52Brooke,
01:02:53that bluff was brutal.
01:02:54I loved it.
01:02:56I absolutely loved it.
01:02:57But when did you
01:02:58decide to do that?
01:02:59I had the idea
01:03:00before I got called
01:03:01to stand up,
01:03:02but it was just
01:03:03even more perfect
01:03:04that it was Sal
01:03:05because she's the most
01:03:06kindest,
01:03:06beautiful soul
01:03:07and it made me
01:03:08look so much
01:03:09more savage
01:03:10but it also
01:03:11won me the lemon pie
01:03:12that I was so
01:03:13desperate for
01:03:13because your girl
01:03:14was hungry.
01:03:15Have you seen me?
01:03:16I needed food.
01:03:19Cameron,
01:03:19you had so many
01:03:20opportunities
01:03:21to work
01:03:22to work
01:03:22to work with Brooke.
01:03:23Why didn't you?
01:03:24The thing about Brooke
01:03:25is I couldn't trust
01:03:26anything that she said.
01:03:28Every time she spoke
01:03:29to me she started laughing
01:03:30so I didn't know
01:03:30if it's because I was
01:03:32saying something funny
01:03:32or she was lying to me.
01:03:34You're a pretty funny guy.
01:03:35He's smiling the whole time
01:03:37like a Cheshire cat.
01:03:38I'm like,
01:03:39well, what is he thinking?
01:03:41I'm sorry, Brooke.
01:03:42Come on.
01:03:42You did better than me.
01:03:43We could have done
01:03:44something fun.
01:03:45Yeah, we could have.
01:03:45Next season.
01:03:46Malaysia, I heard.
01:03:49Well, Cameron,
01:03:50you were great
01:03:50at having a chat
01:03:51out there.
01:03:52Is that something
01:03:53that gets you
01:03:53in trouble in life?
01:03:55Come on, man.
01:03:55You run your mouth,
01:03:56you run out of luck
01:03:57and my mouth
01:03:58did a marathon.
01:04:00Yeah, I've definitely
01:04:01got myself in some trouble
01:04:02and I've definitely
01:04:03had a book war.
01:04:04Well, Survivor
01:04:05is a game of deceit
01:04:06but keeping your lies
01:04:08straight isn't always easy.
01:04:11Daniel.
01:04:15Thank you, Daniel.
01:04:18Thank you, Daniel.
01:04:29Daniel, you're a huge
01:04:31fan of the game.
01:04:33Yes, I am.
01:04:34You finally made it
01:04:34onto the beach.
01:04:35Dream come true.
01:04:36Absolutely.
01:04:37Did you ever imagine
01:04:39that you'd be voted out
01:04:40because you kept
01:04:41mixing up everyone's names?
01:04:43Sadly, it's on brand
01:04:45for me to be a fan of names
01:04:46so none of my friends
01:04:47were surprised
01:04:47but, oh, it was like
01:04:49worst case scenario.
01:04:50I can't believe it.
01:04:52Well, Simon,
01:04:54you seem to be
01:04:55practicing the art
01:04:56of many, many,
01:04:57many deals
01:04:58out there.
01:05:00What were you
01:05:01going to do
01:05:01if you had to admit
01:05:03that you couldn't
01:05:04draw two rocks?
01:05:05Oh.
01:05:06Yeah, good question.
01:05:07Look, I think
01:05:07the plan was to do
01:05:09something that I'm
01:05:10very fond of
01:05:11and very good at
01:05:12and put on the
01:05:12Simon dumb face.
01:05:13I don't have to try
01:05:14too hard there sometimes
01:05:15but, um, yeah, I'm glad
01:05:17it never got to that point.
01:05:18Yeah, me too.
01:05:19Yeah.
01:05:21Well, speaking of rocks,
01:05:24Australian Survivor
01:05:25has never had a tribal council
01:05:27that went to rocks.
01:05:28The final eight,
01:05:30you guys got very,
01:05:31very close.
01:05:33Rook.
01:05:34Eh.
01:05:34Sorry, everyone.
01:05:35You broke the deadlock
01:05:36by voting for Simon.
01:05:37Oh, I needed to get the guy out.
01:05:39There was no way
01:05:40that I could get to the end
01:05:41without winning the challenges
01:05:43every single time
01:05:44but I didn't know
01:05:45Keeley was going to whip out
01:05:46all these secret immunity wins
01:05:47so I had to get him.
01:05:49Well, rocks have been threatened
01:05:51again and again and again
01:05:53but it's never happened.
01:05:56I think maybe it's time
01:05:58to ask the Survivor gods
01:05:59Oh, no.
01:06:01if it's ever going to happen
01:06:03by going to rocks.
01:06:05How good.
01:06:07Rook, you want to come
01:06:08help me out?
01:06:14All right, you know the drill.
01:06:16Take a rock,
01:06:17don't look at it.
01:06:17Get this little bag open.
01:06:19Please prove that getting Simon
01:06:20out was the right decision.
01:06:21Take two, take two.
01:06:23You're not allowed.
01:06:24Don't show it yet.
01:06:25Don't show it yet.
01:06:27All right.
01:06:27If it's a black rock,
01:06:29we are never going to rocks
01:06:31in Australian Survivor ever again.
01:06:33If it's a white rock,
01:06:34we're going to go to rocks
01:06:35next season.
01:06:38Let's see what the Survivor gods want.
01:06:39If it's a red rock,
01:06:40I get Caleb's 500k.
01:06:42Deal.
01:06:43Deal.
01:06:43All right.
01:06:44Ready?
01:06:44All right, book.
01:06:45Reveal.
01:06:50That's a lot of pressure
01:06:51for the new car.
01:06:52Yay!
01:06:53Thank God!
01:06:53Thank God!
01:06:56I mean, it must be
01:06:57a hell of a season coming up.
01:06:59All right, coming up,
01:07:00we talk ride or dies
01:07:01that crashed and burned
01:07:02legendary moves
01:07:04and a hat
01:07:05made of ten beavers.
01:07:08Survivor reunion continues
01:07:10right after the break.
01:07:11Can't go anywhere.
01:07:21Welcome back to the Survivor reunion.
01:07:25Here's the shelter whisperer,
01:07:27the man in the hat
01:07:28made of ten beavers
01:07:29and the secret brother
01:07:31of the godfather himself,
01:07:33Matt Rogers.
01:07:34It's Don Roberts.
01:07:35Rogers.
01:07:36Rogers.
01:07:37Roberts.
01:07:39Tom, what was the highlight
01:07:40of your game,
01:07:41building the shelter
01:07:42or building your alliances?
01:07:43The highlight of my game,
01:07:44looking at it now,
01:07:45is I'm so proud
01:07:46that one of my
01:07:47original corn chip cartel
01:07:49took the victory.
01:07:50So, from the get-go.
01:07:55You know, Mark was great out there.
01:07:57I also have the unfortunate
01:07:59title of being
01:08:00Killer Keely's
01:08:01first ever blindside.
01:08:02She has reminded me
01:08:04that, you know,
01:08:05she'll always remember her first.
01:08:06So, hats off to you, Keely.
01:08:11Don took charge of the shelter,
01:08:13but this pair
01:08:14took charge of their tribe.
01:08:16Let's take a look
01:08:17at the rise and fall
01:08:18of Asha and Lottie.
01:08:25Oh, she's running crazy.
01:08:27That girl,
01:08:27she's, her head
01:08:28is ten steps ahead.
01:08:29I absolutely
01:08:30want to take out Rook.
01:08:33She's a massive threat.
01:08:34This is also her
01:08:34third time playing.
01:08:35Yep.
01:08:36She's got to go.
01:08:37Each time you drop
01:08:38that ball,
01:08:39you have to start again.
01:08:43Oh!
01:08:44Sorry, sorry.
01:08:48You're trying to throw up.
01:08:49I was happy to throw a challenge
01:08:51because I want Rook
01:08:52packing her bags
01:08:53and boot scooting out of here.
01:08:54We need to go to trouble tonight.
01:08:57In fact,
01:08:57bring it on.
01:08:58Everyone's in position.
01:09:00And now,
01:09:03this is Blanche's idol.
01:09:06Well,
01:09:07technically,
01:09:08it's mine right now.
01:09:09I just found that.
01:09:10I want to kiss you.
01:09:12I want to kiss you.
01:09:15Do you reckon it's an advantage
01:09:17or a disadvantage
01:09:18being a second-timer?
01:09:20I reckon they'll have a target
01:09:21like that.
01:09:21Yeah.
01:09:22Returning players are
01:09:23absolutely dangerous
01:09:25and we don't need both.
01:09:28Lottie,
01:09:29I think she's in charge
01:09:31of a lot of stuff.
01:09:33I want to blindside Lottie
01:09:35so badly.
01:09:37I want Paula tonight.
01:09:38I want Paula tonight.
01:09:40If we can cut Paula,
01:09:42Harry becomes
01:09:43very, very weak.
01:09:46Paula.
01:09:50Harry.
01:09:51You two.
01:09:53You guys are so good
01:09:54at this game.
01:09:58Lottie's very sad.
01:10:00She would essentially
01:10:01be the leader
01:10:02of the resistance
01:10:03in my opinion.
01:10:04Yeah,
01:10:04100%.
01:10:05That's what I'm most worried about.
01:10:07I don't underestimate
01:10:08Lottie for a second.
01:10:11Lottie,
01:10:12the tribe has spoken.
01:10:13Yes,
01:10:14they have.
01:10:24Asha,
01:10:25it seemed like
01:10:26the bigger and bolder
01:10:27you played,
01:10:28the more fun you had,
01:10:28right?
01:10:29Yeah.
01:10:30I have zero patience
01:10:31for anything in life
01:10:32so I was like,
01:10:33let's go!
01:10:34As soon as I got there,
01:10:36I was like,
01:10:36let's play,
01:10:37let's do it.
01:10:37I'm excited.
01:10:38This is a once-in-a-life
01:10:39lifetime opportunity
01:10:40so I just went for it.
01:10:42Lottie,
01:10:43what was it like
01:10:44working with the returnees?
01:10:45First,
01:10:46Harry and then Simon.
01:10:48It was never
01:10:49actually in my game plan
01:10:50at all
01:10:50but when I laid eyes
01:10:52on that first challenge,
01:10:54I knew that I needed
01:10:55at least one of them
01:10:56to pull me through
01:10:57and hats off to Simon.
01:10:59He skull-dragged me
01:11:01through
01:11:02every single one
01:11:03of those challenges
01:11:04and I would have been
01:11:05long gone
01:11:06before I went
01:11:07if it wasn't
01:11:08for these boys
01:11:08so I am very grateful
01:11:10for that.
01:11:11You were fine, mate.
01:11:11You were good.
01:11:12You were good.
01:11:13Roll the tapes
01:11:13and you were good.
01:11:16Harry,
01:11:17it seemed like
01:11:18you picked Lottie
01:11:19as a threat
01:11:20from day one.
01:11:21What did you see
01:11:21in her
01:11:22that others didn't?
01:11:24I think it was just
01:11:26her vision of the game.
01:11:27Just straight away
01:11:28she could see
01:11:29where everyone sat
01:11:30in the tribe.
01:11:31Not only that,
01:11:32she had the right allies
01:11:33with her
01:11:33to compliment her.
01:11:35Blanche.
01:11:36Yes.
01:11:37Yes, Dave.
01:11:37As soon as you linked up
01:11:39with Asha
01:11:39at Tribe Swap,
01:11:40you just lit up.
01:11:41Did it feel like
01:11:42you'd found
01:11:43your home
01:11:43in the game
01:11:44with her?
01:11:44Absolutely.
01:11:45We were two little
01:11:46peas in a pod.
01:11:47Our personalities
01:11:48were just
01:11:48a match made in heaven.
01:11:50I fell in love.
01:11:52Instant love.
01:11:53Love it.
01:11:55Asha.
01:11:55Yeah?
01:11:56Your torch
01:11:57has just been snuffed.
01:11:58Yep.
01:11:58You've realised,
01:12:00you know,
01:12:00you still have
01:12:01Blanche's idol
01:12:03in your bag.
01:12:04Yeah.
01:12:04What were you thinking?
01:12:05It was a doozy.
01:12:06It was a genuine mistake.
01:12:07Like, I didn't
01:12:08just steal it.
01:12:10Otherwise,
01:12:10I would have used it
01:12:11for myself.
01:12:13Well, speaking of idols,
01:12:14let's talk about
01:12:15the half idol.
01:12:16No, let's not.
01:12:19Sally, you managed
01:12:20to get your hands
01:12:21on both half idols
01:12:23and then you didn't
01:12:24play it for Keely.
01:12:25Why?
01:12:26Um, because
01:12:28Keely was the best
01:12:29player out there.
01:12:31Why would I save Keely?
01:12:33I'm so sorry,
01:12:33but why would I save
01:12:34the best player out there?
01:12:35I've spent every day
01:12:36with this woman on the beach.
01:12:37I've seen what she is
01:12:38capable of.
01:12:39Not only
01:12:40did she outplay
01:12:41everyone out there,
01:12:42she scared the shit
01:12:42out of me.
01:12:44I was like,
01:12:45she has to go.
01:12:46As a Survivor fan,
01:12:47I'm not going to let
01:12:48a whole idol
01:12:49or a half idol
01:12:50slip through my fingers.
01:12:51Especially top five,
01:12:52I was going down
01:12:53guns blazing
01:12:53and that's what I did.
01:12:54Woo!
01:12:55Well, that's the crazy
01:12:56thing about Survivor.
01:12:57You could be playing
01:12:58a great game,
01:12:59but make one mistake,
01:13:01get unlucky
01:13:02or just,
01:13:03you know,
01:13:04keep someone up at night
01:13:05and then you're toast.
01:13:08Eliza,
01:13:09did you ever imagine
01:13:11your torch would be snuffed
01:13:13because you kept
01:13:13Lyndal awake at night?
01:13:16When you come into
01:13:17a game like Survivor,
01:13:18you run many,
01:13:19many scenarios
01:13:20through your head
01:13:21and that is my responsibility.
01:13:23I did not see that coming
01:13:25and I got gut.
01:13:27Lyndal,
01:13:28do people underestimate
01:13:29the value
01:13:29of good sleep
01:13:30in this game?
01:13:31Yes!
01:13:31I may do!
01:13:34Look,
01:13:34I was hallucinating
01:13:35by night three,
01:13:36but she also told me
01:13:37it was going to be
01:13:38Loz, myself
01:13:39or her
01:13:39and my DeLulu brain
01:13:42was like,
01:13:42right,
01:13:42all votes to Eliza,
01:13:44I'm safe for another night.
01:13:45She was telling you
01:13:46the truth!
01:13:49Up next,
01:13:50it was the heist
01:13:50of the season
01:13:51and they pulled it off
01:13:52with the greatest forgery
01:13:54in Survivor history.
01:14:04I'm not in control
01:14:05of this tribe
01:14:06and I hate it!
01:14:08Oh my God.
01:14:09I need to be subservient.
01:14:10Us three?
01:14:12I like this.
01:14:13I like this a lot.
01:14:14I want us to be
01:14:15the triangle offence.
01:14:1796 balls.
01:14:18Yes.
01:14:18Yeah, the triangle offence.
01:14:19That's how they...
01:14:20When we've got him
01:14:21on the ropes like this,
01:14:22he can't...
01:14:25He can't dodge
01:14:26in the corner
01:14:26like Muhammad Ali can.
01:14:28He has to be hit.
01:14:30And the best part
01:14:31about my plan...
01:14:32Nobody can stop me.
01:14:36Mark,
01:14:37he has to go.
01:14:39We have to finish off
01:14:39what we started.
01:14:40I love that.
01:14:41Ah!
01:14:43Resistance!
01:14:46First member
01:14:47of our jury,
01:14:49Mark.
01:14:50Oh!
01:14:51Come close.
01:14:58What's your biggest blind spot?
01:15:06I don't know.
01:15:07It's probably right
01:15:07in front of your face.
01:15:10Yeah,
01:15:10it probably is him.
01:15:11No.
01:15:12Yeah.
01:15:15The 16th person
01:15:17voted out of
01:15:17Australian Survivor Redemption
01:15:19and the third member
01:15:20of our jury,
01:15:22Ben.
01:15:23What?
01:15:25Oh, oh, oh.
01:15:26Thanks, man.
01:15:40Ben,
01:15:41you're built
01:15:42to resistance,
01:15:43you've finally
01:15:43got the upper hand
01:15:44and then Jackson
01:15:46blindsides you.
01:15:46How did it feel
01:15:47to be booted
01:15:47by your best mate?
01:15:49OK,
01:15:49so here's the thing,
01:15:50Dave,
01:15:50we're in the jungle.
01:15:51Dave-O gets a stain
01:15:52in his pants,
01:15:53right?
01:15:54Mark was there
01:15:54at the start,
01:15:55the stain was in the pants,
01:15:56I'm trying to wash it,
01:15:57I can't get it out,
01:15:58right?
01:15:59I take it to my mum,
01:16:00she washes it,
01:16:01she can't get it out,
01:16:01right?
01:16:02And...
01:16:03Was Jackson
01:16:04your mum
01:16:04in that analogy?
01:16:11Me and Jackson,
01:16:12my boy,
01:16:13he is my,
01:16:14he's my twin flame,
01:16:15this bloke.
01:16:15So we're out there
01:16:16running the tribe,
01:16:17we didn't even communicate
01:16:18what we were talking about,
01:16:19we were just out there
01:16:19bouncing ideas off each other
01:16:21when we were talking to people.
01:16:22We didn't even,
01:16:22see?
01:16:23See what he did there?
01:16:24And I was like,
01:16:25my game was like,
01:16:25I'm going to stand by,
01:16:26you,
01:16:26my boy,
01:16:27I'm taking you to the end.
01:16:28He's really laying it on thick,
01:16:29Jackson,
01:16:30I mean,
01:16:31how did it feel
01:16:32to vote you made out?
01:16:32It was the worst thing
01:16:33I've ever done,
01:16:34man,
01:16:34it sucked.
01:16:36Well,
01:16:37I was going to say,
01:16:37now that it's all said and done,
01:16:38would you do it again?
01:16:39Would I blind time him again?
01:16:40Yeah.
01:16:43Yeah,
01:16:43I'd do it again.
01:16:47Well,
01:16:47it was a survivor heist
01:16:49for the ages.
01:16:50Brooke and Keeley
01:16:50had one real idol,
01:16:52one fake idol,
01:16:53and two people
01:16:54to get through
01:16:54tribal council.
01:16:55Let's take a look.
01:17:04Sally,
01:17:05are you concerned
01:17:05that the returnees
01:17:06might have found
01:17:07a little help out there?
01:17:08Yeah.
01:17:18I feel like
01:17:19your face dropped
01:17:20when that came out.
01:17:22I want to hate,
01:17:23but it's so exciting.
01:17:24This is what I'm here for.
01:17:28I think it's great.
01:17:30We got it.
01:17:32I've also got
01:17:33a nice
01:17:35little package
01:17:36myself.
01:17:38Two special surprises
01:17:40tonight.
01:17:41This is nuts.
01:17:42This is nuts.
01:17:43This is nuts.
01:17:44Brooke's one's got you.
01:17:46I want to split on someone else.
01:17:53Who are you playing this for?
01:17:55I'll play it for Brooke.
01:17:57Any votes cast for Brooke
01:17:59will not count.
01:18:01Brooke.
01:18:02Brooke.
01:18:03Brooke.
01:18:04Brooke.
01:18:04Does not count.
01:18:10Blanche.
01:18:14Ben.
01:18:1915th person voted out
01:18:21of Australian Survivor
01:18:22Redemption.
01:18:24Blanche.
01:18:25Oh.
01:18:25Oh, Jesus.
01:18:33I've sat through
01:18:34a lot of tribal councils
01:18:36and I've got to tell you
01:18:37that took nerves of steel.
01:18:40Jackson,
01:18:40you were the first one
01:18:41to clock
01:18:42that that idol
01:18:43might have been a fake.
01:18:45What cleared you in?
01:18:46That she was hiding it.
01:18:48Bro, Brooke's are like,
01:18:50when she wants to be,
01:18:51she's a loud player.
01:18:52If it was real,
01:18:52she'd be wearing around
01:18:53that neck
01:18:53and showing it
01:18:54in all our faces.
01:18:55She hid it in her jacket.
01:18:56Dodgy hairs.
01:18:58Dodgy hairs.
01:18:59Simon,
01:19:00there's apparently
01:19:01two idols,
01:19:02a lot of confusion,
01:19:03but you still
01:19:04flipped on your alliance
01:19:05and voted for Brooke.
01:19:06Why?
01:19:07Yeah,
01:19:07that was,
01:19:08um,
01:19:08it was a no-brainer
01:19:09for me
01:19:10because, like,
01:19:11look,
01:19:11I knew about the fake idol,
01:19:13I knew about the real idol
01:19:14and I had to play along
01:19:15with that one there
01:19:16and I had to think about
01:19:17myself waking up
01:19:18the next day
01:19:19and I was like,
01:19:19I...
01:19:20power to them,
01:19:21I hope these girls
01:19:22can get through
01:19:24and I need something
01:19:26to get me through
01:19:27on the next one
01:19:27and I needed to
01:19:28show my allegiance
01:19:29to Ben and Jackson
01:19:31and sure enough,
01:19:32like,
01:19:32throwing that vote on Brooke,
01:19:33you know,
01:19:33obviously,
01:19:34it wasn't great
01:19:34for my relationship
01:19:35with Brooke at that time,
01:19:36but it saved us
01:19:37on the next one
01:19:37and opened the door
01:19:38for the,
01:19:39uh,
01:19:40for Jackson
01:19:40to come and flip over.
01:19:41So, like,
01:19:42that didn't happen
01:19:43without throwing
01:19:43that vote on Brooke.
01:19:46Well,
01:19:46Chilly,
01:19:47everyone's voted,
01:19:48you play your real idol
01:19:49for Brooke,
01:19:50but if you're wrong,
01:19:51you'd go home.
01:19:52How sure were you
01:19:54that you'd made
01:19:54the right call?
01:19:55Um,
01:19:56I was,
01:19:58look,
01:19:58I was pretty confident
01:19:59that I had made
01:20:00the right call.
01:20:01I got to know
01:20:01these guys pretty well
01:20:03and their voting patterns
01:20:04and they were
01:20:05so passionate
01:20:06about getting out
01:20:07their attorneys.
01:20:07They wanted to write
01:20:08their name down
01:20:10and put it in the urn.
01:20:11So,
01:20:11I was,
01:20:12I was worried.
01:20:13I thought maybe
01:20:14one or two Keeley votes
01:20:15in that urn
01:20:16and it paid off.
01:20:18Yeah,
01:20:19it really did.
01:20:19Yeah,
01:20:19big risk,
01:20:20big reward.
01:20:22Thanks,
01:20:23Keele.
01:20:23Well,
01:20:23you're welcome.
01:20:25Alright,
01:20:25after the break,
01:20:26the game is about
01:20:28to get very personal
01:20:29right here
01:20:30on the Survivor Reunion.
01:20:31Don't go anywhere.
01:20:41For the first time,
01:20:43all 24 of you
01:20:44are entering the game
01:20:45with a personal mission.
01:20:48Welcome
01:20:48to Australian Survivor
01:20:51Redemption.
01:20:58I thought my redemption
01:20:59in this game
01:21:00was going to be
01:21:00like playing an idol
01:21:01correctly.
01:21:02I just realised
01:21:03my redemption
01:21:04was playing this game
01:21:05well.
01:21:05100 days for Simon,
01:21:07100 days for Simon,
01:21:09100 days for Simon.
01:21:10This Simon 3.0
01:21:12is the player
01:21:12I wish
01:21:13that Simon 1.0
01:21:15and 2.0
01:21:15could have been.
01:21:17Asha.
01:21:18I told you
01:21:19I didn't want
01:21:19to throw that challenge.
01:21:20Oh!
01:21:21I proved to myself
01:21:22that I actually
01:21:23can play this game
01:21:24and can pull
01:21:25a big move
01:21:27without stepping on a rake
01:21:29and smacking myself
01:21:30in the face.
01:21:31How good.
01:21:32Don't give me,
01:21:33I'm not ready for something.
01:21:34Jackson George.
01:21:35Oh!
01:21:37Wow.
01:21:38So proud of you.
01:21:40To see her
01:21:42tell me
01:21:43that she's proud
01:21:44of the things
01:21:45that I've done.
01:21:45You are
01:21:47a very
01:21:48inspirational person.
01:21:51Something that
01:21:52I've wanted
01:21:53my entire life.
01:21:58I'm not going to
01:21:59ask that you're
01:21:59a big target.
01:22:00You know
01:22:00where it bands
01:22:01people together
01:22:01is a bit of a leader.
01:22:05To be honest
01:22:06I put this
01:22:08brave face on
01:22:09and pretend
01:22:09I'm this big
01:22:10strong
01:22:10funny
01:22:12personality
01:22:12but
01:22:13underneath
01:22:14I'm my biggest
01:22:16critic
01:22:16but right now
01:22:18this is the proudest
01:22:19I've ever been
01:22:20to myself.
01:22:22Brooke!
01:22:23Brooke!
01:22:23That's it.
01:22:24Brooke!
01:22:24With individual immunity!
01:22:27I was wanting
01:22:28to prove to myself
01:22:29that
01:22:29I'm still the same
01:22:3123 year old
01:22:32me
01:22:33and I'm still
01:22:34just as strong
01:22:34and resilient
01:22:35and crazy
01:22:36I'm just a mum
01:22:38now
01:22:38and I definitely
01:22:40prove that to myself.
01:22:42So
01:22:43I do feel
01:22:45redeemed.

01:22:57This season
01:22:58was all
01:22:59about redemption.
01:23:00That meant
01:23:01that everyone
01:23:02walked onto the beach
01:23:03with something
01:23:04very personal
01:23:05driving their game.
01:23:07Caleb
01:23:08you stood on that mat

01:23:10and said you were
01:23:11playing for young
01:23:11Caleb.
01:23:12What do you think
01:23:13your journey in this game
01:23:14could teach young Caleb
01:23:15about himself now?

01:23:24and I feel like that's
01:23:25when I make a lot
01:23:26of mistakes
01:23:27and I should trust
01:23:29myself more
01:23:30trust others more
01:23:31because when I start
