The Skopelos Foundation for the Arts is located on the beautiful island of Skopelos in the Northern Sporades. The Director, Gloria Carr, had a vision in 1996 to create a place where artists can work and be inspired by Hellenic culture and history. The studio has state of the art equipment for printmaking, screen-printing and ceramics. The ceramics area is an open space for artists to be inspired by the view of the Aegean Sea and Alonnisos, a neighboring island. It has an electric and wood firing kiln on site. The Foundation offers residencies, university programs and workshops
