00:00:17Welcome friends, grab your comfiest blanket and get cozy because I have a wonderful story
00:00:25for you. It's about a little old lady with a big old mouth. Join me on this read aloud. It
00:00:34goes like
00:00:34this. There was an old lady who swallowed a fly. I don't know why she swallowed that fly. Perhaps
00:00:47she'll die. Ozzy, why are you sitting so close to the TV? What are you working on? What do you
00:01:11think of my
00:01:11mask? Kind of creepy, but cool. Can I hold the camera? No, every time I let you hold the camera,
00:01:37you end up dropping it. These things are too expensive. I won't drop it this time. Please,
00:01:44Dad. No, I'm sorry. It's time for bed anyway. Go brush your teeth. This is dumb.
00:01:52Where's Mommy? She'll be home later. She's taking care of some things. I want Grandma. Grandma's not
00:02:00here either, baby, but I'm here with you, okay? Hello? Hey. Who are you? Still at the station. I'll probably
00:02:29be
00:02:29here a while longer. You find your mom? Not yet. They're still searching. Okay.
00:02:39I hate this. Yeah, me too. I'll keep you updated. Tell Ozzy I said goodnight and I love her.
00:02:49I'll let her know. I love you, Vic. Love you too, Darren.
00:02:55I love you, Darren.
00:03:3510, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 10, 2, 1, ready or not, here I come.
00:05:19Come on.
00:05:21Come on.
00:05:23Come on.
00:05:24Come on.
00:05:57Come on.
00:06:02Come on.
00:06:03I've been here, Grandma.
00:06:07I know you're in there.
00:06:12Can you come out?
00:06:25Found you, Grandma.
00:06:27Hey, that's my mask.
00:06:29Give it back.
00:06:33Can you please check off the mask, Grandma?
00:06:36I don't like it when you're wearing.
00:06:46Okay.
00:06:47Okay.
00:06:48Now it's needed to hide me.
00:06:52Yeah.
00:06:54I've covered.
00:06:54I don't know.
00:06:55I don't know.
00:06:58I just don't know.
00:07:02I just don't know.
00:07:05I need you to go.
00:07:37She swallowed the dog to catch the cat. She swallowed the cat to catch the bird. She swallowed the bird
00:07:45to catch the spider that wiggled and jiggled.
00:07:48There was an old lady who swallowed a horse. She's dead, of course.
00:08:18We grow accustomed to the dark when the light is put away. It's when the neighbor holds the lamp to
00:08:26witness her goodbye. A moment.
00:08:30We, uncertain step for newness of the night, then fit our vision to the dark and meet the road erect
00:08:40and so of larger darknesses.
00:08:44Those evenings of the brain, when not a moon disclose a sign or a star, come out within the bravest,
00:08:58rope a little, and sometimes hit a tree directly in the forehead.
00:09:04But as they learn to see, either the darkness alters or something in the sight adjusts itself to midnight. And
00:09:15life steps almost straight.
00:09:21The courage to push through hardship. I like it.
00:09:27Yeah, I feel like Emily Dickinson speaks to me on such a deep level.
00:09:31The power that art can have.
00:09:34You know, thank you for sharing, Ozzy.
00:09:37Yeah, of course.
00:09:41So, how about journaling? Have you gave it a go?
00:09:45Yeah, I actually started these kind of, like, video diaries.
00:09:51I feel that seeing and hearing myself express my own thoughts is helpful.
00:09:58I also think it's important to put my story somewhere.
00:10:01I have a record of the truth of who I am.
00:10:05Absolutely. I'm just so glad that you are taking these steps.
00:10:09I admire your bravery.
00:10:12It's a long road.
00:10:14But you are on the right path.
00:10:17There's still a lot to learn about myself and my own history.
00:10:22I need to fill in those blanks.
00:10:49The books speak to us.
00:10:52They have the power to take us on journeys outside of our own.
00:10:56They can teach us how to live, how to take care of ourselves and the world around us.
00:11:03Inside every book is a soul, a voice wanting to be heard.
00:11:09My grandma, she said she used to hear some of them loud and clear.
00:11:17She meant that literally.
00:11:19She claimed that they told her to do things, bad things.
00:11:29And she did them.
00:11:31Can we talk about what happened tonight?
00:11:38Yes.
00:11:42A clergyman we spoke to.
00:11:44He told us that he saw you hanging behind the church before the fire.
00:11:50Did you happen to see what or who started it?
00:11:58No.
00:12:00There wasn't a slow progression of mental illness.
00:12:04It was an overnight thing.
00:12:08And I don't know what changed, but that wasn't the grandma I remembered.
00:12:15Dorothy Bell was a gentle soul.
00:12:18The heart of our family.
00:12:21The town's favorite librarian.
00:12:25She's where I got my love for reading.
00:12:28Most of the memories I have of her faint.
00:12:32I don't know which ones are real or which ones I dreamt.
00:12:35The mind has this defense mechanism.
00:12:39It can suppress traumatic memories.
00:12:42They aren't removed.
00:12:43They're just locked in a compartment.
00:12:47And the keys thrown out into the world to one day be discovered again.
00:12:51Growing up, I used to believe that it was the car accident that left me scarred.
00:12:55It's what my parents had told me.
00:12:59I first came across a story on a paranormal blog titled,
00:13:04Urban Legends of Spellbound.
00:13:06My hometown, where it all happened.
00:13:09Dorothy Bell, a witch librarian of Edwards Library.
00:13:13Said to still roam the halls.
00:13:15They say if you shout her name, then listen closely.
00:13:19Sometimes you can hear it whisper back.
00:13:23There's this picture being shared online.
00:13:28They claimed it captured her ghost.
00:13:35It's super blurry, but I don't know, I kind of see it.
00:13:41From there, I was able to find press articles from that year detailing the events.
00:13:47It flipped my whole world upside down.
00:13:59There was nothing stressful going on in her life that would make her lose it.
00:14:06She wasn't loony, and my grandma wasn't a witch.
00:14:11I'm back in Spellbound.
00:14:14I'm at the old house, and I'm gonna be visiting the library that she died in.
00:14:19Try to see what I can learn.
00:14:22I'll document everything I can.
00:14:59Good evening.
00:15:01Hi.
00:15:02I'm a student at Elmore College, and I'm working on a video project.
00:15:07Okay.
00:15:09I'm a relative of Dorothy Bell.
00:15:11She was a former librarian here in the 80s and 90s.
00:15:15I was wondering if you're familiar with her, if you had anything to share that I can include.
00:15:24No, I'm sorry.
00:15:26We don't know anybody here with that name.
00:15:30And we don't allow filming inside the library.
00:15:34Is there anyone else that works here that may have some information?
00:15:38No.
00:15:38I don't think so.
00:15:41I'm sorry we can't help you.
00:15:44No worries.
00:15:45I'll just take a look around.
00:15:47We're closing.
00:15:49Okay.
00:15:55Are you Victoria's kid?
00:15:57I am.
00:15:59I thought so.
00:16:00I'm George Hall.
00:16:01She was an old friend of mine.
00:16:03We used to work together at Kruger's Electronics quite some time ago.
00:16:08Now you're working for the library.
00:16:10Maintenance.
00:16:11How's your mom doing?
00:16:14Honestly, I don't know.
00:16:15We haven't talked in a while.
00:16:17But hey, maybe you can help me.
00:16:43Hi.
00:16:43Come on in.
00:16:51What do you plan on doing with this video?
00:16:54Nothing really.
00:16:54It's a personal project.
00:16:57Just want to make sure I document everything.
00:16:59I'm fine with you recording.
00:17:01Just as long as it doesn't end up on YouTube.
00:17:05I'm really not trying to lose my job.
00:17:08Yeah, it won't.
00:17:12Feel free to film whatever.
00:17:18Just don't move or break anything.
00:17:23Many of these tables have been preserved long before you and I were born.
00:17:29Are you familiar with what happened with my grandma?
00:17:33We all know about it.
00:17:35They don't like to talk about it here.
00:17:38Yeah, I got that vibe.
00:17:40You don't want to scare people away.
00:17:43Mm-hmm.
00:17:44I get that.
00:17:50Were you the one she, uh...
00:17:53Yeah.
00:17:55I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked.
00:17:58That's the banister right there.
00:18:08Yeah.
00:18:09You know, I remember her.
00:18:12I lived in this town my whole life.
00:18:15She was really a nice lady.
00:18:20I mean, it's not every day you hear of an elderly woman doing those type of things.
00:18:23You know what I mean?
00:18:25Yeah.
00:18:30What about the ghost stories?
00:18:32I've heard them.
00:18:34Honestly, I don't believe in that.
00:18:36At least I haven't experienced anything to convince me to.
00:18:47I mean, there's been times where I thought I heard voices and footsteps, but...
00:18:53I'm sure it's all in my head.
00:18:56Long shifts with little sleep will do that.
00:19:01Plus, we got a lot of homeless people hanging around the building.
00:19:06There were times when they snuck in when one of our staff forgot to lock the door, so...
00:19:11I don't know.
00:19:30I'll be working in the basement most of the night. Let me know if you need anything.
00:19:33Perfect. Thank you.
00:19:36Yeah. No problem.
00:19:42I'm sorry.
00:20:35Do you remember this?
00:20:39And the goblin retreated back into the cave dwelling, never to return to the Hogsfeet village again.
00:20:49The end.
00:20:52Well, what'd you think?
00:20:54That one was scary. I think it's going to give me nightmares.
00:21:00You want to know a trick?
00:21:02What?
00:21:03Well, whenever you read a spooky story, you read a happy one right after.
00:21:11That way you'll have sweet dreams instead of bad ones.
00:21:16Okay.
00:21:18How about this one?
00:21:23The Little Blue Balloon.
00:21:26Yeah.
00:21:33There once lived a balloon that was a little balloon.
00:21:39The Little Blue Balloon lived among a family of joyful, colorful balloons.
00:21:50Mama Purple Balloon watered her balloon carter, while Daddy Green read the Daily Balloon newspaper.
00:22:01Brother Yellow Balloon painted a picture of a pretty balloon.
00:22:06And Grandma Pink Balloon and Grandma Pink Balloon baked a tasty balloon pie.
00:22:16But the Little Blue Balloon felt alone and left out, unsure of what balloon activity to do.
00:22:39So, thank you.
00:22:40I love you.
00:22:57I'm happy to read a lot of it.
00:22:57I love you.
00:23:12You want to know a dream?
00:23:27Hello?
00:23:45Fuck!
00:23:55Gotta clock out.
00:23:57You good?
00:23:59Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can you please just give me 15 more minutes?
00:24:03That's all I need, and I'll be out of here.
00:24:05I'm sorry, I can't go into overtime.
00:24:07You gotta pack it up.
00:24:09Maybe come back some other night.
00:24:22Um...
00:24:23So in what ways do you feel like...
00:24:27your life has changed?
00:24:29Since learning of this new part of your past?
00:24:36I feel like I understand myself a little bit better.
00:24:41Like my personality.
00:24:44But on the other hand, I have a whole lot of questions.
00:24:50Like none of this really makes sense to me.
00:24:53I understand.
00:24:55It's a lot to process.
00:24:59Can you think of any of those questions you have?
00:25:05Maybe I did something wrong.
00:25:09something that you did...
00:25:12to make your grandma act out?
00:25:19Can you think of anything a five-year-old could do
00:25:24that would warrant an adult to act violently towards them?
00:25:28No.
00:25:31Neither can I.
00:25:37What about...
00:25:40new memories?
00:25:42Has anything resurfaced?
00:25:51If you're uncomfortable talking about them, it's okay?
00:25:55Uh...
00:25:56No, it's fine.
00:25:57We can move on.
00:26:00Uh...
00:26:01Some, I guess...
00:26:07Well, I've been having this...
00:26:11Green Curry nightmare of...
00:26:14her and I in this house.
00:26:18And we're sitting at the kitchen table.
00:26:21And she's making me a PB&J sandwich like she always would.
00:26:27But in this dream, instead of a butter knife...
00:26:33she's using this...
00:26:38large, sharp chef's plate to spread the ingredients.
00:26:43And she's making a mess.
00:26:48She just keeps adding more...
00:26:51and more peanut butter and jelly on the bread.
00:26:57And it's overflowing.
00:27:01And smearing...
00:27:03over her hands...
00:27:06and her clothes...
00:27:08and on the table.
00:27:11And then suddenly I'm covered in it.
00:27:13And it's all over my...
00:27:16my clothes...
00:27:18and my face.
00:27:20And...
00:27:21she's laughing hysterically.
00:27:25It's not funny, though.
00:27:32Um...
00:27:33I just have this, like, strange...
00:27:36feeling that...
00:27:40something is terribly wrong.
00:27:44and I'm not laughing with her.
00:27:58You know, I just don't understand how she can do that to me.
00:28:13This place had remained unoccupied since our family moved out.
00:28:18I think it's because of what happened here.
00:28:21Saw the ad on Craigslist for dirt cheap and...
00:28:24had to jump on it.
00:28:26I don't think the landlord knows who I am.
00:28:30I'd rather her not.
00:28:35I occasionally find these little remnants hidden in the floors and walls throughout the house.
00:28:43For each one, a new memory surfaces.
00:28:51Night one was...
00:28:54interesting.
00:28:56I'll take a screen capture so you can see what I'm looking at.
00:29:04Look at this.
00:29:23Fuck.
00:29:27See, that can't be a video artifact.
00:29:30Because it appears on both cameras.
00:29:34I'm not sure what it is.
00:29:38I'll be returning later tonight.
00:29:41And this time...
00:29:43I'll try a little harder to communicate.
00:29:47music playing.
00:29:48He's a for a wedding.
00:29:49Yeah.
00:30:13Okay.
00:30:15And this time...
00:30:15I'm gonna use the tour for your wedding.
00:30:15I bet you were going to take a minute.
00:30:35How do you explain something like that to a child?
00:30:39You don't.
00:30:40You just don't.
00:30:43Please pick up.
00:30:45Your father and I are getting worried.
00:30:47Hey Ozzy, it's Val.
00:30:49You are scheduled for 2 p.m. today.
00:30:52We're short-staffed and need some help.
00:30:54Call us back when you can.
00:30:56Ozzy, it's your mother again.
00:30:58Just wanted to call and wish you a happy birthday.
00:31:02Let me know you're okay.
00:31:04Call me back.
00:31:05Hey Ozzy, it's Val again.
00:31:08This is your third no-call, no-show.
00:31:11Technically, I should be letting you go from this position.
00:31:14I understand that life can sometimes get in the way.
00:31:17Call me back.
00:31:19You don't think it fucked me up too?
00:31:21I'm a mess.
00:31:23All I wanted was the best for you.
00:31:26I wanted you to be able to grow up and live a normal life.
00:31:31You know what?
00:31:32Fuck it.
00:31:33I'm done trying.
00:31:35Goodbye, Ozzy.
00:31:38Hi, Ozzy.
00:31:39It's your father.
00:31:40I know you're dealing with a lot.
00:31:42And I understand you aren't ready to speak to us.
00:31:46Just want to say I love you.
00:31:48And when you feel comfortable to talk, I'll be waiting.
00:31:52Bye now.
00:31:58Is he talking to you now?
00:32:08What is he saying?
00:32:14Hi.
00:32:17Hi.
00:32:21Hi.
00:32:22What was that?
00:32:29He wants me to kill you.
00:32:34He wants me to kill you.
00:33:00I'm calling out to the spirit of my grandmother, Dorothy Bell.
00:33:11Are you here right now?
00:33:14Are you here right now?
00:33:38Why did you hurt me?
00:33:42I just need to know.
00:33:58Can you please just say something?
00:34:00Anything?
00:34:02Anything?
00:34:41This is a sign.
00:34:44It has to be.
00:34:47Welcome Home by Albert Thurman.
00:34:50You want me to read to you, Grandma?
00:35:04When I was about 15 years old, we had retired to our house near Belle Reve, where we witnessed
00:35:10a most violent and terrible thunderstorm.
00:35:14It advanced from behind the mountains of Jahara, and the thunder burst at once with frightful
00:35:21loudness from various quarters of the heavens.
00:35:23I remained while the storm lasted, watching its progress with curiosity and delight.
00:35:32As I stood at the door, on a sudden I beheld a stream of fire issued from an old and
00:35:39beautiful
00:35:39oak, which stood about 20 yards from our house.
00:35:44And so, as the dazzling light vanished, the oak had disappeared, and nothing remained
00:35:52but a blasted stump.
00:35:54When we visited the next morning, we found the tree shattered in a single manner.
00:36:00It was not splintered by the shock, but entirely reduced to thin rubber bands of wood.
00:36:27The catastrophe with this tree excited my extreme astonishment.
00:36:33And I eagerly inquire of my father, and the nature, and the origin of the thunder, and lightning.
00:36:40Huh.
00:36:43That's strange.
00:36:46This paragraph's in a completely different language.
00:36:50It's like Latin.
00:36:54I don't know.
00:37:00I don't see any more of these in here.
00:37:05This being misprimed.
00:37:08Hmm.
00:37:30What the fuck was that?
00:37:33I don't know.
00:37:35It wasn't you?
00:37:37No, it came from up here.
00:38:00Who's ever in here?
00:38:01You better come out now.
00:38:02The police are on the way.
00:38:04There's no one on this floor.
00:38:06It sounded like it came from up here.
00:38:09I know, but I've been here this whole time, and I haven't seen anybody.
00:38:16All right, let's pack it up.
00:38:18I'm going to do a thorough search of the building.
00:38:21I don't think it's safe for you to be here right now.
00:38:24Okay.
00:38:26Okay.
00:38:38There is a quote by Søren Kierkegaard that I live by.
00:38:44That is, life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.
00:38:52I mean, of course, it's essential we confront our past, but not live there.
00:38:59Do you feel that's something that you can relate to?
00:39:02Yeah.
00:39:04Right now, I feel like I'm definitely living there.
00:39:07I understand.
00:39:11Do you know what compartmentalizing is?
00:39:13Sorry, my coffee.
00:39:15One second.
00:39:15Yeah, sure.
00:39:16All right.
00:39:16Okay.
00:39:25Okay.

00:40:32Okay, I lost your video, uh, I'm gonna reset my router, uh, just give you one second.
00:40:51Okay, can you hear me?
00:40:56Okay.
00:40:57Okay.
00:40:59Okay.
00:41:00Okay.
00:41:07Okay.
00:41:08Okay.
00:41:20Okay.
00:41:23Okay.
00:43:30What are you trying to tell me, Grandma?
00:43:32What are you trying to tell me?
00:44:30What are you trying to tell me?
00:44:45What's going on, everybody?
00:44:46I'm back again.
00:44:47It is the Prince of the Paranormal, and I have another spicy one for you guys.
00:44:52Since 1892, there have been a series of murders and or suicides that share unusual similarities
00:44:57and ties.
00:44:58The perpetrators of these violent crimes possessed the same exact item, a one-of-a-kind, crimson,
00:45:04leather-bound book titled, Welcome Home.
00:45:07The author, Albert Thurman, was a self-proclaimed warlock who took credit for the murders.
00:45:12Although he never committed them with his own hands, he claimed it was the book he wrote
00:45:17that caused people to commit heinous acts of violence.
00:45:21Richard Clay, 45 years old, in 1932, police arrived to his home in Cincinnati, Ohio, to a gruesome
00:45:28scene.
00:45:29His wife and two children were found in the cellar, bludgeoned to death.
00:45:34Clay was located in the attic, sitting atop a locked trunk.
00:45:37In the trunk, they found a bloody mallet and the crimson book.
00:45:42His eyeballs were found in the pockets of his overalls.
00:45:48Simon Fritz, 11 years old, from Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1952, he brutally stabbed his
00:45:54sister a total of 110 times in the woods near their home.
00:45:58The kid claimed a man crawled out of the book and chased her down.
00:46:02Viola Patrick, 34 years old, from Gary, Indiana, in 1978, she confessed to the murder of 10
00:46:08locals.
00:46:09Her entire property was a graveyard.
00:46:11The police discover 11 graves at her home, 10 of which the bodies were buried.
00:46:16The 11th contained the crimson book.
00:46:19I'll be doing a deeper dive into these later.
00:46:21Comment below on which ones you guys are most interested in hearing about, and I will get
00:46:25them to you.
00:46:26Thank you guys for watching, as always, and see you soon.
00:46:32I'm back.
00:46:45I don't know.
00:47:11I don't know.
00:47:40I don't know.
00:48:19I know you're here, Grandma.
00:48:21I don't know.
00:48:23Please talk to me.
00:48:30I hope I'm not disturbing you.
00:48:35What was that?
00:48:36Am I bothering you?
00:48:37No, you're fine.
00:48:39Am I bothering you?
00:48:40No.
00:48:41Not at all.
00:48:44I don't know.
00:48:44This is probably weird.
00:48:47A little.
00:48:48I mean, I've seen the ghost hunting show, so I know the deal.
00:48:53I can't hear you anyway, so pretend I'm not here.
00:48:56Okay.
00:49:14Grandma, is there anything that you can tell me about what happened to you?
00:49:27I won't be afraid if you communicate.
00:49:28I won't be afraid if you communicate.
00:49:49I won't be afraid if you hear me.
00:49:51What is he?
00:49:52What is he?
00:51:29Oh, there you are.
00:51:33Hello, Ozzy.
00:51:35How are you feeling?
00:51:38More nightmares.
00:51:41You don't look so well.
00:51:44In fact, you look like you're dying.
00:52:09I'm right in here, Ozzy.
00:52:11You can come in.
00:52:14Let's talk about your feelings.
00:52:18Oh, come on.
00:52:20You want to get rid of those negative thoughts, don't you?
00:52:23I can help with that.
00:52:54Shh.
00:53:04Shh.
00:53:18Shh.
00:53:19Shh.
00:53:23Okay, you're done here. I need you out.
00:53:24Wait, I just had something.
00:53:26No, I can't hear you hollering like that. You gotta go.
00:53:29I don't think you understand what I just experienced here.
00:53:32Good, you got what you wanted. Now get the fuck out of here.
00:53:34Get out.
00:53:37I don't know if this is just one big nightmare.
00:53:44It's the most rational explanation, right?
00:53:48God.
00:53:48God. Jesus.
00:53:51Mom.
00:53:52Dad, just please just wake me up. Please, please, please.
00:54:00Ozzy, it's your father.
00:54:03Just me.
00:54:07Look, I know you're upset.
00:54:10I understand.
00:54:13We were wrong.
00:54:30I brought you some lunch. It's the stuff from the house.
00:54:34I'm not hungry.
00:54:39I came here to say that I respect your need for space to collect your thoughts.
00:54:44I'm not here to force you to talk to us. You can take all the time you need.
00:54:50I'm just here to say that I'm deeply sorry and that I love you. That is all.
00:54:58Well, I had it, though.
00:55:02Don't you think I deserve to know my own history to know who I am?
00:55:05Yes, we do.
00:55:07It was a stupid decision.
00:55:09We were afraid it would disrupt your mental health.
00:55:12Our families had a history of mental illness, and we wanted to try to break that cycle.
00:55:19I'm sorry.
00:55:20I'm sorry for hurting you.
00:55:23Tell me about the book, Dad.
00:55:26What book?
00:55:28You gonna lie to me again?
00:55:35What do you know about the book?
00:55:36What is there to know about it?
00:55:38Stay away from all that nonsense.
00:55:41Your grandmother was sick.
00:55:43No!
00:55:43That's what it was.
00:55:43She was not!
00:55:45Ozzy, open the door!
00:55:48You need to leave, Dad.
00:55:49I told her to stay in the car!
00:55:50I just need to talk to you.
00:55:51Please!
00:55:57Get out!
00:55:58Calm down, Ozzy.

00:56:03This is important.
00:56:05Please take care of yourself.
00:56:07I don't want anything bad happening to me.
00:56:08Get out!
00:56:10She doesn't want us here right now.
00:56:12We have to go, Vicki.
00:56:16I just want to talk to her.
00:56:26I am fuera!
00:56:28She will be doomed.
00:56:31I was going to die.
00:56:32No, I'm not done anyone.
00:56:32No, I wasn't alone here.
00:56:32To sit out, I will open the door and ferm'd for whatever reason.
00:56:35I will drop it.
00:56:37It's so robust.
00:56:39It's freezing
00:56:43I'll do it too.
00:56:45I öld蕅 professors
00:56:47Dear Ozzie, this was your favorite book as a child. Whenever you're stressed or sick, if you read it to

00:58:02Love to help.
00:58:03Love to help.
00:58:04Love to help.
00:58:04There are historical records of it all.
00:58:07Now, some of it was even published in newspapers.
00:58:10You just have to dig hard enough.
00:58:13Oh, God.
00:58:18So, where's the book?
00:58:31Oh, no, I'm not touching it.
00:58:37This is it.
00:58:39It has to be.
00:58:42Oh, God, it smells awful.
00:58:44What should we do with it?
00:58:46We should destroy it.
00:58:48But if what you're saying is true,
00:58:50then maybe we can send it to science to study,
00:58:53and I can give them all my video evidence.
00:58:55No, no, no, this thing is dangerous, okay?
00:58:58It's unpredictable.
00:59:00They weren't able to keep it secure for over 100 years.
00:59:02It kept disappearing from police evidence.
00:59:05No, we have to destroy it now
00:59:06before it ruins someone else.
00:59:17You didn't read any of it, did you?
00:59:20No.
00:59:20Okay, good.
00:59:22It's up here.

01:00:22Shit, shit, shit, shit.
01:00:24I don't know.
01:00:24The book is Dalmer's puppet.
01:00:26He has the power to control it and make it do things, okay?
01:00:29We have to find it.
01:00:30We have to find it and keep others from reading it.
01:00:32That's the only way to end this.
01:00:33He's nothing without his weapon.
01:00:36Okay, where could it be going?
01:00:38Probably the library.
01:00:41That's where the book would most likely get read
01:00:42and that's what it wants.
01:00:47Okay.
01:00:48Wait, hey, look at me.
01:00:51What?
01:00:52Your nose is bleeding.
01:00:53Huh?

01:00:56Yeah, uh, it bleeds when I'm stressed.

01:01:45Yes, they belong to my grandmother.
01:01:47When she died, I came back to sort things out.

01:01:52No, my family lives this generation.

01:16:47A Little Blue Balloon by Patricia Pinkett.
01:16:55There once lived a balloon that was a little blue.
01:17:00A little blue balloon lived in a family of joyful, colorful balloons.
01:17:06Big balloon house.
01:17:09Mama Purple Balloon watered her balloon garden, while Daddy Green Balloon read the Daily Balloon newspaper.
01:17:21Or the Yellow Balloon painted the picture of a pretty balloon.
01:17:26And Grandma Pink Balloon begged the tasty balloon pie.
01:17:32But the Little Blue Balloon felt alone.
01:17:36Left out.
01:17:39Unsure of what balloon activity to do.
