00:18dang we just ain't gonna never get a Euphoria Season 3 and then you gonna call it Andelay
00:23like you didn't do nothing but drag your feet all these years? Decades have gone by.
00:26Years have gone by. I've watched my godsons grow up into young men
00:31waiting on a Season 3 of Euphoria. Okay? So for you to call it Andelay like you've been
00:37rushing to do something is just a little bit. I'm just a little confused. Okay? I don't even
00:42remember what happened in Season 1 and 2. All right? Now if y'all did a rewatch
00:46good job for you. Okay? You get a gold star. But you know what? I just said
00:51I'm just gonna go in blind and honestly I don't know if you really needed to do a rewatch
00:56to get into what was happening in Season 3. The only thing that you need to remember
01:01is that Rue ain't gonna never get her ish together.
01:06Cassie and Nate that's a whole nother topic because I knew y'all were hunching but I didn't
01:11know that y'all was like actually like in love hunching so I'm just really confused about that
01:15one. But yeah before I actually get into this week's episode I just want to give like a little
01:19bit of ground rules. Okay? Because lately you guys have been coming to the channel and y'all been
01:23wanting to tussle in the comment section. I just don't understand. So let me just do a disclaimer.
01:27All right? Just in case y'all forgot. I do recap some reviews. I'm gonna recap the episode and I'm
01:32gonna add some commentary in between that. It's gonna be funny. I might go a little hard on some
01:38of the characters and that's okay because guess what? They're not real. They're not real. And I'm
01:42gonna say that one more time because some of y'all forgetting that especially when we get to our
01:46Testaments review. They're not real. Okay? So I'm not attacking a real person. I'm not attacking
01:52the actor or actress that are that is playing that character. I'm just talking about these bad
01:57choices that everybody be making in Euphoria. All right? Because I know y'all like to tussle in the
02:01comment section but I'm just letting y'all know I can tussle too. All right? Okay. Now I want to

02:08with Rue but actually I'm gonna hold off on Rue for a moment because I do need to talk about
02:12Cassie
02:13and Nate because I'm just actually very confused flabbergasted. Okay Cassie is is you know Rue does
02:21this voiceover where you know she says that Cassie's living in a right-wing suburban neighborhood.
02:27I'm just trying to understand why Cassie is dressed like a dog doing these woof woof
02:32song like videos and stuff. She's trying to become social media famous and I was just like Cassie I just
02:39really hoped and prayed that after all these years that you will find some self-worth but obviously
02:44you still have not found that sweetheart so I'm gonna put you back on the prayer list and if I
02:49find
02:49you I'm gonna tell you to go to the altar because you we might actually have to do an exorcism

02:55there has to be some type of spirit in you that will make you want to marry Nate and do

03:11but what I'm confused about is did Nate have a redemption arc that I missed he not so he he

03:24watching I know I didn't do my rewatch but last time I remembered Nate is still a bad person I

03:29clearly he's a scammer now but I was just very confused even his reaction of walking in watching his
03:36fiancee do these doggy videos the housekeeper like Wanda can't even do what she needs to do now
03:41when he did that snap like go downstairs I was like no that's the Nate that I know but the

03:46that he didn't like spaz out on Cassie like the fact that I've been gone scamming all day scamming from
03:53sun up to sun down to try to help with this raggedy ugly looking house and I'm gonna get on

04:06walking in on her she's trying to explain that she wants to do videos and he was like so you're

05:50Cassie I was confused about that like I knew y'all was hunching but I didn't really really think
05:54that he was like in love with her to be marrying her and then especially with her doing all of
05:58this foolishness and the fact that she's willing to tell the neighbor's wife like yeah I want to do

06:06for that you think Nate's gonna marry you with all of that but I guess he is I'm just very

06:23so I understand the Cassie part of this but now he's a scammer Cassie you could do so much better

07:13I talk to rich people for a living but that does not make me rich they're rich okay just because

07:19in a room with with richness and money that doesn't mean that I have money and I just really I

07:25they really drive that home about showcasing Maddie and Lexi who are both working at Hollywood
07:30and different ways about how baby we live in Cali the rent is high that's why I'm not moving to
07:36Cali now Lori if you want to send me a husband that can afford and I know Nathan ain't got

08:27even gonna try to think in that mindset but we see that um you should know she tells her neighbor

08:37got it so she has his dinner she's all these beautiful candles and then I see what he eating
08:43and I said now girl and maybe this is childhood trauma right here that I'm talking about it's
08:49something about spaghetti that disrupts my spirit is spaghetti good absolutely is spaghetti a main
08:55dish absolutely not and I don't care what y'all say it is a side dish it's not a main

09:00up in the Midwest so y'all understand we do the catfish with the spaghetti as a side all right

09:05I don't know about y'all household because black people are not a model lift but I know that when

11:14have to get married so Nate he actually loved his girl because he really agreed to her doing the

12:13character standpoint I just want to know did Jacob tell y'all that he wasn't going to do this unless

12:18made him a good person if y'all had that conversation fine everybody else doesn't want to
12:22play like a psychopath okay for multiple seasons but maybe if we could have saw how he became a
12:28better person got a voiceover like maybe he went to therapy maybe he found the lord okay maybe the
12:34whole stuff with his daddy just helped him realize he needs to be a better person but I just don't
12:38feel
12:38like we got enough backstory or anything that happened at the end of season two that I don't remember
12:43will lead me to believe that Nate is all of a sudden a good person he's gonna let Cassie
12:47first of all that he's gonna love Cassie and marry Cassie but also too that they're he gonna let
12:53her be our OnlyFans that just that don't make sense to me that that don't make sense just like her
12:57said
12:57the ghetto one that didn't make sense to me either so I just need some answers on that okay okay

13:36and I'm like is that what the water they're supposed to be building is that what they did because if

13:40people had to do was just put the little things up to drive the car up and go down
13:45I want my money back okay you should have been doing it in the first place but just give us
13:49our
13:49money back for that because that don't make no sense that don't make absolutely no sense so she
13:54get the car up there and I was actually impressed and then it looked like okay so all you got
13:57to do
13:58is go down I just don't think I could do that I had anxiety the entire time watching this episode
14:02so she tries to like go down but it's not working then she almost fall back and then I just
14:07had to
14:08look away for a moment she gets out of the car okay so she gets her back she gets out
14:12of the car
14:13I thought that the car was gonna run over her foot at first because that's what really had me shook
14:16for the majority of this scene but she ends up getting away and then she crosses over into uh Texas
14:26I did like the score here now I know I'm in solidarity with Labyrinth but I did like the score
14:32I ain't gonna hold you I'm gonna tell you the truth okay but she gets there and then we see
14:37that she's
14:38like with this little family little house on the prairie family who's obviously like super right
14:44wing as well just in a different way from Cassie and so basically she told them that she was like
14:49in college working on the article for the newspaper talking about how the border like all these illegals
14:55are coming into uh America with no I was just like girl I mean it makes sense she understood her
15:02audience of where she was staying I love that shot when she's at the uh breakfast table with them I
15:07just
15:08like how it looked like she was in this like almost like a Looney Tunes like play if it was
15:13like a live
15:14action Looney Tunes or something I really love that shot I thought it was super cute um but yeah so
15:21the milk did look like it was good I know the milk was busting my uh brother's dad owned a
15:26farm and I
15:28know that milk was busting Dahlia I know she put she put her big move into that that glass of
15:33milk okay for
15:33so she ends up telling everyone bye the daughter uh takes her to the greyhouse station I like this
15:39conversation that she has with her because you know the girl is like I wish I can like go see
15:44the
15:44world and then she was like no I would trade places with you in a heartbeat and we see that
15:49this has a
15:50lasting effect on her but it gets her thinking about religion like what would happen if she has
15:54something like religion to keep her grounded but also too if she had like you know a family I wonder
16:00she thinks like if her father never passed and she had this family unit you know would she be a
16:05different person I think that she believes that she would have and I do agree like even though this
16:10this young girl is living this shelter life I think that she's also shelter from the bad that the world
16:16can bring in and we've seen that as we saw who Ru was before drugs and how she is now
16:21um so I really
16:23did like that whole conversation now we get more insight as to why she was actually in Mexico in the
16:28first place because Lori came to collect her her coins so Ru was working at a smoke shack and then
16:34Lori pops up was like oh hey girl you remember that you owe me money hoe and then she was
16:38like oh I
16:39sure did but girl I ain't got the 10k for you but I could probably get in she's like oh
16:44you don't owe me
16:4410k I was like oh we uh we forgiven drug debt too with the student loans she was like no
16:50you don't owe me
16:5110k because you really owe me 43 million eight hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars and I said
16:58now Lori 20% interest rate over 46 months that really like that 10 grand really went to
17:07to 43 million eight hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars I would have just jumped right
17:13then and there because like how I'm gonna pay that back to you and then she was like well I

17:17for 100k I said now girl that's a good deal now she ain't got if she didn't have 10k Lori

17:31math and Lori you knew that girl didn't have that dang old money so this girl became a body what

17:43fentanyl from Mexico back to the states for Lori so Lori had to move in with her cousin after Fez
17:49R.I.P. Angus uh got busted by the cops and we find out that they're actually keeping him alive
17:56for the
17:56storyline and I actually think that's like really dope I feel like it's like a piece of him that's
18:01still you know around I love I just I really like that they kept him alive like even in the
18:08storyline
18:09and he's just doing he's doing a bid for 30 years I mean so he in jail for the rest
18:13of his life
18:13basically but um we do find out that Lexi Lexi's not in contact with him but Rue is actually in
18:19contact with him so because of everything that happened at the end of season two Lori has to
18:24close her business where she was and she moved in with her cousin uh and they're basically running
18:29the drug business together and she was absolutely right they it's some inbreeding going on yeah yeah
18:35absolutely absolutely some inbreeding happening right there I'm just I'm not even going to hold
18:40you okay um so yeah so we see that she goes over there and she has these like bags of
18:49drugs that she
18:50has to swallow now I didn't know like you can ingest KY jelly I was just like y'all is
18:56that safe
18:57it wasn't that else she can take so she had to put it in the water I mean it was
19:01very informative you
19:01got to put it in the water to make sure that the bag is uh sealed because you know if
19:06it explodes
19:07and you if it gets into your bloodstream like you did like the girl that passed and they just took
19:11the drugs out of her I was like dang you at least send the body back to the family something
19:16so she's
19:17doing all of this that whole sequence and then she got Faye involved in this craziness the whole
19:21sequence of them trying to like stuff this stuff down their throat and them gagging and then all the
19:25spit and stuff I was just like yuck okay I was like I get I get it I don't know
19:32if I necessarily
19:33needed the visual but then we saw all them bags and that girl body I was just like how you
19:37even
19:38got space to fit all of that in there okay that was that was a lot so they go to
19:42the border and
19:43then what dude's like hey like did you have a good time and Faye was like no like do it
19:48look like I
19:49had a good time so Rue and Faye are living with Lori I mean they got a whole little operation
19:56the
19:56house looked little but obviously everybody got a place to sleep they running a whole drug lab
20:01in the barn underneath the barn so I guess they they got a whole thing going okay now here's the
20:07part
20:07that really disrupted my spirit all right and it is back to the spaghetti but in a different way okay
20:14so they was carrying Rue in okay because you got to poop the bags out so they said go get
20:20the
20:20strainer red flag one they picked up the strainer out of the dishwasher they picked up the strainer
20:28out of the dishwasher so that means that strainer that you took so Rue can go poop in the strainer
20:34to strain the poop away from the bags y'all be washing that in the dishwasher with the regular dishes
20:45with the regular dishes so it's feces in the dishwasher with the dishes the plates the forks
20:55the spoons the cups and then to make matters even worse they was making spaghetti and they took the
21:05strainer that room pooped in and they took it and they put the pasta in the strainer
21:12and I don't care if you washed it out I don't care because it shouldn't have been in the dishwasher
21:19with the rest of the dishes that's like people who wash underwear with their regular clothes or
21:27day washcloths and if you and if you wash your underwear with your washcloths and stuff don't
21:35admit that in the comment section because I'm gonna let you know right now I'm gonna judge you because
21:39that's nasty it's nasty so the fact that y'all was eating a spaghetti and Rue up here smelling the
21:46dressing hoe you need to be looking why are you eating feces spaghetti that just didn't make no sense
21:58I mean they just nasty just nasty nasty okay I'm sorry I'm already triggered by their spaghetti in
22:10general okay and then you telling me you doing the spaghetti where Rue be where she be shitting
22:15it don't make no sense okay oh all right so Rue be driving Uber too on the side I don't

22:23much money she trying to make with the Uber but I'm like girl I mean I guess she doing Uber

22:32money you know maybe I don't know so we do see that when she Lexi does let her go to

22:40and she's like telling her to tea like how Jules told Maddie that she a sugar baby and um you

22:48this is when we got like all the backstory her talking to uh Lexi about like hey you should call
22:53Fez and then she was like she was telling her how she met this Christian family and how it kind
22:58of
22:58changed her she was just like no you can't do that I don't want to be around Christians and she's
23:02like
23:02what's wrong with Christians she's like they're judgmental but I said but Lexi you judgmental so do
23:07it matter I don't think like that like that just that didn't make sense to me Lexi because you're just
23:13judgmental as a Christian so you know I was like whatever all right so she's having a conversation
23:18with Ali it was nice to see Coleman she's having a conversation with Ali and then they talking about
23:23somehow she tells him about this experience and how she wants to like read the Bible and she says
23:28she gonna take everything as fact and I said not rude girl you smuggling drugs from Mexico you eating
23:36spaghetti out of the same pasta strainer that you poop in and you're also on drugs so how you gonna
23:44take stuff literal boo you gonna be in for a rude awakening okay because from the moment that I got
23:50saved whoo baby when you realize all the sinning you be doing I just I just had to be like

23:57it's just some stuff that I'm just gonna have to stand about until I get married okay
24:01just a couple of things I'm gonna have to send about but it's a little bit different when you
24:06open your eyes and you start reading the Bible all right so Ali so then she's like well how is

26:23really like that interaction for the rest of this episode so um we see that Bishop is standing real
26:31creepy in the garage she acts like hey can I go use the bathroom she walked past Marshawn Lynch character
26:37I don't know why he had them floaties you got you this big man with these muscles and stuff and

26:41got the floaties on in the pool I'm just really confused about that I did like seeing Ahsanti uh black

27:19good old time and so then Alamo is like hey how you gonna come up in my house dancing with
27:25my host
27:25and you're not gonna say hi like that's a real disrespectful okay and so she's like oh my bad
27:30like you know what I think that God brought us together and I said now Rue
27:37I don't I don't I don't think the Lord was bringing y'all together boo I I know I I

27:43you saying but I don't I don't think this what the Lord I I don't think this is a sign
27:48that the Lord
27:48was trying to send you okay girl like my man said that he's he's running the the hottest commodity on

28:00then I was just I was confused at first because I'm just like you saying that the Lord brought you
28:05together like this it was just really confusing for me but when he said now when Rue said that this

29:19and then but in the midst of all of this Tish ends up overdosing on the pills they relates with
29:24fentanyl after a scientist character uh tested the drugs he wasn't too happy about that and then
29:30she that's when she said like I didn't really think that God brought us together like I didn't
29:34know they just gave me the bag I delivered it I ain't got nothing to do with this foolishness
29:38and then he was like well if you believe in God let's see if he believe in you and so
29:42he takes
29:43her outside he puts the apple on her head he pulls the trigger and she survives so I was like
29:47okay
29:48maybe maybe the Lord was looking out I still don't know if he wanted you to pair with somebody to
29:52say
29:52he the king of the peas but okay fine so I guess for right now the man above believes in
29:58her and that
29:59was the end of the episode overall I mean the episode was interesting I really only care about
30:06Rue's storyline to be quite honest with you um we didn't get enough Alexi and Maddie for me to like
30:12really get invested in it and we really didn't get we didn't get anything with Jules um I'm still
30:18very deeply troubled by the whole Nate being a good person thing yeah he's a scammer but like I just
30:24I
30:24need can someone let me know that I missed something of the redemption arc for Nate because that just
30:28doesn't make sense to me and also too I'm not gonna hold y'all I'm so tired of Sydney Sweeney
30:35just being
30:36objectified for her body I just like after Euphoria I understand that y'all had to fulfill y'all contracts
30:44but after this I I don't want I don't want to see you be sexualized unless it just really makes
30:50sense
30:50for whatever you're in but honestly I just don't want to see her be it's it's just like it was
30:57too
30:57much it's just too much for me because I know this only the first episode so I'm sure it's gonna
31:01get
31:01worse and it's just I I'm kind of tired of that but I do like Rude being around some other
31:07black
31:07people now I didn't want her to be selling drugs and running hoes and stuff for the other black people
31:12but it is nice just to see her around more blackness so like give me more of that maybe less
31:18of the
31:19running the hoes but you know whatever you gotta do girl I understand people got bills to pay and
31:25contracts to fulfill but overall for me the episode's fine it's fine I'm more interested just
31:31to see what trouble Rude's gonna get herself into and what everybody else has been up to
31:35but I just hope that the majority of this season isn't gonna be us looking at Rude and looking at
31:41Cassie because Cassie really be irking my everlasting nerves and the few nerves that I have left I really
31:46don't want to spend them with her getting on them so I hope that we get to see more of
31:51the other
31:51characters in the next episode but yeah overall this episode was fine it was fine beautiful gals
31:57great set design great great production design I like the needle drops um the little temptations at
32:03the end but yeah like overall it was fine it's fine it's fine I'm here for Rude's storyline though okay
