00:00If you're one of the millions of Americans who read George Orwell's Animal Farm back in school,
00:04you probably know that the novella caused a fair share of controversy when it was first released.
00:09There's a new animated film from Angel Studios out this weekend that's also causing a bit of a
00:14stir in Hollywood. It comes from director Andy Serkis, who you might recognize as Gollum from
00:19the Lord of the Rings franchise, and a lot of George Orwell fans were a little confused when
00:23the first trailer featured drones, fart jokes, and pink Lamborghinis, and left many of them
00:29wondering how much respect for the source material Andy Serkis actually had. But when I spoke to Andy,
00:34he said he's not too worried about what the critics have to say. He thinks that George Orwell himself
00:39would just be happy that people are talking about authoritarianism in all of its different forms
00:44today. So even if the critics are calling it smooth-brained or cinematic manure, he's not
00:50worried. So he's hoping that people will turn up in cinemas this weekend for the film which has a
00:55massive A-list cast including Seth Rogen, Gaten Matarazzo, Kathleen Turner, and so many more. So
01:01if you check it out this weekend, let me know how many fart jokes there are. Sign up for the
