00:00Two young people are extremely happy.
00:02They want to commit to each other.
00:03Why would that be a problem? I don't see it.
00:05I think people's opinions, if they understand it or don't,
00:08it doesn't make a difference to what I'm doing.
00:10Paris Fury, Venezuela Fury, it's so lovely to meet you both.
00:14How are you both doing today?
00:15Really good. We've been up since the crack of dawn.
00:17We're here today to talk about your show,
00:19At Home With The Furies, which is back for season two.
00:22And the show gives such an honest look into your lives,
00:26into the sort of household, the chaos, all the big moments.
00:29Is there anything that isn't filmed?
00:32What doesn't make the cut?
00:33No. Everything's filmed, isn't it?
00:36There's arguments, there's drama, there's life,
00:39there's goods and bads, there's the ugly, it all gets filmed.
00:42Even if you're in the middle of an argument and then you're going at it
00:45and then you think, crap, there's cameras in here.
00:46And then you think like, but I just need to tell you
00:48and I need to finish this off.
00:49So yeah, they get the whole thing.
00:51Calm down, you're going to have an article.
00:52I'm no different from any other day of the week.
00:53Why don't we try anger management classes with you?
00:55I'd hurt someone in anger management.
00:57A lot of praise for this show has come from the way that it portrays Tyson's mental health issues.
01:03What's it like having audiences respond to something that's so personal to you as a family?
01:08At the beginning, when we very first opened up about Tyson's mental health,
01:11it was a relief to talk about it.
01:14It was a relief because we'd been through this really long process years ago
01:17when he had a really dark stage in it and it was a relief to talk about it.
01:21And then I found so many responses was good.
01:24Like, oh, I have that, I can relate to that.
01:27And how do you deal with this and how do you deal with that?
01:29And it kind of felt like you was helping people.
01:31So for them to see that side, I feel like it's helpful in the world.
01:34And I think it's good to open up and be like, you know, nobody's perfect.
01:37Some people have these kind of issues and this is how we deal with it and this is how our
01:42life is.
01:42I mean, how much control do you have over the way that story is told?
01:46And do you feel sort of, do you feel protective over the way that that gets portrayed?
01:51I don't feel like there's no hidden agenda.
01:53They're not out there to try and put us out in a bad light
01:55and we're not there to try and pretend we're something we're not.
01:58So you just get this natural, organic life that is ours.
02:02People's opinions, as long as it's your, unless it's your family's opinion, you know, people who matter,
02:06your friends, your loved ones, your family, their opinions matter.
02:09But the rest of the world's opinions is irrelevant to you as an individual,
02:12because if I was doing wrong, my mom is going to come over to me and be like,
02:16you know what, you're in the wrong. That's not right. You shouldn't do that.
02:18But if I go on Instagram and I put a picture on and someone says,
02:23you're ugly, you're old, you're this, you're that, I ain't going to listen to that.
02:25That's a daft, yeah, just completely void opinion.
02:28And I'm trying to teach that to my kids, especially with social media, all that hate.
02:32You get it all the time, don't you? There's always someone there.
02:34Oh my God. But thank God she is solid enough.
02:36She knows, she says like, I just ignore it. She does just ignore it.
02:39Good for you. I mean, if you can have that, I'm not being funny, if you can have that at
02:4216,
02:43you have that, like, inner strength, that thing to just be like, block it out, doesn't matter.
02:47Yeah. That's amazing.
02:48And that is how she is. She's even said it to her fiancé.
02:51Because when he first went out there, everybody jumped on him.
02:54And he was getting, like, some bad comments and, oh, you're old, you're this, you're that, you're whatever.
02:59And he deleted social media for a few weeks, just like he couldn't handle, like, that kind of pressure at
03:04the moment.
03:04And she said, ignore it, ignore it. And I was really proud of her for knowing, you know, negative content.
03:09You don't need to only listen to your loved ones and your family.
03:12If you don't like that, change the station.
03:15A huge part of this second season is following your engagement. Congratulations, I say.
03:20Traditions within the traveller community mean that people do often get married younger.
03:24Is this something that you want to, you want people to understand about that?
03:29I think people's opinions, if they understand it or don't, it doesn't make a difference to what I'm doing.
03:34I can't get my head wrapped around in the slightest. People have put these comments on, like, she's too young,
03:39she's too this.
03:39So if Venezuela had a serious boyfriend and she moved in with him, no one would have an opinion.
03:45No one would care. It wouldn't be Anistra.
03:46So the fact that she's getting married and she feels like she wants to take that step in her life,
03:50people's had this great big opinion, like, you're ending your life, you're so young, you should live your life.
03:56But I'm really struck, like, what part is she not living?
04:00She's getting married, they intend to do travel, they intend to pursue their dreams of what they both want to
04:05do.
04:06They're both young, they're in love. Oh my God, it's romantic, it's handsome, it's lovely.
04:10Why would that be a problem? I don't see it. I am utterly blind to these comments. I don't get
04:15it.
04:16Every young girl my age wants a husband.
04:18Marriage is forever.
04:19I have to say your hen do looked absolutely incredible.
04:23Is there anything, is there anything that you can tell us that really kind of summed up that night?
04:28I just really enjoyed it, I really did. I thought every bit of it was good.
04:32One thing, I woke up the next morning and I had to rip about eight pieces of glass out my
04:35feet.
04:36No, she danced barefoot all night long.
04:37Glass? What?
04:39She's got gypsy feet, they're okay. They're solid, they're strong.
04:41Oh my God! I think that is actually the marker of a very successful night.
04:45That is it, when you dance all night even on the glass.
04:47Is there anything that you can tell us at all about the wedding? Have you set a date? Have you
04:51been dress shopping?
04:52We're planning it. We're planning.
04:54You're in the planning process. We are deep in the planning process.
04:56Yeah, we haven't just done it and sat back yet.
04:58Yeah.
