00:00I'm going to change my clothes and get down to, uh...
00:01Work?
00:02That's, uh, that's right, Howard.
00:04Must be a nice feeling.
00:07I used to work.
00:10I used to be the wings of man.
00:14Howard, sit down.
00:17Howard, you know, when, uh, when I was in high school,
00:20I played drums in the marching band,
00:21and then, uh, when I was stationed in Korea,
00:23I was with the 193rd, uh, Combat Support Orchestra.
00:28They said I had the best wrist, uh, south of the 38th Parole.
00:32So when I got out of service, I didn't even go to college.
00:35I went right to New York, and I auditioned for the Buddy Rich Orchestra.
00:39And I really thought I did great, you know.
00:41After the audition, Buddy came over, and he said,
00:44You stink, man.
00:47And I was pressed, you know. I knew it was all over.
00:51But, I mean, if that hadn't happened,
00:52I, uh, I wouldn't have gone to college,
00:54and I wouldn't have become a psychologist,
00:56and I wouldn't have met Emily,
00:57and I wouldn't be half as happy as I am right now.
01:02You understand what I'm trying to say, Howard?
01:06Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't listening.
