00:00I think the first thing I'll say is, just for context, under our system, I can't comment on the specifics
00:08of individual cases.
00:09I can provide the following assurances and facts.
00:13One is that, as you know, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and all those members,
00:20the Revolutionary Guard has been listed as a terrorist organization for several years.
00:25The members are prohibited from coming.
00:28We have a series of screenings, and we take action.
00:31And no members have entered the country.
00:36Action has been taken appropriately.
00:39We have, in our screening, over the course of the last year, for example,
00:44over 20,000 individuals were prevented from entering the country under those,
00:50not 20,000 members of the Revolutionary Guard, to be clear, but just to give you a scale of those
00:55actions.
00:58And, look, there are multiple hurdles in order to get into the country,
01:02and I think the important thing is that those hurdles are effective, and we continue to see that.
01:07And, of course, in any circumstance, any period of time, there's always reviews of what's been done and where things
01:16can be improved.
01:16But the assurance, the core assurance to Canadians is that members of the Revolutionary Guard rightly have been prohibited from
01:24entering this country,
01:25and they will not enter this country.
