Indonesia commuter rail resumes after deadly crash, passengers urge safety improvements

Passengers on Jakarta’s Bekasi line resumed commuting by train on Thursday (April 30) as the East Bekasi station reopened days after a deadly collision that killed 16 passengers.  While trains returned to normal schedules, many passengers said fear and trauma lingered, calling on authorities to improve safety at railway crossings.
