00:07Look I know we've been saying it but we are so honored to honor you as our Women of the
00:11Year. It's so exciting. Your year has just been incredible.
00:14If you had to summarize what it means to be Women of the Year what would you say?
00:19Oh my god. Big sigh.
00:21Honestly one of the highest honors I think of this entire you know season for us just to be recognized
00:27by like fellow women who we've looked up to and who've given us so much strength.
00:33You know the film is honestly at the end of the day it is about sisterhood and is about women
00:39supporting each other so to be able to be and to receive this love is incredible.
00:45That is so incredible and y'all are the first Korean Americans and first group to ever receive this honor.
00:52How does it feel to make history?
00:55It feels unreal. I just can't believe it because for us representation is so so important you know because you
01:03know I guess we've always said like growing up we haven't seen many people in the music industry women who
01:08look like us.
01:09So it's just to know that there are kids out there like little Asian girls little Korean girls that can
01:14look up to us too as well and other Asian women here in the music industry is just such a
01:20blessing and such an honor.
01:21Absolutely. Amazing. Oh my gosh.
01:23I mean you've been making history all year. Oscars, Grammys, Women in Music. If you could break any record or
01:29make history again in any field what is sort of next on your goal list right now?
01:34Another number one.
01:35Yeah, exactly. Speak it into existence. We have EGOT, honey. Okay, so you all just performed at Coachella with Cat's
01:46Eye. What did it mean to share that stage with them?
01:49It was an iconic performance. I think, well I've never seen 90,000 people in one gathering and I think
01:57it was an honor to have Cat's Eye invite us and share the stage.
02:00They're also an incredible, powerful, badass girl group. They work really hard. They show up all the time. And so
02:06I felt like, you know, it just made sense. And it was just a beautiful meeting of girl power.
